So by newbis, you're refering to the people who have nothing at all, then, right?
Because I know a lot of newbis that have stuff, which can count as investment.

Inflation does help quests, if you own those items and are questing for something bigger.

I do see what you're trying to say though, even though you're not very good at saying it.

But the simple fact is if it weren't for gaining interest from inflation then most quests would never be completed.
Really now, how many people do you know that has ever compleated a quest by just vendwhoring and keeping mostly pure, and I'm reffering to bigger items like early 04 to 03.

Fact of the matter is inflation DOES help every single quest on gaia. As long as you own any kind of donation item, you are gaining interest from it, there for it will help your quests.

So when looked at it that way, our two groups have the same goals (to help newbies) but just two different ways to do it.
I won't deny that we are making profit from it, but that's just an added bonus.

xp I won't deny that we want to make money, but it really does help others and not just us, after all, why should we focus on helping others so much and neglect ourselves?
Do we not also have our own little quests?
Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with deflation, if it were absolute, but it's not. older items will continue to inflate even if you can stop newer ones from inflating. Therefor if any one were to invest in those newer items in hopes of one day getting one of those older items, then you would only be hurting them by preventing it's inflation. Also don't think I didn't take notice of the fact that you have no counter points to the rest of my arguement, you don't try because there are no logical counter points to them.
