Mac waited with a bated breath to find out what this 'seducing' thing meant to her. He had figured that shy girls thought it meant something entirely, and he'd already filled up his 'do stupid s**t' quota for the month. She...had been learning from Aksaja? Who the jack was Aksaja, and why was she practicing with him? ...How did she practice with him?
He felt the hands on his face, he saw her lean up towards him, but...why didn't he lean down to meet her? He'd never really passed up an opportunity to kiss a pretty ghoul before...this was strange. Was he trying to see what she'd do? How she'd do it? Perhaps. Was he still not used to any other ghoul being this affectionate towards him? More than likely. Black eyes watched her get closer and closer, until...
...His chin, really? Really?!
It was very, very hard to not groan out loud.
Why?
Why was it always the shy and naive ones? Why? If he dated this ghoul, it'd be just like dating Lizzy all over again, right from square one; the shy ghoul, the lack of experience (which wasn't a downfall at all, really!), how sweet she was...just, he hadn't made this ghoul cry. Not once, not a single time.
"Amphi." He said first, slowly relaxing his hold on her to just rest his hands on the curve of her waist, drawing her closer against him. "I'm not...a very good scareling. I'm not...really patient, and I can be real heartless sometimes." It was good to warn her, right? Even though this resounded with something he'd said once before, to someone to meant a lot to him, he said it anyway. As he spoke he leaned in, until his lips were dangerously close to hers.
"Are you sure you want to try...?"

She was quite pleased with herself for being able to at LEAST that. A kiss was a kiss is a kiss, Plus she had never done that with another boil had she! Not even Aksaja who had been her somewhat mentor in learning to deal with people even being close to her. But what she felt around Aksaja and what she felt for Mac we're different, at least to her.
Because she liked Aksaja, he had been really nice and understanding. Mac on the other hand, he was a flirt and he made her laugh even when she was embarrassed.
His hands slipped down her waist, pulling her closer and Amphi was pretty sure they had been close before, now it seemed more alluring....more enticing if you would. His face is so close.
She watched his eye's as he spoke, warning her before she cocked her head. How did she respond to his honest? With her own? Her eyes continued to search his, if he was worried about this, should she bury what she felt at the moment and walk away?
"I...." She looked down before looking up again, "I will take your warning under consideration." She murmured quietly as his lips hovered over hers. Her face was red, her body was trying to angle away, due to the sheer amount of breaking personal boundaries but...this was to be expected, so she would learn to deal. Her hand again went to his cheek as she took a deep breath. Her first real kiss, she thought as she closed her eyes and finished the space in between them.
Um...Umm...Was she doing this right?

"Good." He insisted, keeping his gaze on her as she mulled over what she was going to do. Not once did he let her go, hellbent on keeping his hands on her waist until she actually told him to let her go; she could attempt to angle away all she wanted, but he resisted. The space between them closed and Mac leaned into that shy kiss, patient enough to help ease her into something less first-time awkward. His kisses by contrast were lazy and slow, but it seemed to work for him considering who his company was.
He liked kissing, he really did; Amphi was still new at it, but her lips were still so soft, so inviting. She was everything that he liked; short, shy, water-oriented, sweet, pretty...and yet it still didn't feel right. There was something missing, something wrong, something...he knew he could place. The ghoul in his arms was a good fit, but...Amphi wasn't Lizzy. Not by a long shot.
Even if he wanted to try to win her back, she probably wouldn't have him; he did say such cruel things to her, after all. No, he had to forget about Lizzy. Suddenly, he couldn't bring himself to continue these kisses any longer, but he had enough sense to not just stop abruptly, so they stopped slowly, the last one lingering for a moment or two.
"So...what now?" He asked her softly, leaning his forehead against hers, his black eyes closed as he tried to work through the turmoil in his head. No matter how much he wanted Lizzy, he couldn't have her anymore, he'd seen to that. But this ghoul, this sweet ghoul, maybe, just maybe, she was what he needed.

