Closed.
Mandy felt all the color drain out of her face as she heard other students start yelling about what was happening.
What? Closed? No. I-It can't be.
Amity was a boarding school. She didn't know about the others but that was a vital fact to Mandy. Amity was home. S-She didn't have anywhere else to go, certainly not back to her family. That's what coming to Amity had been about, getting far far away.
Other thoughts then started to crowd in, what of Alwine? Would her family steal her away again? And all her other friends.....
Mandy swayed before deciding the ground looked very nice indeed and crumpling down to it, eyes wide and near hyperventilating.
She'd get angry later but at the moment all Mandy could do was panic.

Feeling someone behind her Mitsu turned to see Shun there. Her eyes were full of panic. What were they going to do? If the school closed and they all had to leave she might never get to see him again. The upset was easy to see on her face. " S..Shun, they can't do this right?" It didn't seem fair. First they wanted to hide the event that had happened and now they just wanted to get rid of the school completely. Was it just one large cover up?

Willow was standing there staring at what was going on. They were to leave? Her nose wrinkled, she'd just gotten everything the way she wanted it.
Her eyes were on Arel as he seemed to be throwing a tantrum. Ears back, "I really don't see how you have the right to kick us out. I mean what about those that don't have anywhere else to go?" She was staring at the boogeymen, staying far enough away from them to be out of their reach. Though clearly butting into the conversation Arel was having with them. However, she didn't want those boogeymen in her room, not when she could track them if they entered; they wouldn't dare drag them from their dorm rooms would they?
The Byakko was trying to ignore the crowd and focus on the matter at hand but her ears kept twitching with each sound the crowd made, and suddenly they were flinching downward as Jericho gave a loud roar. She could've done without that, reaching up to rub her ear closest to him.

"Because they're Jackdammned bloody morons who don't give a s**t about our students." Cricket answered, continuing to glare daggers, though hers were obviously aimed at the Boogiemen, along with the venom in her answer to the young witch.
However, she didn't cause as big of a physical ruckus as Arel was causing right then either, her lips simply pulled tight.--- Shehk looked to Merope and shook her head. "No. It sounds like they're meaning to close down the school entirely" she said, frowning and motioning for the undead boil to come over. He'd..missed a lot, from what she could tell.

Herryk drew up to the front of the school where other students seemed to be milling around. It took him a few moments to read the sign that had been posted, but once it sank in the draugr's brows drew down in a thunderous frown. He'd just passed his exam, and now they were kicking him out of here? Closing this place down? They couldn't do that. They just ... couldn't. This place was the only home he had. "What is going on here," Herryk boomed out to nobody in particular, furious. "What is going on here, and why is the school closed? Where is everyone supposed to go?" It didn't seem like anyone had any answers, and so Herryk just kind of glared at the boogeymen, half-expecting them to answer his questions.

Glancing down at Mitsu, Shun saw the look upon her face. Between that and her question, he hesitated in his response. The boogeys had a lot of resources. Doing something like this.. was within their power he believed, as much as he hated the very thought. Though, he didn't trust that they had a legitimate reason to go through this. If anything this was likely an attempt to break apart and silence the student population so they didn't keep up with the whole Hunter deal. "..Unfortunately. Yes," he said lowly while staring hard at the two in the area. He wasn't about to lie to her and give false hope. Though he couldn't help but wonder if there was something they could do to reverse this.

A familiar voice spoke just beside him, one of Ren's ears swiveling to catch the sound. Tset had stepped up, her eyes wide and fearful, and Ren lifted his hand, squeezing her shoulder reassuringly.
"I don't know," he said darkly, eyes flicking back and forth from person to person, student to student, the teachers...
"But I'll figure something out. We'll figure something out, all of us."
There was an angry sound next to him, Natalia's head of bright blue hair clearly visible a few feet away.
"Come on," Ren murmured to Tset, and took her by the wrist, pulling her gently towards the werelemur, glaring at the bogeymen with an expression of great dislike.
"This is ridiculous."
------------------------------------------------------------------
"I guess no school today, huh?"
The voice came from somewhere behind Sparrow, twisting around to see who had spoken. An unfamiliar boil stood there, dark skinned and aquarian looking, and he seemed very...out of sorts, somehow. Not that this was unusual, considering that all of them were out of sorts right now, but this one seemed a bit more confused - at least, if his second comment was any indication.
The wolf ghoul beside him already answered the boil's question, and Sparrow nodded in agreement.
"They're forcing us out," he murmured darkly. "They're closing the school and kicking us out."

"Entirely?" Merope focused his attention on Shehk, moving closer as she beckoned to him. "You're... You're joking, right? I mean, I just got back!" Even his protest felt hollow in his ears. It was an excuse, a small protest to squeak out in dismay. Merope ran a hand through his hair, flailing momentarily as he accidentally knocked his hat off. He caught it before it hit the ground, shaking his head as he put it back on. "What exactly happened?" He glanced as a reaper chimed in, his attention focusing to Sparrow. "Seriously? If they're closing the school... Couldn't they at least rent out the dorms, you think?"

Alwine was very faint. The edges of her bandages were fading, and her ectoplasmic pumpkin (in her hands instead of in its usual crocodile purse) was dimmer than usual. She didn't say anything, just looked from one panicked student to one livid to student to those bogeymen leering above it all like some dark military. When she spotted Belladonna worriedly addressing the Nurse, and her ghoulfriend crumple like a rejected student application, she reached out and touched the shoulder of the closest one (Belladonna). She murmured a word, barely heard over all the yelling--- a whisper, in fact. It wasn't Bella's name. It wasn't Mandy's name. It was the name of something that had happened so long ago. It felt like an eternity. It was a memory that Alwine could hold onto in this time of crisis, as insignificant as it was now. "-- Krumm Car."

