Justin let out a sigh and laid down on the floor, surprised he didn't go through that too. He was glad to see her smile a bit, but he could feel her pain. He tried to sleep, but couldn't, since he was a ghost now, so all he could do was stay up all night until morning. He stayed with Alex to make sure she slept alright. He was worried for his friend.

Alex heard her alarm go off and she turned it off groaning and she rubbed her face with her hands and she walked to her drawers and she looked for something to wear. She usually texted Justin every morning to wake him up and she sighed and looked in the mirror."Can't text anymore can I Justin....stupid drunks..." she banged her fist on her dresser and she sighed and she put her head on the dresser.

Justin watched Alex and sighed, wishing he could have had a chance to let her see him. To say goodbye. He wished he could live again, if only for a few moments. He could tell she was angry at the guy who ran him over. He hated seeing her mad or in pain.

Alex sighed and she soon got ready for school and she saw her mom come in and her mom told her that she can stay home today. Alex smiled and she leaned up against a wall when her mom left."I hope you can hear me Justin...cause...I want to say one thing..." soon her mom came back and gave her flowers and told Alex to go to Justin's grave for awhile. Alex nodded and got up to grab his coat and she walked outside towards the graveyard.

Justin had followed her out to his grave, wondering what she would say. He had known her for years, so if she would say something he didn't know while he was dead, he had to hear this. He needed to know what was going on in her head.

Alex got to his grave and she sighed and she sat down in front of it."Justin...I want you to know that I like you a lot always have. I just been afraid to tell you." she said looking at the ground and soon the tears started to fall again.

Justin's eyes went wide. He couldn't believe what he had heard. Sure, he had secretly had feelings for his friend, but he never thought she liked him. This made him feel even worse about being dead. He kneeled down in front of her, seeing the tears in her eyes, and brought a hand to her cheek, trying to wipe her tears, but it didn't work.

Alex put her head on his grave and she cried her tears hitting the ground."Justin...I'm so sorry...I should have never made you go to the party with me...I shouldn't have went." she shivered a little.

Justin tried to hug his friend, but he just went through her again. "Alex...it's not your fault. Neither of us knew it would happen." He tried telling her, so desperately hoping she could hear. He hated seeing her blame herself for this.

Alex lifted her head and brushed her tears away when he said her name."Hello?" she only heard his name nothing else, she got up and she looked around and she scared a little bit.

Justin floated away from his friend, noticing that she got scared. He remained silent, since he didn't want to freak her out, or anything. He would still watch over her, since being dead left little options for fun, and he was still worried for her.

She shook her head."I'm probably losing it a little." she sighed and she put the flowers on his grave and she got up and started to walk away from the graveyard.

Justin sighed and followed her out of the graveyard. He knew she would probably head to school next. Normally, he was annoyed with school, but he wanted to follow her to make sure she was alright. He didn't want her to have an episode or something. He had hated school, but he would gladly go if he could help his friend cope with his loss.

Alex walked down the sidewalk and she had her bookbag on her shoulder."I don't want to go to school today." she said to herself and she soon walked up the stairs to the school and she walked down the hallway to her first class and she sat down. Her friends already knew what happened and they didn't talk to her.

Justin follwed her to class and tried to sit in his usual desk, but he just went through it. The ghost sighed, but he watched Alex intently, hoping that she was alright. He knew she was heartbroken, but he would still watch over his friend and crush. He had feelings for her since they were kids, since she was always the outgoing, brave person he could never be, and he admired her for always sticking up for him. He couldn't spend an eternity without telling her how he felt. "I'm not really Religious, but if you're there, God....please let my friend Alex see me. I want her to know I'll always be there for her." He said quietly to himself.
