Hmm. So the boil was a soft spot for Freya. It was a good thing to know, and Lark felt a little bad for using Freya's boilfriend as a pawn. Just a little, though. Lark remained silent as she stared at the valkyrie with narrowed, icy eyes. It seemed like they'd come to an understanding. This pleased Lark. She knew how Kettil could be. He was stubborn, sweet... but oftentimes the stubbornness won out and he did things that put himself in the line of fire for heartache.
"So've we come t'an understandin', then?" Lark hoped so. She really did, because she still had half a mind to apply her fist to Freya's face.

"Fine." Freya growled, her wings puffing even further before she reached out and snatched up the box of chocolates. What? She said she didn't like them, and Freya loved them - they weren't going to waste!
"I'll just. Goes. Then." Freya's growl had turned into more of a whine, and her eyes moistened again, as the emotion welled from within her at the great failure that was this meeting, before she stormed for the door. She opened it, stepped outside, and turned around to glare at Lark.
"WELCOME TO AMITYVILLE." She shouted, before slamming the door shut.

The instant that the door slammed Ben shimmered back into existence. A bit confused, the familiar peered around before realizing that Freya was gone.
"Awwrr, Lark, y'gone been a right little s**t again, ain't ya?" Ben sighed and shook his head. "Y'know, I think it was admirable that th'girl happened by. Tryna make peace n' all."
"Shut up, Ben." Lark singsonged, grabbing her hat. "I'm goin' out. Ket's gonna give me an earful, I already know it, so I ain't need it from you neither." That being said the reaper swept out the door, closing it with a loud slam.
