Waiting quietly Mitsu had propped herself up in Shun's bed, tired eyes a little zoned out as she kept trying to change her train of thought. It was difficult because no matter what she did it always went back to the same subject. Their failure, the fire, the look in the horseman's eyes. That utter disappointment in them all.

There was a light sigh before Mitsu finally spoke up. "Xiu's here." She said, her ears twitching as she picked up the ghoul's light footsteps outside. A few seconds later and she had knocked to indicate that Mitsu was right.

The baku smiled, shaking her head at the thanks. "Always here to help." She answered simply as she slipped into the room. Her gaze immediately focused on Mitsu and she made her way towards her friend, ears drooping slightly. Poor Mitsu. Just when some of the students had just been recovering from the events of the field trip, their nightmares end up coming back full force because of this new incident. Xiu had been struggling with sleep lately as well, not so much because of nightmares though, rather than the fact she just couldn't stop thinking (or rather, fretting) about what was going to help.

She reached down to take one of Mitsu's hands, looking the ghoul seriously in the eyes. "Please tell me what's wrong. I can try to help you with lucid dreaming training, but..." It was for her own benefit as well--it helped her to know just what kind of dream she was jumping into. At least then she could brace herself.

Nodding to Xiu, Shun moved back towards the bed to sit down next to Mitsu, listening as she explained some of her dreams to the other girl. Though, when she trailed off, he looked more towards her, wondering what else she was going to say here.

"It's alright. You can say it. We won't tell anyone," he reassured. He didn't know what she was going to say, but he figured it would be good if they knew. Or rather, if Xiu knew.

The reaper placed his hand over hers, taking it in the meantime.

Already she was nervous. It wasn't just a simple instruction, they wanted her to sleep. Dream diving? That was possible? "W..well." Mitsu swallowed hard diverting her eyes as she tried to think of how to explain.

"W..when the Hunter spoke to us in the woods. Y..you remember what he said?" She waited to see if they remembered the time when he had congratulated them on killing Red before she continued. "A..and then what Invictus said?"

After a deep breath the lycan continued. "In my dream....I'm surrounded by people in red cloaks. Hunters. But...they aren't there to kill me. Not like in the other dreams. I'm....one of them. I look over and see the scythe in my hand that killed red and...." She trailed off again unable to admit she felt like it was her fault. Shun would probably scold her even if it was a dream. It didn't keep her ears from drooping in shame though, knowing she shouldn't let what they said bother her so much...but it did.

She...she was one of the hunters in her dreams? Xiu immediately frowned, reaching out to take the hand that Shun wasn't holding and giving it another squeeze. "Aniki is right--this isn't your fault. We...we all could have been stronger. I don't think I ever felt so useless until I was stuck in that net and had to watch everyone get caught." As much as she had struggled, clawed, and kicked, she hadn't been able to get the net off.

"Those Hunters, Mitsu." Her jaw tightened, "They're violent, they're cruel--you are nothing like them. And...and you weren't the only one to attack Red." Xiu knew for a fact that she had, at one point, landed a hit on their professor. She felt guilty now, but at the same time...

Halloween had played a part in Red's death, but in her eyes? That part was much smaller than the role that the Hunters had fulfilled.

At least Xiu agreed with him. Though, still, Shun was glancing away for the time being. When Mitsu spoke up again, he looked back up. He hadn't personally attacked Red either, but he didn't really help with her situation.

"I guess that just leaves the dream work now," the reaper said while eyeing the tea. It was too bad he couldn't visit Mitsu's dream as well. He wanted to help. But he'd have to leave this in Xiu's hands. He was sure she would be able to help her anyway.

Looking back up at the wolfgirl, he placed a hand onto her shoulder.

"I'll be right here."

Once the tea was poured Mitsu took it not entirely sure what it was supposed to do. She hadn't woken up that long ago. Was it just supposed to help her relax to sleep?

Knowing that Xiu would be there helped a little though Mitsu was still leery. What would happen to Xiu if she got caught up in her dream. Holding the cup steadily she looked down at the pale liquid before finally nodding. "I..I guess so."

Slowly she brought the cup to her mouth and had a sip. It had a strange taste to it, not something that Mitsu was accustomed to when drinking tea. Still she tipped the cup further back draining it before setting it aside and waiting. And waiting........and waiting. Was it really doing anything? Mitsu certainly didn't feel any different.

It seemed like a few minutes passed as the ghoul just sat there, curiously looking at Xiu and then back to Shun. "I..I don't know if the tea-" Her words cut short as her face went suddenly blank. It was like she had been knocked out all of a sudden her eyes closing as her body slumped sideways to land on the bed. She was out cold.

...No. No, that was not supposed to happen like that, but she supposed it didn't matter that much anyways--in the end, the tea had worked. She nodding to Shun as she sat down up against the wall, knees pulled to her chest. It wasn't going to be a very comfortable position to sleep in, but considering how she was going to be flung in and out of Mitsu's dream anyways, it probably didn't matter much.

"If things seem to get especially bad, wake Mitsu up, okay?" Hopefully it wouldn't get to that point, but as a precaution, it was important to note.

Closing her eyes, Xiu focused on finding her way into Mitsu's dream. Hopefully she would be able to do something for her friend.