She had stop her wiggling to escape for now, enjoying for once (regardless of uncomfy personal space) that she was in the arms of a boil and that he was returning her feelings of liking each other (He did like her right?). Since this was a first for her though, she wasn't sure just what it entitled her too.
His kiss back had been gentle and slow as he kept a easy grip on her, He didn't press her, didn't pull back and let her explore. At first she though she was doing something wrong but, falling into the rhythm of it had been easy enough. Her hands stayed on his cheek as they slowly pulled away and she opened her blue eyes to his black.
Her blush though, returned full paced as reality crashed in again and she fretted over her first kiss. Her eyes briefly closed again as he rested his forehead on hers before moving her hands back to his chest and resting them there.
"I suppose..." She licked her lips as she tried to think of what to do next, jack dammit why didn't her sister's tell her how to deal with a boil. "Well I am new to this..so...um..." She blushed again before tilting her head up, "Do...Do we go on dates? Or..." Now she was really fretting, "Is...there something that you want me to do? Or Do I need to do anything or um..."
There was also the matter of the boil needing to see her natural form. He might like her land walker legs but....would he like her tail too? "And....And how do you feel about swimming and water?"

Dates. He barely went on dates with Lizzy! In reality he was a terrible boilfriend, preferring to stay in or just do the things he wanted to do...yup, terrible. Her little question was a loaded one; something he wanted her to do? Did she need to do anything? Oh Amphi...ooh Amphi. A lot of things ran through Mac's mind, and there was only a handful of them that weren't horrendously dirty! It took him a moment to answer, instead swallowing hard as though it would flush the completely devilish suggestions that threatened to spill out.
"Err...N-not, uh, right now? I guess? I just...I don't know." Mac's posture deflated a little bit, leaning a little more against her. "Just...do whatever comes naturally?" He suggested, finding that to be the most innocent thing he could say in response.
"I love swimming, I love water, Lizzy didn't---" Like the water, he finished mentally. "Uh, sorry..." Saying her name, the name of his Ex, brought a sigh to his lips, one he felt the need to rectify a moment later by stealing another gentle kiss from her lips. So far everything he did with Amphi only made him think of Lizzy; the way he held her, the way she felt against his chest, the way he kissed her...everything. It wasn't fait to Amphi, it just wasn't.
"Listen, Amphi..." He started, leaning his head back enough to bring her pretty face in to focus. "I like you, I really do; you're a very sweet ghoul, but Lizzy..." This time the name came with a small flinch. "We didn't break up not too long ago...everything still kind of hurts." He admitted, though it certainly pained him to. "I think I just...need a little bit to get used to it being done, you know?" Though it was unlikely she would, given what he knew of her and her general naivete. "So...I'd still love to take you out on a date, or go swimming, or hold you, or kiss you if you wanted to, but...can we just...avoid putting a title on this for now?" Mac didn't want to be a 'boilfriend' so soon. At least as a labeled name. The actions he could go through, but the title itself left him feeling rather raw.

She watched his expression at her question as he looked like he was internally debating something, as if she had offered words that may or may not entice something a little more perverted.
"O...Okay." She nodded as he seemed to deflate, though, he seemed to encase her closer instead of pushing her away. Though she had no idea that he was thinking about Lizzy still, and in doing so, comparing her to Lizzy as well. "That...sounds easy enough." She smiled softly up at him, a little less red now.
"Oh do you! That's good! We should go swimming sometime!" She seemed to light up naturally at the mention of swimming and doing it together. "We should defenitly go then." She nodded before quieting down. He seemed so sad when he mentioned the girl, but she didn't even get a moment to process it when he stole another kiss from her, another rise in her cheeks. She had to get use to it didn't she?
She looked up, a little dazed as he spoke to her before looking down. She could be fine for that, couldn't she? She didn't want to pressure him and...something inside her only wanted to comfort him. "I think I can understand..." Maybe. "No title's, but I am here for you so..." She blushed at his words before looking down, "I like kissing you too and being held. So we'll just....take it a step at a time." She nodded before pulling back, blue eye's up to his. She kinda felt a little apprehension, a little confusion because this was her first....for anything. But...If Mac was happy with that then...she could be too. "So....How come you like swimming? You don't strike me as...as a water based....Reaper?" Where had that come from? Was she in a way attempting to turn the conversation away from hurtful things? Probably. For both her and Mac, she didn't want to think...What if i can't compare to Lizzy, What if I just constantly remind him of her? She was not ready for that on top of figuring out her liking Mac too. Way to much for her little brain to handle in a night.

