Whump! Another blow connects, making his nose run. He retreats a few steps, sneezing, shaking his head to clear it. He gives the human evil eyed glare. If he can push him out of the too-narrow confines of the alley, he might be able to save his nose some pain. He charges.

Seeing the dog prepare to charge, Ed swiftly holsters his flashlight and draws his tazer. Taka crashes into him, pushing strongly. Ed's breath wooshes out, and then he's pressing the button and jabbing the tazer towards the large shoulder, electricity sparking between the tines.

Kohl starts packing up, nonchalant. Worf watches incredulously.
Taka lets out an undignified yelp and jumps back, foiling his advance. Muscles still quivering in the aftermath of the tazer attack, he does the best he can in these circumstances, aiming several strong blows in quick succession. Rearing back to use all viable weapons, head, paws, shoulders, anything. He's less concerned about being scolded at this point and more about knocking this vile human to the ground.

Ed sways from side to side, using his nightstick to redirect a few blows. When Taka stops attacking, Ed is unharmed. He aims another smart blow at Taka's poor nose.

Taka jerks back his head just in time and wrinkles his lip, before pushing forward again, snaping, butting, and lashing out, trying to make the most of the limited room to catch the Officer off guard.
Kohl secures the ties on the bedroll and waits.

Ed isn't quite as sucessful at dodging this time, and one blow makes his breath whoosh out in an undignified huff. Ed attempts to return the favor with an upward strike aimed at the soft spot underneath the jaw.

Ed grunted as Taka's attack hit, then rallied with the stubbornness that led him to get into a pokemon battle without a pokemon in the first place. "I am not putting up with anymore sass from you boy! Lay down!" Ed commanded, "encouraging" the Arcanine to obey with a sharp smack to the already sore nose.

How..indecent. Taka sways on unsteady legs and collapses with a great puff of ember laden breath. KO.
Kohl vaults over the fallen dog, getting into one of the saddlebags, still attached to the unconscious Taka, and rummages until she finds a dusty, beat up ball and recalls the fainted pokemon. ""Looks like it wasn't broken after all." Kohl says with a smile, and strolls out of the alley.

Ed sighed. Well, getting her up and out of the alley had been his primary goal. He could chase after her, but, well, fighting a pokemon hurt, and she still had another one. And she's headed towards the Pokemon Center now. So instead, he shrugs, holsters his nightstick, and resumes his patrol. No sense in getting himself more beat up when he already got the result he wants, and he certainly wasn't going to keep her in the drunk tank overnight. The paperwork...no, best to let her go about her business.
