Right after his attack, Shun felt a little weak from expending so much FEAR at once. However, he tried not to let that slow him down too much. From her stance, it looked like he had spooked her a bit. It made him feel a little bad, really.
And thus that subconscious drive to not hurt her kicked in once more as he ended up lashing out with his offhand kind of sluggishly.

The halfhearted strike left Shun somewhat open. Mitsu was a little hesitant and first but soon decided to strike. It was her initial hesitation that had her failing to hit, being too slow to even graze the reaper.

Gripping his daggers more tightly as he saw Mitsu come at him again, Shun noticed the hesitance in her attack. While he wasn't as aware that some of his own attacks were holding back in their own right, he could see it as plain as day within hers.
"Hesitate not," he said calmly while slashing at her arm to counter, "Do so and you're more likely to get hurt."
As he just demonstrated.

The slash across her arm was a bit more solid and it left Mitsu gripping the wound with a hiss. In quick retaliation Mitsu came back around and slashed out at the reaper in turn, aiming for a hand that was holding his daggers. If she could get him to drop them maybe she stood a chance.

Soon after his dagger bit into Mitsu, he felt her claws rake over his right hand. Gritting his teeth, he let out a light hiss, but he didn't drop his weapons. It did seem that the attack did cause a slight delay in his retaliation, however.

There was that hesitation from the reaper again though this time it was from Mitsu's strike. Somehow her mind started to calculate her next move, wondering how it would be best to disarm him and end this. Her best choice was to attack somewhere he had already been attack she thought and once again tried to strike out at the hand she had just hit hoping he would drop at least one of his blades.

Shun's own advice seemed to come biting back at him with a vengeance. Only, he wasn't aware of his personal hesitance. Within the next moment, he felt the claws hit his right hand hard once again. Letting out a small cry, the dagger was knocked out of his grip as a result.
Gritting his teeth, he felt something warm drip down his hand. That had actually cut him pretty good that time.
Keeping his right hand back, he raised his left one up before lashing out at her. Aside from the various scratches and cut he was sustaining, he was starting to feel rather weary.

As soon as she saw the blood her eyes widened. "Ah, I'm-" She had prepared to apologize again but once again the idea was her downfall. Shun's remaining blade sliced across her arm, cleaving through the material easily to leave a slight cut on her skin. She hissed backing up a bit before she had to remind herself that they were in a fight.
Trying to steel herself she felt an off sensation of sorts course through her muscles. It was like she was shifting but wasn't. She could almost feel the strength coursing through her as she took a step forward, aiming a punch at the reaper's side with the force she had shown him previously. Only later would she regret it when she actually hit.

"Augh!" Shun grunted as Mitsu's fist collided into his side. It cleared him off his feet, just as her previous strong blow did. Clutching his side for the moment, he hissed before getting back up to lash out at the girl with his left dagger once more. He didn't think he could take another hit like that, but he wasn't about to give up just yet.

When Shun cried out Mitsu wasn't sure what to do. She wanted to see if he was okay, check to make sure she hadn't hurt him too badly but he had quickly lashed back with his blade, striking the arm that had struck him. Hissing a bit Mitsu drew back her now bleeding fingers, cradling them shortly in her free hand.
Her eyes darted back up, eyeing the reaper cautiously. "S..Shun?" The will to fight was fading but she was still on guard. No doubt she could probably be swayed.

Breathing a little heavily, Shun narrowed his eyes as Mitsu stood there.
"This fight isn't over yet Mitsu," he hissed while shifting forward to strike the girl again. A part of him was cringing at the sight of her blood flowing thanks to him. However, he could be tender with her once they were done here. Now wasn't quite yet the time to be doing that.

Not long after she spoke Shun scolded her telling her the fight wasn't done. But he was hurt...she had hurt him. She wanted to make sure he was alright, but apparently he was alright enough to lash out again. Mitsu had brought up her arm just in time to receive a sizable cut from wrist to elbow. Blocking against a knife...oh right. At least it was better than being stabbed in the face or chest but it stung causing Mitsu to stagger back.
She teetered on her feet for a moment unsure which direction to go before she finally settled on the side where Shun had been disarmed. Maybe if she could just end this but be careful. Apparently she was being overly cautious because when she struck her attack was a light tap compared to her last.

Shun moved. And between that and Mitsu's weaker strike, he didn't feel it all too much. However, he was already very worn down from their battle. Rather than striking out with his dagger again, he shifted forth to land a fairly solid kick onto her side.

Mitsu had been so focused on the dagger waiting for the next strike she hadn't even watched his body movement like he had told her to. Instead she took the kick to the side rather solidly, stumbling before falling to the ground on her hands and knees. It had been enough to do in her fear shield and she suddenly felt incredibly vulnerable sitting on the ground.
Slowly she moved but it was to merely wrap her arms around herself, wide eyes turning up to look at the reaper. Was it over or would he deal a final blow?

Lowering his foot, Shun let out a breath as he stared at Mitsu on the ground. It didn't look like she was going to be continuing the fight. Closing his eyes for a moment, he dismissed his daggers before making his way over, crouching down besides her.
"And now it's over," he said in a tone softer than when he was in 'fight mode'. Now, he could be gentle with her.
"You almost had me there too Mitsu. Next time, don't hesitate," he whispered while holding a hand out, "let me take a look at your arms."
He knew he had made her bleed. The Reaper wanted to make sure the cuts weren't too bad.
