Immediate regret replaced his worry as he reeled back from the punch, holding his cheek. Little flashes of light pulsed at the corner of his vision just above the place he'd been struck. Well, she obviously wasn't taking it easy on him now.
It was growing more and more difficult for him to keep his cool. She'd hit his face. He liked his face.
With a growl, he lunged forward, attempting to bite her. They luckily avoided an awkward situation as his teeth missed their mark; the damage was done, instead, by his elbow clipping her on his way back around.

Perhaps the slap really had been a fluke as Savior didn't attack again, instead watching the little puppy come charging at her. When it looked like he was going to use his teeth she dodged, but she didn't make it back in time to attack.
Instead her leg (she wanted to kick) went over his head and missed him entirely. By a long shot.

After Savior's leg made a perfect arc over his head, Thackery could only stare in awe. Maybe it hadn't hit him, but he was still extremely impressed. What a kick...!
"Woah, woah!" He interrupted his own thoughts, eyes still glimmering with admiration. "We can kick too?!" It made sense, now that he thought about it. Why hadn't he thought of that before?
He had to try this out. The boil did his best to manage his own kick attack, but it fell short. Very short.

So the little puppy wanted to try doing kicks, did he? Savior chuckled from beneath her mask as she was more than happy to show Thackey how to do a kick, and kick she did.
Her leg gave a slow and low sweep that caught the little boil behind the leg, her foot arching up at the last moment to trip him down.

Thackery yelped as he fell gracelessly to the ground, gasping to try to regain the air that was knocked out of him. Lying prone on the gym floor, and looking up at his opponent-
oh sweet Hades
He scrambled to his feet and began removing the scarf around his waist, gaze turned away from her. When the knot was undone and the pin clasping it together was removed, he clumsily made an attempt to tie it around the other student in a terrible, makeshift dress.
"Oh, oh, you need this, you need clothes, you need...!"
He accidentally jabbed her with the pin in his haste to "help" her.

Wait did he just...poke her with something? While trying to dress her or something? Savior was in little concern over her physical appearance and therefore had forgotten she was next to nude - all her other opponents hadn't seemed to mind so much. She watched the little puppy run around her and get her dressed, a nice gesture really, but when he was done she placed a hand on his head and shoved him back.
This was a fight. Clothes could come later.

Thankfully, it appeared as if he'd had time to (mostly) finish her outfit, if it could be called such a thing. He regained his balance from the shove and put on his intimidating game face again, which wasn't intimidating at all.
"Well, um. You're welcome!" He leaned over and gave her a little push too. He was so badass.

As a show of thanks for fixing her outfit, Savior proceeded to knock Thackery against the leg with her foot, the motion slight and brief but enough to do some damage.
If he still wanted to know how to kick she would show him how to kick.

Thackery did, indeed, still want to learn how to kick. He wasn't too good at using his back legs - well, just his regular legs, in this form - for anything other than walking, and Savior appeared to know exactly what she was doing as far as the art of "looking awesome while kicking" went, so he tried to follow her lead.
He stood a little closer before he kicked out his leg this time, but it still wasn't very effective, clipping somewhere around her ankle. The sole of his shoe scraping against her rough skin probably did more damage than the actual kick had.

Savior....just noticed that Thackery had something on his feet and she paused to look at them instead. She clearly was distracted enough that she forgot to attack, but that quickly passed and she pushed the puppy back again with her foot.
This was becoming like a game.

The corner of Thackery's mouth tugged up in what might have been a snarl if he actually appeared frightening. Instead, he looked like he might have smelled something gross. Pushing him back was even more infuriating than actually being hit!
He picked his foot up and gave her a little prod with his toe. For good measure, he gave her a second prod with his toe. There.

If they were now playing at toe pokes it was a shame for Thackery because Savior had claws on the end of her toes instead of normal toenails. that meant when she kicked back this time she stabbed him in the leg.

This was quickly degenerating into some sort of schoolyard kickfight. For the sake of Thackery's surely spotless image, he hoped that nobody was watching. But this was war. This was exactly what war was.
He jabbed back with his toe, harder this time, intending to match the ouch-level of her pointy toe sinking into his leg.

If this really was going to be a kicking match then Savior certainly needed to try harder since really all she was doing was pushing Thackery back and further away with each little shove of her foot.
At least she wasn't stabbing him with her toes.

Mismatched purple eyes stared down at their collective feet in serious concentration. He had no idea what she was trying to do here, but his guess was that it was some kind of mind game. He kicked back even harder. He didn't like mind games. They were hard to understand and it would take him some time sitting down at a desk to figure out what was happening.
