Paralyze HIM?? Bell was, once again, extremely offended by the annoying murkrow's trainer. But she was hit by the thunderbolt and she felt her muscles stiffen. She was paralyzed.
But she wouldn't let that stop her if she could help it!
She tried to use another focus punch.

Even though the attack was successful the stubborn delibird pushed the status change to the side as if it were nothing. Grinding her teeth together River could sense that Silo was getting closer and closer to his breaking limit. There was no shame in it though, he was trying his hardest against the wild pokemon which was proving itself and its strength to the doubtful trainer.

Bell staggered under the next heat wave and felt a sudden, overwhelming exhaustion. No! She had almost had him! But black spots swam in her vision, and she could barely keep her lids open.
But she wouldn't allow herself to be captured!
Summoning the last of her dwindling strength, Bell fled ingloriously into the undergrowth to find a safer place to succumb to unconsciousness.

“That is it, way to go Silo!” Slender hands fumbled with the empty pokeballs on her belt loop, she was gonna capture it! She knew it! Plucking the red and white device from her hip River readied herself and prepared to throw the capture device.
Flapping wildly and puffing his chest up the Murkrow practically strutted around in a wide circle as if showing off. Yeah he knew he had this handled, after all he was the best and would make a wonderful father to their eggs one day.
A flash of red disappearing into the tall grasses instantly drew a slue of heated obscenities to spring forth from the trainer’s soft pink lips. “Oh no! It got away! Son of a---- baaaah! Come here Silo, I need a hug.” Opening her arms River openly pouted, squealing with delight the sizable murkrow bounced on his clawed feet then sprang forward and enveloped his beloved human with his wings. Nipping sweetly at her crimson tresses and neck Silo crooned lovingly at the girl then settled into her slender arms. “You did really good baby boy. Come on, lets keep on moving. Maybe we will see that chubby delibird again.”
