The smell of the man was horrible, just disgusting! She tried her best to hide her disgust though listening to what she was being told. She needed to learn, she had to.
"A demonstration would probably be good..." She got out her own shard and looked it over. She was sure she must have been told how to do this but it just escaped her. She really had no idea what she was doing.
"Yeah I think seeing what happens would be good, do you have to concentrate when it's out too?" She really didn't know what this all involved.

Remarque just flashed her a quick smile; he would have chosen the same thing and didn’t seem the least bit annoyed by her preference. Shard in hand, he offered a slight shrug as he presented it. “I don’t really think so. I mean, it kind of just does its own thing. Doesn’t really seem smart enough to listen to complicated orders, anyway. All you have to focus on is making sure it doesn’t take any damage. It’s not a fighter—you are. So when you’ve got someone incapacitated with energy right for the picking, then you let this little guy out.”
He glanced at the homeless man and held out his shard, pointing it directly at him. It took a short few seconds for the wraith to drift through the glass, though when it did it wasted absolutely no time before it affixed itself to the sleeping male.
Remarque watched as it drained, seeming a bit less active than usual. He was used to the wraiths darting around, though when presented with a sleeping target it took a more leisurely approach. The whole thing couldn’t have taken more than a moment; when the man started to look pale, Remarque cleared his throat as if to get the attention of the mirrorwraith. He didn’t know if it had realized it had collected enough or if it actually cared about his opinion, though the wraith, now bloated with energy, turned and lurched back into the shard.
When it was safely in the shard, Remarque tucked it away in a single fluid motion and returned his gaze to Thule. “As easy as that. It might take a few tries to get totally comfortable with, but you’ll be a pro in no time,” he reassured. Thule seemed to be a fast enough learner, and he had little doubt that she’d be a prime member of the court despite getting off to a slow start.

She watched in a mix of awe and horror as she saw the energy literally drain away. She looked at Remarque and then nodded.
"Okay I shall find another guy." There had to be more around right? After all this was the park and it was well known that people here were well... homeless. Like her really but at least she had her van.
She found someone soon enough and then took the shard and let it loose. The wraith was something strange and as she watched she really couldn't help but in awe of how it moved so gracefully in a strange kind of way. It did however return to her without prompting which was probably a good thing as she hadn't been paying much attention to what had been actually happening.
"Okay now what do we do? I assume it has to go to Ares right?" She had to check these things!

“Now,” Remarque explained, nodding in approval at her energy gathering, “You just keep that thing—and the mirror shard—safe. I always kind of assumed it just gathers the energy then goes back through the mirror into Mirror Space and sniffs around ‘til it finds Ares, but,” he shrugged. “Nobody’s corrected me yet, so that’s what I’m sticking through. You caught on pretty quick,” he complimented on her draining; while he was proud of her for being such a quick learner, there was a seed of jealousy within him. Comrade of his or not, Remarque was a jealous person and it was just in his nature to envy her.
“I’ve got no doubt that you’ll have the hang of this in no time. It’s as easy as that and it doesn’t get anything but easier,” he promised. While he would have engaged in any sort of altercation with a senshi, he didn’t imagine Thule would be so eager too (perhaps if only for her gender) and was quick to remind, “As long as you don’t run into any senshi, anyway. If you aren’t comfortable taking them on, watch your back. Of course, a pretty little thing like you shouldn’t have any issues sweet talking them, so I think you’ll be all right,” he concluded, flashing her a grin and a wink.

Thule took note of everything he said and smiled. "Thank you so much, this really has helped." She found herself going a little red as he complemented her but she just tried to dismiss the comment and go back to her usual colour. "I should probably be going now but seriously, thank you so much. I don't know when I would have got the hang of it all otherwise!" She would practice daily, especially the mirrorwalking as that was a little strange and weird and she really needed to get the hang of that!

Watching her, a pleased, cocky sort of smile drifted across Remarque’s face. “Not a problem in the slightest, Thule. If you need anything else, just give me a buzz or something, I’ll make time for you. When you get the hang of things, we should go out and collect energy together sometime,” he offered.
Typically, Remarque valued his own time far too much to spare with others, however if ever he was going to make an exception, it would be for the Dark Mirror Court. Sure, he could probably get a lot more done by himself than if he was having her tag along—but in the grand scheme of things? As soon as she was comfortable doing her job, they’d increase the output. He figured it was a worthy investment and—besides—he’d kind of enjoyed not walking around all by himself. It was nice to have socialization with someone else; it was refreshing and encouraging.
Not to mention Remarque just always felt better after having free reign to show off. At least this time it had been for a good cause.

"Sure I would like that!" She smiled at the idea of the energy collecting and then she turned to leave, looking at the mirror they had recently come through she decided to use her new found power to mirror walk back.
At least now she had some sort of idea what it was she was doing and how to do it. Maybe she could get the hang of this.
