Amenophis knew that she was trying to get things back on the happy side but he just couldn't help the nagging feeling that was eating at him. "It doesn't matter." He was just in a rather nasty mood and he didn't want to bother Amira with it but he knew it would eventually. He hoped that with the walk, it would make the day a better one. "But to make things a little more adventurous why don't we go to the..." He paused for a moment and thought about it before he made up his mind. "Left?" He phrased it as more of a question so if Amira wanted to instead go to the right, he wouldn't be upset with her.

Amira cold tell that her mate was still a bit depressed, and she didn't want that. She walked closer to Amenophis and nuzzled him a bit more, in hopes that he would cheer up. "Left is fine with me, if you are sure," she said, "Just remember that you have to protect me if anything jumps out." She giggled as she continued, "After all, you did pick the path!" AMira hated to see her mate depressed, so anything that coudl cheer his mood, she would try.

Amenophis grinned at Amira with all his charm that he possessed. "I'll protect you with everything I have, all while being handsome too!" He proclaimed it as loud as possible so that anything within hearing distance would understand he meant business but he was also messing with her. "Honestly though my dear Amira, I do not understand it all, it is as though your nightmares are not that at all but maybe a curse. I am rather smart but my memory is not as it should be, not even close. That concerns me a great deal and I worry about our future quite often." He spoke the words in a normal tone but he looked at her, he knew that was probably a lot for him to say for the day even for the moment but he felt like he had to get how he really felt out in the open. "I really don't want to lose you because you have become my sense of happiness." As he said the words he walked over to her and nuzzled her gently. He cared a great deal about her and couldn't see his life without her for more reasons than he could keep track of, she was everything to him and maybe even more.

ImAHarumiBunny I am SOOOO Sorry.... I hadn't realized that was tagged...
Amira wanted nothing but to lighten the mood again. They had shared so many rough times, and the mention of her nightmares was constant pain for the two of them. She knew her mated wanted nothing but to protect her from them, but right now there was nothing they could do. Amira decided that they needed to adventure, to find something to divert their attention, so once again, she made light of his decision... "What made you decide left anyway?"
