"This isn't working..." Chloe mumbled to herself, "Ok, we'll try this then! Bandit, use Pursuit!"
Pursuit? Chloe had never ordered him to use that one before, but then again, he had never battled a psychic pokemon before. He continued moving around as best he could to avoid the painful ground attack, but despite the paralysis inflicted on his opponent she still seemed able to hit him.
"Bli!" He cried as he suddenly gained a burst of speed and he ran straight for his target, dark energy pulsing through him as he did so.

((Daaaang! xD Okay, so that's 150 for super effective, then 300 for critical hit, right?))
Shadow Mew winced as Bandit managed to hit her dead on, nearly knocking her out of the air. She quickly backed up several feet to give herself some distance from the other pokemon, panting to catch her breath.
"Hang in there, Shadow!" Zinnia cried. It seemed that she had to be more careful! "Use Earth Power again!"
The ground began to erupt once more; the field was becoming quite chaotic.

"That's good!" Chloe cheered, "Keep it up, you can do it!" She was concerned about him taking so many ground type attacks, but he seemed determined. Still, he knew what to do if he got into trouble.
Aha, even better than that Thunderbolt! Bandit ran about some more, trying to position himself so that he could get another good hit before launching himself at the Mew again, the same dark energy pulsing through him.

"Finish him off with an Earth Power!" Zinnia called. They had to wrap this up quickly; those Pursuits could get dangerous!
Shadow Mew shook off the dark attack and caused the ground to rumble once more. She was already feeling tired from the fight, but Bandit couldn't last too much longer, could he? The important thing was to keep going.

"Bandit!" She cried. She knew he couldn't take much more of this... She had promised she wouldn't take him out of a battle unless he wanted her to though, and he knew how to get out of it if he wanted... She hoped he would.
The adrenaline rush from that hit had worn off sooner than he thought, and the intense pain from each Earth Power was starting to affect him again. "Bli..." He let out a faint cry and knew what he had to do, as much as he didn't want to. "Bli!" He suddenly surged forward with blinding speed, surrounded by sparks and moving with greater agility than he had in ages. He ran around so that the Mew was positioned between himself and Chloe and he charged, returning to his pokeball after racing past his opponent, unsure if he had landed the hit first or not.
"Lapras!" Shimmer cried as she was suddenly released from her ball onto the ground, "La la!"

Zinnia's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden appearance of the strange-looking lapras. She had never battled against a lapras before, but weren't they supposed to be blue? Then again, her own pokemon were a bit unusua. She couldn't let it distract her!
"Hang in there, Shadow!" she called. "Use Drain Punch!"
Shadow Mew shook off the electric attack, then balled one of her paws into a fist. It glowed faintly as she suddenly zoomed at her new opponent, ready to deliver a knockout blow.

((Oops, I did her HP wrong. Electric is only 100 damage, so she would be at 450 HP. But then her attack did 300 damage, so that's plus 150, so she should have 600 before you attack, right?))

"Look out!" Chloe cried, more out of reflex than anything as she knew that Shimmer probably couldn't get out of the way very well if she wanted to. "Signal Beam!"
Shimmer cried out in pain as the move made contact, draining some of her own energy in the process. What nerve this little thing had! She didn't care if it was the legendary Mew, she intended to make it pay for that hit. She opened her mouth wide and let out a high pitched cry as the multicolored beam shot from her mouth at the Mew.

Shadow Mew pinned her ears back against the irritating cry, but the damage was done; she seemed to stumble in mid-air, but the strength that she had stolen held her up.
"Drain punch again!" Zinnia called.
Shadow clenched her paw and flew forward once more.

((Shadow's HP should be at 375 + 25% of 150 (18.something, call it 19?) before the attack in this post, if my math is right. Her HP should have been at 450 after the Volt Switch, then gained 75 HP from the Drain Punch bumping her up to 525, and then she lost 150 from Signal Beam *nods* So her total HP should be... 394-damage from this?))
Chloe could only watch as her precious Shimmer was hit once more by the fighting move, "Keep on going with your Signal Beam!" She urged, "Take her down!"
Shimmer grunted as she was hit again, but not as hard this time. She repeated the attack from before, eager to get this punchy creature out of the battle.

25% of 150 is 37.5. She was at 450 when Shimmer came in. Then super effective drain punch is 25% of 300, which is 75, so she had 525. Then signal beam left her at 375. Then she used drain punch, so she had 412.5 (adding 37.5). So she has 262.5 before this attack.))
"Keep punching her!" Zinnia called. Poor Shadow was taking quite a beating, but they had to win the battle!
Shadow, feeling like she was going to develop a headache from that lapras's signal beam, zoomed forward once more to sock her in the face. The attack was rather unconventional, but it was the best way for her to remain conscious.

Shimmer obeyed, though she wasn't a fan of taking orders from Chloe, she really was getting annoyed at all this punching business. She let loose yet another beam, hoping that she'd take this nuisance down soon.

She was definitely drooping by then, her ears wringing from the bug attack. She was ready to go out with a bang, though, so she flew as fast as she could toward shimmer, ready to give her another bang to the head.

Shimmer wasn't sure how much more of this she could take, but she had to do her best, if only for the sake of spite. She continued letting out the cry with the brilliantly colored beam along with it, concentrating on trying to get a good hit on her with it.
