Rikki froze for a moment as her lips brushed his.He knew what she meant, but he hadn't expected her to take such a bold action. However, this was a game he knew how to play.
He shifted until his forearms where braced on either side of her head and took control of the kiss, turning it into something entirely possessive. When he broke it, his grin was still firmly planted. "Well, for the record, I like you like you too."

Danny was thoroughly embarrassed when she decided to kiss him, but the fact that he had kissed her back seemed to take her to another level of realization. He liked her. There was no Edel, no Lilura, no ANYONE, but her her. It was cheesy, but she was happy. Stupidly so. It wasn't like Nahm's kiss where she felt exposed and caught off her guard. This was something special for her, and it felt so overwhelming it almost hurt.
The grin on her face mirrored that of Rikki's, sweet and so very adolescent, as the kiss broke and left them staring at each other happily. Hearing Rikki's conformation made it all the more sweet. She put one of her hands on his chest, and moved her head to sit up on his arm. Anything to be closer to him.
Danny wasn't exactly the romantic type. She didn't really know how all this worked. Her excitement just bubbled over into another kiss. She was like an excited little kid who tasted candy for the first time. Sit there and say, "that was good!" Hell no! Danny wanted more of the candy, while she could still take it.

Laughing, Nyyrikki indulged her, all to happy to have the contact he'd been craving for weeks now. But, he needed to know what this meant to her. He ended the kiss with a little n** on her lower lip. He stroked his fingers down a strand of her hair.
"Does this mean," he asked, tucking the strand behind her ear, "that you'll be my ghoulfriend?" Some boils had troubles asking that question, but Nyyrikki found that it came easily. What was there too be nervous about when they ghoul in question had all but climbed on top of him? Then again, this was Danny, and that was reason enough to need confirmation.

Danny felt so special when he tucked her hair behind her ear. Never had she felt more special. Nyyrikki wasn't asking out Danny Fitzgerald, little sister to Oersted Fitzgerald- he was asking out Danny Fitzgerald, ghoul. He was her special treasure, and not even Oersted could take that from her.
"O-Of course!" she stared at him with adamant, eager eyes. Had she not made that apparent? A look of worry crossed her face, "Does this mean you're my boilfriend. It does right? Right?"
How could it not? Danny was so excited, and her shaking was finally gone. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and buried her fingers in his wiry black hair. All hers. This was all hers. Her smile was so big it could've broken her face if it wasn't fastened on.

He placed his hand on her nape and tangled his legs with hers, nodding. "Absolutely. In fact, you should call me gooey names around Roch. It'll gross him out." He laughed and pressed his forehead to hers.
"So what now, Ghoulfriend?"

Danny attempted to pout, but couldn't keep it up for very long. "Gooey names gross me out. Can I just keep my normal name please?" she pleaded. It went from a distressed pout to a rollicking giggle, and a quieter, suppressed giggle as he put his forehead on hers. They were such teenagers. Such teenagers.
The hair was all hers. The sharp, black and orange eyes were all hers. The stained hands were all hers. As her tail flicked back and forth happily, Danny snuck another kiss onto Rikki's lips. Those were hers too. She could've giggled forever like a little ghoul with happiness. It was odd, no one was ever going to see this side of Danny; not for now anyways. She was only going to be this ghouly around him.
"N-now... " Danny relented, not having thought that far ahead. "Now we be thankful that it wasn't Edel," she said it jokingly, but there was a serious undertone to her speech. Still, Danny was in a good mood; a great mood. She pressed another kiss to his lips and laughed. She had finally gotten her joyous return.
