I suppose I oughta post, since I was one of the ones who pushed for this thread... XD;

Lesse, I'm Rydia Asuka, one of Azura's slaves crew, though my chronic laziness leads to me doing a sad lack of anything around here. >>;; I've been working on that though, promise...! Y'all can just call me Rydia, though. :3b

I'm an avid gamer, with my favourites being Tales and the Suikoden series anyone here played Suikoden? No? 'kay, I'll climb back into the lonely realm of Suifandom, then <3. For Tales I've played Destiny, Legendia, and Phantasia, though I've not yet beaten them, and I've beaten Abyss, Vesperia, Graces, and count-the-Symphonia-references--I mean, Knight of Ratatosk. Oh, and Symphonia, of course eighteen times. Also recently started Xillia, though I'm only about ten hours in so far. (School takes away from my gaming, unfortunately...)

Other game series I've played include Golden Sun, Final Fantasy, Pokémon, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Harvest Moon, Legend of Zelda, Ace Attorney, Kingdom Hearts, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, Star Ocean...and some miscellaneous games like Eternal Sonata, Sword of Mana, and Dragon Age.

tl;dr: I play a lot of games.

I don't watch much animé anymore, but some of my favourites are Fullmetal Alchemist, Weiβ Kreuz, DNAngel, Kuroshitsuji, and Black Cat. Other t.v. shows I like are...Heartland, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and Criminal Minds--yeah, I really don't have a lot of patience for sitting around and watching things. ;n; Those're pretty much all I watch.

I've always, honestly, been more of a manga person, with my favourites there being...a lot more varied, such as Nora: the Last Chronicle of Devildom, FMA, Rurouni Kenshin, Gin Tama, 1/2 Prince...I'll just stop there. Being an avid reader, I love books, and my current favourite series is the Wheel of Time. If you happen to have about a month of free time and a love of reading so strong it hurts sometimes, I suggest picking it up. :3b If you have anything less, run the other way. It will win. eve

Insofar as hobbies go, my main ones are, gaming (naturally), writing, and pretty much anything horse related--it is this last one that eats--literally, in many ways--all of the funding I would otherwise spend on gaming. And I regret nothing.

My love of writing translates into an extensive (and sometimes sickening) amount of RPing, though I've been slowing down lately...

As far as anime goes, I have quite a list that I like like Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Black Butler, Pokemon, Trigun, Soul Eater, Hellsing, Gungrave, Samurai Champloo, Saiyuki, Rurouni Kenshin, Wolf's Rain, etc.

Games...I play many games, mostly RPGs. Tales series of course. Abyss was the first of the Tales series I was introduced to. Then I was introduced to Symphonia by that same friend. :3 Around the start of this year, I finally got to try Symphonia out after getting a Wii for Christmas. Abyss, Symphonia, Vesperia, and Radiant Mythology are the only ones I've played so far. Aside from Tales, I'm also a fan of the Final Fantasy series. Yes, I'm a fan of Final Fantasy 7. XD Other RPGs I've played are the Breath of Fire series, Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, etc. Aside from RPGs, I've also played games like Mario, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, etc.

I also like to draw, though I tend to be lazy and end up putting it aside until I get off my butt and finish it. lol.

And I also love music. I like a variety, though I'm not much of a fan of the Rap genre. Though everything I do, I like to have music playing. (I even take an MP3 player with me when I go to work. XD )

And also, I like to RP too. ^_^

Ok, not exactly used to thoroughly introducing myself but here goes!

Currently my Username is The Original Neji Hyuga. Which quite obviously denotes me as a huge fan of the Naruto anime and more specifically the character Neji Hyuga. Though lately I am considering changing my username to Korsall Kaiser. (Korsall sounding like Core - s - All) My name IRL is Joshua and im 19 years old.

Just like everyone here I am a huge gamer and avid anime watcher. My game library is rather large but luckily I posted a journal over on dA a while ago with all the games I got just after failing to get into the Military (was gonna be an Information Technology Specialist in the Army) so I updated the journal with my entire library (though I may be missing a few) so I can just link you guys over there. --> [Link] <-- I don't hink you need an account to view journals. If you do I'll transfer it to a journal over here. Anyways, there are of course other games not in my collection that I've still played. Like Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and another Spyro game that involved destroying crystals of some sort.

