Holding a hand to her mouth, the sun hunter continued to wave the smoke away from her face. If she was going to vomit or anything after this, she was going to cry. :Get a hold of yourself! A little gas is nothing!: A little, maybe..but have to seen how much is pouring out of that weapon?? I wouldn't be surprised if I was about to puke out my spine or something! Thankfully, she didn't think that would happen..would it? Oh God..she hoped not!
"Its--" She coughed loudly "--fine. Er..sorry, did I clip you?" Why they were apologizing in the middle of a spar, was a mystery..but it was obviously irritating the hunter's weapon, as she could hear a rather large sigh in the back of her mind.

To be honest, Wilson had never decided to test the gas on himself. Gramps had obviously warned him to put on his mask multiple times and had the fortunate experience of never being subjected to his weapon’s own poison. The bad side? He didn’t know Jack about what the gas did. Wilson knew it made people cough. The few others he had already sparred with attested to that. Side effects or anything else? He had no clue.
Maybe he should fix this someday.
Someday. Maybe.
Wilson shook his head furiously. “No, well, you did, but it’s okay! Nothing too painful.” Yet. It was almost like he could feel his partner rolling his eyes as the cannons released even more gas.

"Sorr-" Was all she got out.
Trying her best to steady her breathing, she lifted her arm to cover her mouth, in hopes that would be the last of the gas she would be inhaling. Not that it would do much. As soon as she moved she would be breathing it in again, what with the area slowly filling with the gas.
Maybe if she shot at the weapon itself, it would malfunction and cease to release anymore of its contents? Aiming her weapon, she fired one shot at Wilson's weapon. Sorry, gramps. That was what he called his weapon..right?

It seemed Kat was right.
The shot wasn’t the strongest attack, but it wasn’t weak either. It was just right, Wilson supposed. He couldn’t tell, especially not from Gramps’ furious neighing and storming raging on in his mind. While the trainee had been slowly growing used to the partner’s rants, it would still take some time to get used to when fighting. He brought both arms up, nearly smacking himself with the blades of his cannon as he tried to quell the incoming headache. He really couldn’t care about the fact that his weapon was temporarily malfunctioning from the sudden energy.
“Okay, Gramps. Stop—Please—Hey!”

Damage: 0 (And after all these months you finally miss your charge for the 1st time I'm so proud)

By now, Kat was about to keel over. She had inhaled too much of this toxic gas, and she swore she was going to lose it if she didn't do something soon.
She moved to take a step forward but nearly face planted onto the ground--would have if she hadn't caught herself. Keeping a hand over mouth, she was too blurry eyed to even see anything in front of her now, and would be lucky if she didn't shoot herself in the foot--she nearly did!
HP: 22

Charge: 3/3 (fdsfj was going to use this this round. NEXT TIME MAYBE LOL)

Wilson leaned over slightly as Kat covered her mouth with one hand. “Kat, are you okay?” he asked softly. No, Wilson, she was just feeling peachy keen right now. The trainee nearly jumped as he heard a shot ring out. Out of panic he raised both of his arms and his cannon spewed out another cloud of gas. It was only when he didn’t feel any bad did his consciousness realize that Kat had actually missed.
Oh. Well. That was uh, erm, oops.

She didn't see Wilson approach, but she did know that the gas was too much by now. Hearing Wilson speak, she raised a hand to stop his advance. Without answering, Kat set off an explosive round from her hand guns. It was enough force to knock Wilson back, but not to harm him. "I think..I'm done." Laying sprawled on the ground, she refused to get up in fear that she might vomit. She felt queasy enough already.
HP: 0
Damage: 15 to self
Charge: It killed her
(( ahah Kat blew herself up lolol ))

Wilson jumped back at the explosive charge from the guns, his arms and legs spread apart. W-Woah…! Guns didn’t normally do that. He stared at Kat for a few seconds, still in mild shock from the attack before he shook his head and came to his senses. “Ah, right! Um.” He waved away the last remnants of gas before taking off his mask and desummoning his weapon. “Do you need me to take you to the infirmary or something?” Wilson asked as he knelt down beside her.

Thankful that the last of the gas was quickly cleared up, thanks to Wilson waving it off, Kat moved to sit up, but quickly gave up the idea. Holding a hand to her mouth, she instead rolled to her side, trying to keep any previous meals down. "Oh my gawd..if this is what your enemies must deal with every time you fight something, then I pity them."
Half grinning, she shook her head when he asked if she needed assistance, "No, that's okay, I.." then paused. "Ugh..maybe." Curse his damned weapon, Gramps and his gas! "Your weapon..is evil." She was half serious when she said this.

Wilson placed the goggles around his neck and laughed uneasily. “Since the enemy isn’t going to be exactly human I don’t have a lot of pity,” he said with a helpless smile. He half-reached out to Kat, paused, and then laughed again as he moved to hoist her back onto her feet. “I’m sorry about that, but Gramps is going to take that as a compliment.” He could feel the catoblepas smirking in his mind.
“Anyways, let’s go to the infirmary or something, alright?”
