Trist bellowed in pain at the bite, rearing to try and get the Rattata to release his wounded leg. When he was sufficiently recovered, he retaliated back with another round of Confusion.

Trist had been downed, and it was obvious he wouldn't get back up. Mina threw his Poké Ball to retrieve him, giving him a reassuring, "You tried your best." as he was recalled.
Walking out to the middle of the field, she clasped her opponent's arm. "That was a great battle. I think I owe someone hot cocoa now," she said with a laugh.

"Oh my word...Rattata we won! We won one!" she did a little victory jump on the spot then walked down onto the field and picked the rental and hugged him. She smiled warmly at the other trainer, "It was a great battle and I believe you do."