"Yeah...one step at a time..." Mac agreed half-heartedly. He didn't need another take it slow type, it would really only remind him more of Lizzy than ever. She had agreed that she liked being held and kissed, so hold her he did, his thumbs brushing idly against her stomach. No matter what he did, no matter how he did it, he could only look down into those pretty blue eyes and see red.
"I want to be a ferryman when I get out of school." He informed her as though it were the most obvious thing in the world. "But I've always loved to swim." A hand slipped away from her waist, gently taking her hand and slowly lifting it above her head. With a little smile he urged her to do a little spin for him, never breaking contact. When he stopped moving her she was facing away from him.
"And you...smell like water." His voice was soft, his arms wrapping around her middle, pulling her back against his chest. This was comfortable, very comfortable...plus it stopped her from seeing any more guilty faces he could pull off, while keeping her close. "So...what do you want to do now?" He asked, bowing his head over her shoulder.

She didn't know why it felt so odd...It didn't feel like all of Mac was with her but....he had said that he was just getting over Lizzy. One step at a time. She would do her best to meet his demands, regardless....even....even if it meant more kisses and touching and stuff. Her face flushed at the thought.
Her interest piked though at the mention of his future job before smiling. "To carry the souls of the fallen across the river of woe." She quoted the mysteriousness of the ferrymen she knew to him. If there was one thing a mermaid knew, especially the ones descended from a greek god, it was the ferryman of Acheron(Woe) and Styx. "That is a most admirable goal...." She blushed again, looking down as their hands laced and he pulled her out for a twirl. Her face briefly met his, just for a moment before she laughed at the small turn.
When they stopped, her back was neatly pressed into his chest. "I do...?" She didn't know that she herself did, but since she was constantly engrossed in it, she had no doubts that she may carry the scent of her home. "It's a nice smell....very nice and calming." She pined for her home now, for the cool laps of water that would shift her from a Ghoul to a mermaid. Without looking at his face, she idly played with his hands that rested around her middle, tracing a pattern over them. Her flush had fainted to a faint pinkning of the cheeks.
"I want to stay but.............." Her shoulders slump, "I've been gone from water for a good amount of time...." Her body wiggled in his arms before looking up and over to his face. "If...If you'd like...." Her words tumbled together as she attempted to think of a way to ask him without sound totally clueless, "Um....maybe....we...could...go...tomorrow...together...." Her voice had trailed off quietly as she wiggled in his arms again.

"That's right~!" Mac beamed at her little quote, but the smile faded as they tended to do; he liked this, the feel of a ghoul pressed against him...but he couldn't get passed the feeling that this was wrong, that the ghoul he had in his arms wasn't the right one. "Well thank you~" He murmured, and then nodded. "It's...a very nice smell." It wasn't the right one, but it was a nice one.
"Alright." If she had to go, she had to go. The wiggling she did in his arms made him loosen his grasp, holding her sides gently enough to turn her to face him again. There was a little smile on his lips, but there was something about it that wasn't completely genuine. "Tomorrow, lets go swimming." He suggested, finding her attempts at asking him amusing. "I'll go find you after class tomorrow...If that's okay." For a moment he looked like he was going to lean in and kiss her, but instead he just let his hands slide from her waist, resting them back against the desk behind him.

She cocked her head as he let her go, resting his hands on the desk before nodding.
She didn't feel confident as she gave his hand one last squeeze before smiling up at him. "That would be wonderful Mac." She flushed again, "I'll....see you tomorrow then." To her, that was nice to see. To see him again tomorrow, it made her heart swell with happiness.
]"After class tomorrow then!" She said as she exited. Once she left the room though, her hand covered her mouth and she left in thoughts. The most conflicting is...her first kiss...and to what she was for Mac.
And the last was...She wanted to talk to someone. A specific someone.
So she would find Lizzy. And talk to her. She knew Mac the best and she hoped...that the girl ended on good terms with Mac, especially since they both seemed to have called each other close friends that she could ask the girl about kissing Mac....
She was in bliss, regardless of doubts and the foreboding of the future had to bring and left the Reaper dorms with a smile.
