"I'm sorry." She said almost instantly, lowering her head like a child who'd done something terrible. "But...you'd have to wash it anyway?" Since she had every intention of playing with his hair, and since he agreed to it the moment he lead her outside. "I...I bet it's still soft, though!" Optimism, always optimism!

"Oh, I don't need a towel! Um, just...a shirt, I guess." She imagined his shirts would be long enough to cover what needed covering (CALL THIS PROGRESS she usually didn't care, but she was learning!). The sopping wet ghoul with her dirty feet followed Roch down to his room, clinging to the banister intensely. Going down stares was hard enough with her feet, but it was even worse now thanks to the mud and water!

Nnngh she did NOT think this through!

"Kay!" She called out, following him meekly into his room; by then most of the mud on her feet was tracked on both hardwood and carpet in the Reaper dorms, but she did stay in his doorway to limit the dirt she tracked into his room. Like the good ghoul she was she waited patiently for the towel - which was tossed at her without her expecting it, and thus smacked her in the face.

"Ow." It didn't really hurt, but it was a good reflex noise! So she toweled off her hair and whatever skin was showing, already starting to peel away the layers of clothing right there in the doorway (at least the door was closed?) starting with her jacket. It was folded and put down nicely, and for a moment she looked as though she were about to take off her shirt, pausing just before she could lift it any further than her diaphram.

The pause was her trying to remember if this was 'proper' or not. Hm.

OH GOOD PROBLEM SOLVED!

Amrita stripped then, right down to her undergarments. Her wet clothing was folded neatly in a pile near the door, and before she put on the shirt he got for her she made sure she was as dry as she could possibly be, up to and including towelling down her hair before wiping down her dirty feet. When she felt she was dry enough the towel was folded and put on the pile, and she finally, finally put his shirt on to cover up.

Hrm...now what?

Guess that meant it was time to sit on the floor and wait for him to be finished, then!

"Movies?" She started hesitantly. "Um...I dunno, I don't usually watch...?" She had, honestly, no idea what movies were even out there! Not a one. Her head tilted as he pulled the shirt on, looking at how tight it was on him; admittedly, that was where she zoned out. Hrm...perhaps he could get Lizzy to fix it? She was good at sewing things, so in theory she should be able to make his shirt bigger!

"Maybe it'll get bigger as you move?" Sometimes that happened to her, where her clothes would fit looser as the day progressed...no idea why. With a shrug she pulled her knees up to her chest, tucking her feet under her. "But um, whatever you wanna watch is fine by me?"

Amrita stared at him until he sat down, which was when she shuffled over to sit on her knees just slightly behind him (She didn't want to sit on the bed, ew beds) and wasted very little time in getting her patchy hands into his hair. At first she stayed quiet, listening to the music being played and occasionally watching the performance; wow he was amazing! The majority of the time though, she was focused on his purple hair, on the new cut, and...what they'd all been through. The last time she'd seen him, and only him...he was kidnapped by his own family for a trip.

"How...have you been?" She asked slowly, her voice serious.

It certainly was okay; she liked the shorter hair too! ...But she did miss the head of longer hair though. That was alright though, she could work with it. Her hands betrayed her trembling as he answered her question, but she played with his hair nonetheless, ready to explain away her shaking.

"I..." Apparently, she didn't think her question would get turned back on her, but there it was! "I don't...like it either." She admitted, still shaking and still running her fingers along his scalp. "I'm just...so tired of watching my friends die. I don't think I can keep this up...I mean, after everything big I end up useless in my room..." Where she couldn't help her friends, she couldn't be there to comfort them while the memories were still painfully fresh, and even then...she couldn't get help either, dealing with the memories on her own.

"But that's...my problem." She smiled weakly at the back of his head. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you."

"The dying isn't what scares me, it's the pain." For an Undead? Especially her? Yeah, pain was a big deal. "But...don't feel bad. In the haunted house...my team was up against five of them. Th-they nearly killed me...twice. Remi and I...we're year twos and we didn't stand a chance." Two year twos and three year ones against five hunters...and they did nothing. Next to nothing.

"I think whining is important! Gets the, um...big th--ELEPHANT! - Out of the room." Slowly her hands stilled on his hair and scalp, instead leaning forward to wrap both arms around his neck and shoulders in a slight hug. Yes, hanging out with a pal indeed. "And you call yourself a bad boil." Amrita snickered, amused.

"...OHJACKI'MSORRY!" She yelped, releasing him so fast one might think he was made of fire. The ghoul sat behind him for a moment, fidgeting with the hem of the borrowed shirt. Instead she took his arm, lifting it just enough to put it around her shoulders, and just enough to let her hug his side, cuddling up against him.

"He's really good." She mentioned off-hand, looking at the TV now.