So now for my Anime interests. I've seen so many over the years I can't quite remember them all. But I'll give it my best shot. The list includes (I realize some aren't exactly Anime but I feel like including them anyways, sorry)- Naruto, Bleach, Durarara, Soul Eater, Big O, Cowboy Bebob, The Boondocks, FLCL, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG, Inuyasha, Kekkaishi, Death Note, Blood+, Case Closed, Code Geass, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, Eureka Seven, Lupin the 3rd, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo, s-CRY-ed, Trigun, Trinity Blood, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, CardCaptors, Duel Masters, Zoids, .Hack//SIGN, Hamtaro (yes, I watched that and still miss it), Dragon Booster, IPGX, One Piece, Every Pokemon Season to date, Rave Master, Sailor Moon (yes, im a guy and watched and enjoyed that show. I regret nothing...), Every season of Yu-Gi-Oh to date, Zatch Bell!, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Jackie Chan Adventuers, Megas XLR, Samurai Jack, Storm Hawks, Teen Titans, Xaolin Showdown, Chaotic, Digimon (I havent seen all the seasons but I really want to), Get Ed, Monster Buster Club (I can't feel my kneecaps! = best quote ever), Oban Star Racers, Shinzo, Power Rangers SPD (I liked it, so sue me), Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, W.I.T.C.H, A.T.O.M., Beyblade (I actually have three different Driggers. Drigger, Drigger G, and Guardian Drigger), Medabots, Static Shock, and of course the Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss Anime episodes . And I think I got carried away... sweatdrop

I am also following a large number of webcomics. Ryugou, VG Cats, Generation 17, Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire, Planet Zebeth, Two Kinds, Las Lindas, Manly Guys Doing Manly Things, Hannah Is Not a Boys Name, AGENCY, Lackadaisy Cats, Scandinavia and the World, Awkward Zombie, Nuklear Power, Bedlam Genesis, Bittersweet Candy Bowl, and Luci Phurr's Imps. I think that about covers it. I'm always on the lookout for more so if you have any good ones let me know!

Ok, on to some more personal stuff.

I currently have no life so I am very active here on gaia. Yes, I do abuse the '...' though not intentionally. Im an online RP noob as im used to Larping with my friends (though not serious Larping. I refuse to wear a costume for roleplaying purposes. Costumes stay on Halloween) and we played by some pretty loose rules and used some pretty exaggeraed powers so I've had some trouble toning things down. Hoping to get some good experience at the Crystal ball this month though. (its hosted by the same people that host the Annual User Run Ball) I hate the concept of Tl;Dr so I will never do it to you or anyone else. wink All in all im a very easy person to talk to and you can usually find me in the Chatterbox so feel free to pop in for a chat! biggrin I love music but im really not a fan of rap or 'scream'... Im not much of an artist but I do have a few submissions on my deviantArt account RebelLucario. I also play Runescape and in the next day or two Star Wars: The Old Republic. Though due to some unfortunate circumstances I cant play them atm. I am also an addict of Minecraft. I love to read and I own the first three books in the Inheritance series. If I could choose one thing to eat every day for the rest of my life and still survive in good health (as if I was eating normal food) I would choose Zebra Cakes. So moist and delicious! Im really not a Manga person but I do have a couple so you cant say I didn't give it a shot. Im also a sucker for anything Miyazaki, that man is a freaking genius... Also, in the Chatterbox at least, I have stabby fists. I'll stab you with my fists, maybe... ninja

Now, as for how I got into the 'Tales of' series. Back in Middle School I had a friend who I went over to their house all the time. Usually we played games on his Gamecube or roleplayed in his house (ya, thats what I was talking about a couple sentences ago) with some random yet epic idea. (we were always great at thinking up something to RP) However, one day I came over he had a new game. A little RPG by the name of Tales of Symphonia. At first I didn't even give it a second thought but over the next couple of weeks I grew to rather like the game. Eventually it came to the point that I didn't like missing out on all the good stuff he did while I wasn't there and I got the game myself so I could enjoy every last bit myself as well. Whats funny is that he is the same person that originally introduced me to Gaia. I owe a lot to him. xp

Eventually after spending a few months on Gaia I found my way to this very Guild and I learned that there was far more to Tales of Symphonia than I had realized. There was a whole managerie of Tales of Games. Eventually I managed to get my hands on Tales of the Abyss and then a while after that Tales of the World Radiant Mythology.

