"Its alright and you don't have to be sorry," Tori replied as she didn't want Reine to worry and it was Aklin that nudged her to at least elaborate a little on the subject. "Ummm, I really haven't told anyone this but that person was taken because she died right in front of me and ever since then I have seen shadows," she said. "Its all in the past and we have to live for the future," she added giving Reine a little smile were she did have to worry.

Tori giggled slightly at the reaction Reine gave her about her tutors. "There were times that I could choose what I read but for the most part all of the tutors I had taught what they were suppose to teach and nothing more. Sometimes it was really boring and I couldn't figure out why they were teaching it," she replied and for a part of what she learned was because of her parents to what they wanted her to learn and not what she wanted to.

Listening closely to what was being said about school, it was all so fascinating. There had been one time she had experienced school and it wasn't something that she wanted to do again, because most of the people there just wanted to use her for her parents money or to climb higher in the social ladder. "That sounds so cool and very different to what I have seen myself,"

"But that is alright any information if useful, to me it was and I have learned many new things from you," Tori replied happily with a little smile.

Reine patted Tori on the shoulder sympathetically. It was almost as if the other girl was appealing to whatever motherly instincts Reine had, and there wasn't actually much of that, so all that Reine felt was some sort of desire to stuff Tori with cookies or some other kind of treat. "You're right about that," she said solemnly. "For the future!" She raised her hand for a high-five, a grin on her face.

"I kinda wondered if it might be boring being a teacher too," she admitted. "I mean, having to repeat the same thing over and over to kids who don't really want to listen? It's kinda sad." Reine was lucky she'd had some good teachers, the type that made practically everything they said sound interesting. "But I guess they were paid to do that, anyway, so they profit.. while we waste our time." She shrugged, her eyes flicking back to the screens for a moment, before looking back at Tori.

"Our lives were so different," she mused. "And yet so similar!" Reine returned the other girl's smile- she was genuinely enjoying spending time with Tori. Yay for whoever arranged the duty schedules!

Tori did feel a little better at Reine patting her shoulder as it was a memory that has haunted her life and would still even at times she wanted to forget. She didn't mean to do that but it did feel good to let someone know what had happened in her life. "Yes for the future!" Tori replied as she raised her own hand to high-five Reine, with a smile on her face.

Thinking on what Reine said about teachers as she had never thought of it that way, but any teacher that she had gotten seamed to like what they were doing so she never thought it. "That is true and it does sound sad," she replied as there had times when she had given hell to one of her tutors because of what she didn't want to learn. "I think that your right about that one, but it seams that money does run the world. I could think of may other things that I could have done besides those lessons. But I do think at least for me it was one way of being controlled," she mussed as Tori looked at the screens quickly before turning her attentions back to Reine.

"You are right about that, but I'm glad that I met you, Reine," Tori said still smileing as she was also really enjoying her time with Reine her new friend.

"At least we're done with school and all that stuff now!" Reine wasn't sure it was a good thing, completely- learning was important to their field of work, after all, and also for her personal mental health. It felt odd to not be sitting in a class listening to a professor lecture, or spending hours poring over textbooks. At least there were still things in the lab to fiddle around with.

"I'm glad I met you too," she winked. Their chat had done her some good, as well; she didn't think she'd talked this much to anyone else in their division. Reine would probably have to remedy that, eventually- she needed to get to know her other teammates as well.

Just then, another pair of trainees entered the pod room, and on noticing the two girls, waved at them. Pod duty had gone better than she'd expected (she hadn't spent the whole time hyperventilating into a paper bag), and that was mostly thanks to Tori's presence. Standing up, Reine stretched, greeting the other trainees who'd come to take over watching the pods.

"I'll see you around then, Tori?"

“That is true and I’m glad too to be done with it as well. But do keep on reading as that is just so much fun,” she replied. She might be done with the tutors but Tori did know that she still need and wanted to learn new things if she could. She also did have to wonder what other things she could find in the labs and she thought to herself that she would just have to do some wandering around to find out.

Tori just smiled bigger with Reine winked at her as she had fun talking with Reine too and it had all been good for her in the long run with Aklin beaming at her for making a new friend. She also thought that it would be good to talk with the others of there division too outside of missions.

Hearing another pair of trainees come into the room and waved at them as she waved back to them while she stretched out her legs before standing up as duty was over for now. Tori had thought that Pod duty was going to be boring as hell but with Reine there had made it a whole lot more fun.

“Yep and you take care, Reine,”
