When I have time to sit down I can start hashing out some jutsu. Would that help?

That would help a TON.


The key element of this guild for jutsu are the Parent and Children jutsu.

Example:
Chidori=Parent jutsu
the 2434532412 variants Sasuke made, children jutsu.
You must learn the parent jutsu before learning the children jutsu.

This is how we make jutsu in this guild. Like Naruto really just know's the Resengan and Kagebunsin, but he can do so much more because variants.

now not all parent jutsu have to be a new jutsu. They can augment the parent jutsu.
Example:
Kage bunsion, divide your chakra evenly between you and all clones. Parent jutsu.
Child jutsu augmentation, you chose a % of chakra to put into a clone.

So I'm mulling around ideas of an Endurance equation, not sure if it should, but I'm trying to make it similar to the Chakra pool equation. Also I'm trying to make it to where your Strength has a slight effect on your Endurance.

(Lvl*2)+(Str)+(Cpv*2) is the equation that keeps entering my brain so I'm just gonna post it.

We need to determine how Taijutsu works first.
I really like Styles, I enjoy how they can be used so much better than I have seen them used.

So we need to know how Taijutsu functions, and the average cost of Taijutsu before we can start working out the Endurance equation.

I do like Strength having a small effect on it.

Yes, some people need to be physically stronger than another.
And we can't have this be represented by people simply claiming they are stronger.

tru but what for it to do, it ether needs a direct affect like chakra control dose or be apposed like stealth and awareness are.

I thought that too, but Strength is something i know people will make use of.
Its more akin to speed, however speed also rocks Jutsu/post amounts, something i may remove to balance it with strength or if it feel clunky.

You could go back to the default 3 and have a perk for one more to make it four.

After going over this again, I'm not going to lie i don't like how big the #'s are =/

I like the #'s a lot more when they are in the 30's. However i cant seem to find a way to reduce them.

I may be scrapping this and making a new one, but for the time being we can stick with this.

The smaller the numbers the harder the training is going to have to be to get stronger. Because if the cap is 30 then 1-15 is a hell of jump compared to if the cap is 200 and you go from 1-15

True but it makes the bonuses smoother.

Right now a -5 to perception is ******** worthless at higher levels, and a -25 is wtf powerful at lower levels.


Right now we have to scale bonuses with the levels, when i would prefer that all bonuses are good regardless of level.

Level one, Your an Academy student.
You must chose your starting stats based off a point buy. you have 5 points to spend.
If you chose to take a 0, 1, or 2 you GAIN the amount represented as a negative to spend on other stats. So if i chose to take a 0, i now have 5+4=9 points to spend on other stats.

Stat/Cost

1xx–2
2xx–1
3xxx0
4xxx1
5xxx2
6xxx3
7xxx5

You allocate these points to your 7 stats.
Intelligence: This stat increases your chakra pool allowing you to use more justsu in a fight.
Wisdom: This allows you to have better control of your chakra, reducing the cost of cast jutsu.
Agility: The speed stat determines how fast you are in comparison to other ninja,as well s the # of Jutsu you can use in a single post.
Stealth: An abstract stat that allow you to be less detected by those around you. The higher your stealth, the better you can sneak and hide in stealth based techniques, or before a fight.
Awareness: This is the counter stat to Stealth. A high awareness is common in tracker ninja and sensory types. A higher awareness stat prevents enemies from getting the drop on you.
Endurance: This stat functions as chakra for Taijutsu. A higher Stamina pool will allow you to preform more Taijutsu in a fight.
Strength: This stat is used to represent how powerful your shinobi is physically.

Some clans may have augmentative bonuses or penalties to stats. These are applied after all stats are assigned.


After building your stats, you must select one perk. You must meet all prerequisites for the perk, if any, in order to select it.

After choosing your perk, you calculate your Chakra pool, as well as your Stamina pool.
Chakra pool: At every even level you gain 1 points to your chakra pool. Your then add three times your Intelligence value, and half your wisdom value.
If your Chakra pool ever reaches 0, you die.
equation: Chakra Pool=(lvl/2)+(Int*3)+(Wis/2)
Stamina pool: Every level you gain 1 point to your Stamina pool. You then add double your your endurance value and one-half your strength value.
If your endurance pool ever reaches 0, you black out.
equation: Stamina Pool=lvl+(End*2)+(Str/2)
NOTE: If any perks, class bonuses, jutsu, or any other ability would modify the pool itself(not the stat's related to the pool) you apply these bonuses after calculating the equation.

Jutsu limitations.
You may only ever learn a # of jutsu = to your level.
This does not discriminate as to what type of jutsu.
Be in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or Taijutsu.
for example. A level 5 RPC can know:
5 ninjutsu. or,
3 ninjutsu and 2 taijutsu. or,
1 ninjutsu, two genjutsu, and two taijutsu.
Ect.

Classes and other thing such as perks or Clan may change this maximum jutsu limit.

This limit only affect Parent jutsu. you may learn any # of available sub-jutsu that branch from a parent jutsu without that affecting your limit.

Taijutsu and Weapon styles. You may know one taijutsu or weapon style per 10 points of Strength, plus one. meaning you will always be able to know one Taujutsu or weapon style regardless of your strength value, but if your value is 10 or higher you gain more.
equation: # of styles known=Str/10(rounded down)+1

you may only ever have one style active at a time.


Leveling up.
As you train, you will gain experience. Every jutsu you learn will grant more exp = to the chakra points value required to train it.
You may also gain experience by completing missions.
You may also gain experience for fighting, though this is limited.

FOR ALPHA/BETA: The amount of experience needed to attain the next level will be 1000x your current level.

At level 5 and ever 5 levels there after (10,15,20,25,30,ext.) you will gain new ability scores, as well as a new perk.

Ability scores: All stats will increase by 1, and you may chose two more stats to increase by 1 more(so they net increase of 2 for the level).

Perk: you gain one more perk, and must meet the prerequisites of the perk, if any. you obtain your ability score BEFORE the perk, so if your stat only just reached the required amount for a perk this level you may chose it.





NOTE: This is just a mess of ideas I have in my head, and want to get on paper.
