"Well.... thanks for the teaching session, then... sweatdrop I feel like I picked up on it pretty quickly. I saw that trap coming way in advance, and was just hoping I could do enough to avoid it... but no dice. Jeez, what a powerful combo...
"GGs." Rikun nods and scrapes up Betamon to go give him some medical treatment... "....it's tough losing, but even despite, that was pretty fun... I hope Betamon enjoyed it just a little."((...so um... what happens now?))

The aura of victory quickly fades away as Raji returns to his mentor-like state of mind. "Now we take things up a notch." He reaches in his card deck for a Digivolve and tosses it to the tamer. "Use this, we're going to do battle at the Champion level.""Finally... I can go to my true state!" The armadillomon steps away from the group and looks to his tamer. "I'm ready!""It's time... TO DIGIVOLVE!!!" He pulls another digivolve card from his reserves and slides it across his purple and gray d-arc digivice. The armdillomon receives the power of the card and enters a drawn-out digivolution sequence in which he digivolves into his champion form... "...Well all right then." *sssssSLAH* Betamon pops awake instantly as he's enveloped in light... "Betamon digivolve to...." "GUARDROMON!"Username: Blademaster Banryu Digimon: Guardromon (still nameless for time being) Data-typeHP: 80 MP: 40 Deck: Champion Default          Guardromon clangs his metallic fists together eagerly. "How... how does that even work, anyway... You were an amphibian, now you're a robot...?" Rikun wonders weakly. "Beats me! Maybe it's because you defended me with metal earlier!" "Oh yeah, the trash cans... I guess that kinda works...? Well, let's get this show on the road."

"Attack!" He calls out, pointing the device at his digimon. "But of course." The massive lion digimon jumps towards the robot and begins to jab at him with swift blows, ignoring the slight recoil from hitting metal. Guardo HP 80- (10+5)= 65 MP 40 Effect(s): Leo HP 80 MP 40-25= 15 Effect(s): +5atk (entire battle) "Be sure to notice that there is a change in the amount of dice that you roll for a champion and it increases with each level.""Also, if you'll notice, here we'll see where attributes come into play. Good thinking playing Guardromon as a data type."Extra Lesson: Attribution Choice According to DMA, some digimon have more than one attribute. This can affect everything about that digimon from battles to how it digivolves in the TP Shop. Whenever you come up to that situation, the attribute you choose is your choice... choose wisely. Note: This does not mean that your digimon if forced to stay that attribute. For example, you can have your digimon act as a Data type in one battle and then choose its other attribute for another. The only time where this is not true is in Tournaments. Which ever attribute you choose when signing up is the attribute you choose for the entire event.

I have a feeling he's going the route I was going to take... Although his moving first gives him a bit of a head start, hmm. Dunno if there's much I can do to counteract that, but we'll see... "...Right, I guess this is what we'll go with. It's the best card to start with, anyway," Rikun says matter-of-factly. "Not like I have much of a choice, is it?" rolleyes "If you say so." 3nodding "Digi-Modify: Activate D-3 Digivice." Rikun's own green Digivice undergoes the similar transformation as light shoots out of it, enveloping Guardromon and raising his own attack power. "Now, gogogo, Robo! Attack!""Rrrrright!" Guardromon winds up, then hurls a mighty punch directly at the taller Digimon's torso! Robo HP 65 MP 40 - 25 = 15 Effect(s): +5atk (entire battle) Leo HP 80 - 5 - 9 = 66 MP 15 Effect(s): +5atk (entire battle) "...Why did you call me Robo?" Guardromon asks quizzically. As he smashes the bean against Robo's iron frame, the bean takes effect and changes its attribute to a virus type. The leomon goes in for yet another hit from his boosted aura, a little slower than usual. "Hiro, looks to me like you're slowing down a bit..." He reaches for a red card and twirls it around before sliding it across his hybrid D-Arc 3. "DIGIMODIFY: SUMMERTIME, ACTIVATE!!!" An aura of rejunvination wafts through the field affecting both of the digimon. "I... Feel... REJUVENATED!!!" He cries as he darts towards the digimon.  Robo VirusHP: 59- (12+5)= 47 MP: 21+10= 31 Effect(s): +5atk (entire battle), +5 HP when defending  Leo VaccineHP: 65 MP: 2+10= 12 Effect(s): +5atk (entire battle), +5 HP when defending VERY IMPORTANT LESSON: Battle Effect Chains Now we enter to heart of all battles when continuous cards like Summertime are activated. Once these kind that affect a player kick in it becomes a passive effect. These can range from affecting a single player to affecting both players. When you come in contact with these, remember this: Passive Effect--> Used Card Effect+ MP subtraction from card--> Your Attack/Defend Keep this in mind always as it can both help you and hurt you. Also Summertime is one of the few cards that affect both players on both of their turns. In this case, we each gain 10 mp at the start of each of our turns.

In this case, I'm thinking that your playing that card is more likely to hurt you, as you're about to see... xD I'm just gonna remind myself that you're probably playing that to prove a point more than to try to win.)) A spark of inspiration flashes in Rikun's green eyes-- he sees an opportunity to strike. "Yeahahaha, that's what we've been waiting for," Rikun mutters to himself and Guardromon with a grin. Guardromon narrows his eyes, his only source of expression, as he prepares to make good on his threat... "Digi-Modify! Activate Nova Blast!" The tank on Guardromon's back glows, then transforms into a high-powered flame cannon! "Take this, meatbag! Nova Blast!" he roars in his metal-muffled voice, launching a giant fireball from his back-mounted flame cannon! After the attack his back-tank returns to normal. RoboHP: 59/80 MP: 31 - 28 = 3/40 Effect: +30 atk (single turn), +5atk (entire battle), +5 HP when defending Leo HP: 65 - 30 - 11 = 24/80 MP: 12/40 Effect: +5atk (entire battle), +5 HP when defending

Crap, I forgot my diceroll. EDIT: Does Summertime activate during each our turns? So should I have added the +10 MP into the calcs for my turn?
