"Gah!" Cara winced as Calypso hit herself. "Here we go again..." She muttered with a sigh. She winced even more as Trist's attack hit. "Calypso!"
Calypso went flying across the playground, but was able to sturdy herself quickly.
"Ok Calypso, try Payback again!"
Calypso once again charged the attack and aimed it for where she thought the Girafarig was.

Trist shook the confusion from his mind, glad to have a clear head once again. He aimed a Confusion at the Tentacool again, confident that he wouldn't accidentally hit himself.

((...i feel like being a total b***h right now and i have no idea why confused very odd mood swing...and i feel like bein lazy sooo, imma stop doin the separate paragraph type stuffs X3))
"Come on Calypso, snap out of it!" Cara shouted. As if realizing what Cara was saying for the first time, Calypso shook her head, both shaking off the attack she had just received and the confusion and sat back up, ready to continue the fight. "Great job girl! Now use Payback!" Calypso powered up the attack and shot it right for Trist.

Trist snorted nervously when he saw the Tentacool clear its head, as well. He only hoped that the field, more land than water, would still provide him with an advantage.
Stumbling back to dodge the Payback, he felt his legs crash onto the merry-go-round behind him and nearly tripped. Maintaining his footing, he aimed another Confusion at the Pokémon.

Calypso was sent back onto the swing this time and held on for dear life. At least on the swing she was off the ground. "Ok Calypso, try Supersonic!" Calypso once more aimed at Trist and shot forth a pulse of high frequency soundwaves at the Girafarig in order to confuse it.

And confuse Trist she did. He wobbled on his already uncertain legs on the sandy playground and managed to attempt another Confusion before he fell flat on his face, his butt in the air and his tail-head dropping dejectedly.

((Dis make me smile lolz X3)) Calypso was sent flying around in circles around the swing set bar while holding on tightly to the chains of the swing. She was holding on for dear life. When she came to a stop, she was slightly dizzy but shook it off. Calypso was extremely weary from the battle now, and Cara could tell she wouldn't last much longer. It would probably take a miracle now for them to win, but one would never know unless they tried. Cara suddenly had an idea. "Calypso, use Rest!!" Calypso then moved herself over to another swing, one that had not been wrapped around the top bar and settled herself in and fell asleep in order to heal herself and gain back some health. [ Move Used in This Post: Rest] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Rest, supersonic, payback, sludge wave] [ HP: 150/900] [Rest +100 HP] ((I wonder...do you gain back 100 HP per turn you are unconscious or just in general?))

Spitting sand that had settled on his lips, Trist attempted to realign himself and get back on his feet. He managed the latter, but was unsure of the former. Hopefully, however, his next round of Confusion would hit.

Calypso was hit once more while asleep and her grip on the swing was not strong enough to hold her there as she was sent flying back and onto the slide once more. She rested at the bottom and as the dust cleared, it was apparent that she had been knocked out cold and was unable to battle any further. Cara sighed and pulled out Calypso's pokeball, recalling the battered and bruised pokemon. "You put up a great fight Calypso, Im really proud of you. You deserve a nice long rest." She said softly while looking at the pokeball containing said pokemon. Cara then called over to Mina. "Great battle! I think Calypso and I need to head to the pokemon center. We should have another battle sometime." Cara then climbed down from her trainer's box and walked towards the middle ground on the outside of the field.

"Great job, Trist!" Mina said quietly, recalling the still dazed Girafarig into her Poké Ball. Clipping it onto her belt, she, too, went to the center to offer the other trainer a friendly hand-shake.
"We should," Mina agreed. "It was a good fight. Feel free to hit me up whenever you'd like, I'll be here for a while. And thanks for the battle!"

"I think I will, and you're welcome. Im gonna head to the pokecenter to get Calypso checked out. See ya around." Cara said then headed off for the Katarina Pokemon center. Calypso had fought hard and did her very best. They had been at a disadvantage for most of the battle but they just had to work harder, but that was going to have to wait until Calypso had gotten a good rest.