Well this was not good. Not good at all. In the slightest. Not an ounce of good. This was the opposite of good. This was bad. Terrible even. Israfel had a few more words to help describe the situation but he figured they were not going to come to him the longer he stared at the sign now hanging over the school. School was being shut down? That was- yeah. Yeahhhhhh. Sure he could go home to the island and get some more traditional training but as for anything new? Well, he was most certainly going to fall short. The school provided skills he otherwise might not know. He might as well have been stuck on the island if this was how the school was going to turn out. So far he’d learned how to fly here with the help of the dragon boil Jericho. He’d begun to get better at singing, (he drowned a minipet even!) to the point no one was trying to beat him up they just gave him weird looks and funny faces. The school had helped him even if it had almost killed him several times. Was that why they were shutting the school down? Because students had been subjected to near death and so much mental trauma they had nightmares of their own? That seemed possible, if not likely. Cocking his head to his side, ear wings went flat to the siren’s skull as wing shuffled uneasily. This was not how he wanted to end his school time. He wanted to graduate legit! Be a real working monster that scared humans. But if the school closed- yeah he’d be sent back to the island. His flock had only sent him to the school in desperation, if the school shut down he doubted that they would just let him go to a different school. Nope, it was island time for him. Israfel hated the thought. Both since he would have to return to his sisters, aunts, cousins… yeah he wanted to keep away from them, (besides, he was half male, he’d be chased off anyway). The end of the school also meant the end of his friendships. It was hard to stay friends when you live halfway across all of Halloween. To summarize Israfel’s thoughts on the School’s closure? THIS WAS STUPIDPouting and puffing up his feathers in protest, (silent protest that is), the monster huffed at the sign. So outrageous. Ah well, not much he could do. Boogymen were not exactly to be trifled with, and if students had been a part of the reason the school was shutting down- It was possible that they were all being punished for the actions of others. Which sucked. Was it because of the horsemen? Their rally in the bathroom and then them going with the hunters? The siren wouldn’t dismiss it. As Israfel heard Jericho’s yell, he fluttered over to the dragon’s side. “It’s probably because of that rally thing in the bathroom.” He whispered. “And you know…how we…fought those guys.” Though it was a stupid reason, it one of the only ones aside from field trips of death that he could see being a reason as to why they were shutting down the school. “I mean…after Red died and you guys did that whole cloak thing…I think we made them mad.” Them being the boogymen. “You don’t fight boogymen.”

The baku was startled when she heard another ghoul suddenly address her, and it was with wide eyes that she tore her gaze away from Arel and the bogeymen to look at Gene. "Y-yes, I'm Xiu, and you're..." She stared at the other ghoul for a moment before her eyes lit up slightly. "Miss Genevieve, right?" From groanspring!
Unfortunately, while Xiu would have ordinarily been elated to finally meet the ghoul in person, the current circumstance was not a very happy one. "There have been...incidents lately," The baku said vaguely, casting a nervous glance towards the bogeymen lest they overhear her, "And it...it's gotten to such a point that the bogeymen have decided to close to school."
Without the staff's permission, it seemed. She pressed her lips into a thin line as she listened to all the yelling. Would protesting be of any use right now, she wondered? Or...or was it too late?

Shehk drew Merope close in and whispered quietly to him; "I'll tell you somewhere where there aren't....prying ears.." she shot a look to the Boogiemen again, her eyes narrowing. Her? A public menace? Just maybe very much so.
Never the less, she seemed serious, her fur prickled up and she actually had to physically take her tail and smooth it down with her hands to keep from looking entirely aggravated by the news. Not that she'd draw more attention than the tantruming Arel.
"Basically they're out to get us because they're Jackdammned liars and don't appreciate a group of people who know the truth all being assembled in one place..."

Aksaja stared at the sign with his mouth half-open in shock. How could this be happening . . . ? What 'questionable actions' were they talking about here? I mean what the hell, really?? After he had gone through everything that he had to be able to come back here, to become a Knob and earn another year at the school from his father . . . .
Only to have the school close? This wasn't FAIR!!
"Why would they close the school?" the lightning dragon murmured, looking faintly lost.

Zar glanced around him as various other students showed up to discuss with shared outrage their dissaproval of this turn of events, asking questions in what seemed to him, an unfocused fashion. He wanted to know under what jurisdiction and authority they could do this, the regulations, the legal restrictions. He wanted to know why prospective students hadn't been informed of this incoming issue. He wished he could have a word with whoever it was who ran the offices of this place, find out what was going on.
He had no idea he was looking at them in Arel.
Still with his claws firmly sunk into the cover of his clipboard, he all but stalked to stand nearer the boogiemen, giving them a very measured look. "How high up does this order come from and why was no one informed prior to action? Will there be a reinstatement of facilities without the ..volatile element?"

Spotting movement at his side, Jericho turned to see the Siren standing by him. Israfel had a point there, but that was still stupid. That was no reason to shut down the whole damn school. "That's stupid. What we did was by our own decision. It has nothing to do with the administration of the school. And NOTHING they do will change the Jack Damn TRUTH," he growled before letting out an angry huff. Smoke had billowed out his mouth as he did so. It seemed he was on the verge of breathing fire or something like that. At the same time, he wondered what Nox had to say about all of this. As far as he was aware, that particular ToT'er was on their side. He couldn't say for certain if others were, however.
