Woaaaah.

While Xiu had noticed subtle changes in her own natural form as she grew more experienced, her baku form was not nearly as large or impressive looking as Tahki's was. Almost hesitantly, she stepped towards the gryphon, first resting a gentle hand on her friend's side before she finally slid onto Tahki's back.

There was a moment of silence as she tried to get comfortable, and then she leaned forward to speak. "Is...is that okay? I...I'm not too heavy or something, am I?"

Tahki waited for Xiu to get comfortable before she got up and charged forward. With a mighty leap the two ghouls were soaring through the air. Tahki's mighty wings stretched out allowing the ghoul to glide safely through the campus's open air ways.

The demon dorms were in sight now and Tahki, maybe a little too quickly, began her decent. The building was approaching a little too fast though. The gryphon had maybe over estimated her landing just a tad.

"CLOSE YOUR EYES!" The building was getting closer and closer.

Though Xiu had noticed that they were flying rather quickly, she hadn't really been aware that anything was actually wrong. Yes, the speed was making her a little notice, but maybe...maybe that was just how quickly Tahki usually flew? She was certain that the gryphon knew what she was doing.

Unfortunately, when she was suddenly told to close her eyes (in a tone that didn't sound very calm), Xiu immediately realized that something was wrong. When she noticed that they were approaching the building far too quickly, the baku clung tighter to the winged ghoul, squeezing her eyes shut. Then she waited, either for a sharp turn if Tahki managed to dodge the building, or for the impact of them slamming into it.

Whatever happened, hopefully she wouldn't fall off!
