Oki popped up above ground only to find that his opponent wasn't where he thought it would be. Then he was smacked from behind, where the Lucario actually was. Oki quickly ducked back underground to Dig again, and this time focused very carefully before choosing where to resurface.

Although the Zorua had recently displayed weakness with its loud underground clatter, it more than made up for it with the dig it used next. The blow was enough to knock Erebos off his feet and he was out cold.
Genesis, upon seeing Erebos knocked out, held up his Poké Ball, claiming him with a beam of soft red light.
"Good battle," she called across the field. "I better get to a Center; thanks for the fight!"

Oki was ready to duck back underground, but found it was't needed. The Lucario fell right over, and was soon recalled to his pokeball. Oki trotted back towards Anise, feeling a bit smug at his win.
"Yeah, good battle," Anise said to the other trainer, who she couldn't really see between all the trees. She was watching Oki though, and thought he'd come out of this battle pretty well. He was certainly tired, but didn't seem about to fall over. That seemed a good sign. Regardless, she set about to treating him so he'd be back to full strength.
