"You're wrong about that," Camelot said, though he couldn't elaborate in any way. He had his own rude teenager to worry about, not to mention the fact that he didn't find Harmony anything like that when she helped at the library. But neither of the two girls present knew, or could know, his identity and he wasn't about to go throwing hints around.

He'd already taken a pretty big risk, appearing as he had.

Still, at least he had forged a relationship with Harmony as Camelot. It made caring about her easier, and protecting her a lot harder. The good outweighed the bad, at least in his head. Since meeting in the Surrounding, he had taken it upon himself to take care of her in every way he could.

When Lesath managed to drain her again, he lost track of his 'let's not fight' attitude. The White Knight in him,the one that had been with him long before he became Camelot, the one that made him protect those he cared about with everything he had, took over. He lunged and called for his Crystal. It thrummed in response to his words and he slammed his shield forward.

Whether he hit the Dark senshi or not did not really matter. A pulse of light burst from the crystal, a force enough to shove her back and away from Harmony like a burst of solid wind. It sparked nerve endings to life, and left in its wake a fairly intense, if not fleeting and injuryless, pain.

Camelot regretted attacking almost immediately. He was never going to convince others, especially the DMC it seemed, that he wanted peace when he was so quick to attack.

When Harmony hit the ground, Lesath felt a wonderful sense of pride. Well, that was more than enough work done for today, she would leave the old man to tend to her…

When he attacked, she was rather surprised, trying, and somehow managing to escape the wooden shield. For a moment, her face was one of triumph, then she was pushed backwards by an unseen power.

A power that hurt. A lot.

A scream escaped her for a few moments and she winced, curling her arms over her chest, she fell to the ground, then sat there for a moment, closing her eyes. The pain receded almost as quickly as it had come though it was there in memory. Holy crap. That wasn’t someone to mess with…not with as strong as she was now…

She stood back up and narrowed her eyes to Camelot, giving a curt nod. She was retreating. She didn’t want that pain again, and she had extracted her revenge, so she was pleased by that.

Lesath ran then, diving through a mirror in the park. She wasn’t disappointed by how things had turned out. Not by a long shot.

When the creepy stalker chick screamed Harmony felt an amazing sense of satisfaction. She was only a little tired and she was sure it would pass. By the way she screamed that had to have hurt. And then she ran off with her tail between her legs like the scaredy cat she was. The mint haired girl felt happy to see it as she struggled to her feet, her knees still feeling like jello. She was also rather impressed with Camelot.

"You saved me...again."

She knew that was his general job description but he kept doing it in a multitude of ways, always somehow managing to be where she needed him. She didn't question why or how he always found her. She was just thankful he did. Without hesitation she threw her arms around him, kissing his cheek soundly in gratitude. The Rosen women tended to do that, it seemed. As planned Harm did not make the connection between the incident with Jett and this attack and she didn't see Tony when she looked at Camelot. She wasn't even thinking about the librarian. She'd already been saved by someone more effective than the police.

"Thank you."

There wasn't much more to say than that, she found. Anything else he already knew.

Camelot watched as Lesath hit the ground, wincing as she did as if it pained him. It didn't, not physically, but he hadn't wanted to hurt her. He did not want to hurt anyone. At least the power his crystal gave him was only temporary, and he couldn't do anything lasting with it. He couldn't kill with it. Or so he imagined, as he had only used to a couple of times on human targets before.

He watched her run but did not chase. The Squire had more pressing matters to attend to, which involved the young girl laying on the floor. She had been drained of a lot of energy, and he needed to get her home. Or to the hospital. But they would be able to do little, and she needed to be with her mom.

"Don't stand, you're too weak to be moving," he said, worrying over her like a mother, or father in this case, hen. He hugged her, then picked her up as if she weighed nothing. Powered up, she barely registered.

He looked down at her, smiling reassuringly.

"I'm going to get you home, where you can rest. Take the whole day, maybe longer. After that, you'll have to explain to me what just happened. But for now I just want you to recover. Okay?" He began to walk, carrying her with him as he made his way quickly, but not too quickly to jostle her to much, to her house. He knew the way as well as he did the path back to his own place or the library.

"How do I find you again?" she complained quietly from in his arms. "It's not like you have a cell phone I can call."

Little did she know that she'd done just that. Only then did she remember Tony and hoped he wouldn't worry if he didn't find her. She'd call him when she got home and got inside so he wouldn't be concerned. That was the last thing she wanted to do to him because he meant well, she was sure of it. But for now she was in Camelot's arms and feeling as tired as he said she would. Her mother would fret and fuss over her like a wounded bird but it couldn't be helped.

"How do you always know when I'm in trouble?" she asked him, laying her head on his shoulder and half dozing as they walked. "Is that your super power? Saving me?"

Cause sometimes if felt like he didn't have time for anything else. After that she dozed in earnest against him, feeling light and dizzy and it was a toss up on whether or not she'd actually hear his answer if he gave one. One thing was certain, if he hadn't been there to stop Lesath she might have died. What obsession did the Negaverse seem to have with killing her, specifically? It was beyond the girl to understand.

"Love you." she murmured sleepily, lost in her own half formed thoughts. That much, at least, was clear. Always.

"I think I've been lucky, so far, for how unlucky you've been," Camelot said quietly as he carried her. He shook his head, not too big a fan for all the trouble Harmony often found herself in. He tried to make sure she stayed safe, but tonight really had been a stroke of luck. If she hadn't called Tony, he would not have been there to help her and he had no idea what might have happened.

He could see she was exhausted, and struggling to talk. He supported her carefully, trying not to jostle her too much. At the same time, he tried not to draw any attention from anyone they might meet on the way. It was slow going, and round about, but he was determined to get her home.

He heard her speak again some time later, as he was drawing close to her house. He smiled softly at the words, and he knew it was true. If only she knew how close to him she really was. She was already important to him, as Camelot and as Tony. A daughter, really, at this point. And that was why he would always be there to rescue her.

Reaching the doorstep, he knocked on the door lightly and debated leaving her there, but imagined that would be a bit traumatic for Kyndall. So he waited, to explain what happened and make sure Harmony was put to bed and would recover.