And finally, now that I hit preview I realize the horror I have unleashed. Im sorry... So very sorry... I thought I wouldn't be able to do much in the way of an introduction but I ended up just barfing out words in the end. I guess thats another thing about me. Once I get started I can really keep going. Again, im really sorry for barfing words all over the thread... sweatdrop

Disgaea is LOADS of fun, but I can really only say from playing the first two and watching my brother play through the other two (all of which are entertaining, to say the LEAST, which is a reason that NISA might be a company I'd like to work for if I can ever cut the mustard in the business, if you know what I mean?).
Sorry, but you might've lost me with your Val comment... Are you talking about Valdetorrez (sp?) from Disgaea 4, possibly? I can just never get enough of his "SARDINES!" comments, lol!
Oh, please, feel free to ask! Yes, I like YYH. There's just too many cases where that idiot Yusuke Urameshi just manages to pull through with a wacko stunt. To a point, it used to remind me a lot of DBZ, but there was also a likeness to Rurouni Kenshin to consider (as far as some of the comic relief went). Basically, if I hear about something I haven't read, played, or seen, I'll try to update my knowledge by either playing it, reading it, or seeing it (whichever is applicable) so that I know how to answer if I can make the time. Like so many others, college is currently eating up a lot of my time.

Anyways, ya. If something really gets to me or inspires me, even if I don't realize it I could just start out with something small, then it just proceeds to snowball and all of a sudden I have a story (in the case of my The Last Customer short story on deviantArt) or a wall of text (as seen in my last post here). I always find it interesting to find out how old people are. When is your birthday? Mine is July 3rd. And by same area you mean Army right? It would be pretty crazy if you tried to be an Information Technology Specialist too. xp And I've seriously played more games than you? I've always thought my collection to be rather modest. I ought to start taking more pride in my collection. sweatdrop I could talk about Runescape and Minecraft all day. And I agree, Tom and Toonami and Adult Swim made Saturday my favorite day of the week. Any idea why Toonami got completely nixed though? Whats so creepy? Im not quite catching on there. And since when is Azura the Golden Sun Guru? I have all three games too ya know... xp I know your pain when it comes to them slashes here. I don't know what causes the problem but it can be really frustrating. And to finish things off, i'm thinking today is gonna be the day I get access to Star Wars: The Old Republic. I just have to be sure to get off before my dad gets home for the rest of the week. After that i'm gonna try and convince my mom to let me back on the desktop since she has been letting my brother on to play his games. Oh wait, one more thing. I gotta sing praises of this game. Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is surprisingly fun and addicting. Its simple but not too simple and is really easy to get into. Its a fairly unknown game but I urge everyone to give it a shot. biggrin

Goodness, Toonami would make my WEEK worth living, with Cartoon Cartoon Fridays as a close second (and I mean close second). Why they took Toonami off for good, from what I heard, is because it was just plain losing popularity. Then again, I still question the choice they made as far as design when they turned it into Toonami Meguzi (sp?). Anyways, I only thought all the similarities were kinda creepy is because I don't usually find ANYONE with so much in common. Really? Most either associate St. Patrick's Day with an Irish drinking holiday (which is what it seems to be now) instead of velebrating St. Patrick driving all the snakes away from Ireland and bringing Christianity (or Catholicism, depending uppon who you hear it from) to Ireland. It's either that, or they associate it with the day where everyone wants to pinch or kiss everyone else (pinch if you're not wearing green, kiss if you're wearing red). I scored pretty well on my ASVAB, too, and had two years in JROTC to boot, so I was set up to go in a rank up at the very least (another rank if I did well enough on the physical test, or so I was told). I screwed up because they found out from me that I'd had to have counseling for PTSD before. Bleh. Dunno if the numbers were wrong or so. It may also have been just because of the fact that they're now trying to reach a different audience from a different generation now. I mean, am I the only one that can barely stand what they have on now? Cow and Chicken were AWESOME to wake up to, as well as CatDog, but they banned those because of either suggestive content or the fact that they were too stupid or something (...yet look at what they're showing NOW... scream I can literally feel myself losing braincells watching 6Teen.) CG and GL are Congratulations and Good Luck respectively. Good luck with your dad... As for the game, it still sounds interesting. Still debating about upgrading to the 3DS, but I still have my DSLite around, so I just might have to try to find it... and...
