Before sitting down on the bed again, Shun went on to place some food into a few small bowls on the ground. His other minis came wandering out of their hiding places at this point to have their dinner as well. Arkham had only glanced at Lizzy before moving to chow down. The two birds, Yin and Yang, more or less went straight for the food too. Yang, however, paused to look over at the girl, tilting his head in curiosity.
With that done, he seated himself and waited for his rice to cool a bit. Instead of eating right away, he looked over at the heartbroken girl, shaking his head as she thanked him.
"It's the least I can do. Comforting others isn't really one of my strengths," he replied.
"It's understandable that you'd be distressed after what's happened."

Lizzy was sure to avoid stepping on any of the minipets in Shun's room as she made her way to the bed, gently placing Bent-Tail on the ground so that he could get to his food too. She then took a seat beside the reaper, seeing that there was nowhere else to sit, "You're doing fine..." She nodded, staring at her bowl as she took the spoon, pushing the food around.
"I guess it just happened... So suddenly..." She held back fresh tears, taking in a deep breath, "But maybe... Maybe this is for the best. He can find someone better." She remembered his words, and the aching in her chest started again, "Someone who can be a better ghoulfriend for him. Maybe someone who shares his views and can give him what he wants..."

As the mouse was set on the ground, he looked up at Lizzy for a few moments, then scampered off to eat his dinner as well.
"Maybe it is, but perhaps not for the reasons you describe," Shun said after taking a spoonful of rice to eat, "What makes you think you aren't a good girlfriend?"
As far as he was aware, she didn't like... verbally or physically abuse Mac. He knew she had cared for him considering how she had gotten onto him for socking the guy in the face that one time.

"Not good for him," She replied softly, scooping up a spoonful of rice before nibbling on the edge of the spoon, hardly touching the rice, "Not good enough..."
She paused, putting down the spoon, "Shun, I know you're the honest kind, so... I have to ask you, uh... Um..." Her voice dropped to a whisper, like she was afraid of being heard even though there was clearly nobody else around, "Do you mind if your ghoulfriend doesn't want to... Uh, you know... Get... Too intimate."

Shun furrowed his brow as Lizzy spoke on. When she mentioned a question, he looked over towards her to see what she was going to ask. The question presented was... a surprise. Things were becoming a little more clear to him now. Why else would she be asking that question if that wasn't a part of what was going on behind the scenes?
"No," he said before pausing, "I will admit, I would like things to reach that point. But if she isn't comfortable with that or would rather not, that's fine. I won't jeopardize things for that."

"Have you ever reached that point with anyone?" She asked, her voice still hushed as she continued to stare at her food, her cheeks flushing pink; it might be Shun but he was still a boil, and asking him made her embarrassed... But she didn't know who else to turn to. There was Mot, but she wasn't sure this was something she should go to him about, seeing how he had already stated how intimate actions scared him.
Maybe Jericho, but...
"I mean, if you don't mind sharing..." She added quickly, "And promise me... This conversation stays in this room." She wasn't about to go telling anyone anything; in fact, she was really happy for Mitsu and Shun.

"Yes and no."
That might have confused Lizzy, but Shun went on to elaborate what he meant with his answer. He really didn't have anything to hide, and he was pretty certain she wouldn't start shouting out these sorts of things to the public.
"My past experiences were more of a one night stand. This is my first time being in a relationship... so things work a bit differently. I cannot quite tell how quickly I should take things, should she be comfortable with it."

"So... You didn't love her?" She sounded just a bit surprised, and a little disappointed. The thought that she had given so many of her firsts to that same person who had treated their relationship like a game... To someone who might not have felt anything for her at all... That hurt. A lot.
"You just did it and then... Left?"

"I had known her for a while but no. And neither did she for me for that matter. You have to understand Lizzy. Last month or so? Or whenever it first started? That was really my first experience with.. love. My time in this school has caused me to actually care about others. And for others to actually care for me."
Letting out a sigh, Shun shook his head and glanced down at the rice remaining in his bowl.
"Those times in the past. I didn't do this often, mind you. It was simply to indulge in a desire. Or curiosity to an extent for the first time. I'd be surprised if there's really much love to be had back home. For anyone there."

Lizzy remained silent; Shun was right, of course. She had heard a little about his home, but she didn't like what she had heard so far... From what she could infer, Shun's home sounded like a very cold and loveless place to her.
"Desire... Curiosity..." She echoed softly; was Mac like that? Probably not the latter, seeing how he had already told her that he had experience, but... What if that was a lie too? She wasn't sure what he would stand by lying to her about that, but she felt so paranoid right now, with his words still ringing in her ears.
"Mind if I stay here for a little while longer?" She asked softly, looking up at the boil, "I don't think I want to walk back to my room feeling like this, so..." She felt so defeated that she was sure it showed on her face, that anyone who saw her would know what happened between her and Mac.

Shun nodded quietly, thinking things over for a moment or so.
"Now don't get me wrong. That isn't why I'm with Mitsu. I wouldn't do that to her. It's... hard to explain. But I really do care for her."
Frowning, he tried to see if he could put things to words, but it was failing to come to him right now. The desire was there, but it was also different in a way. He didn't really know how to say it. He wasn't even sure if Lizzy would get what he was trying to get at.
"And go ahead. Stay as long as you need to," he said softly.
Thinking in on this conversation, he was fairly certain that intimacy... or lack of it was a reason for Lizzy being here right now. He couldn't help but frown at the thought.

"I know you wouldn't," She really couldn't imagine Shun making Mitsu cry on purpose, seeing how protective he normally was of the werewolf - he even got into the ball pit to help find her mask! She paused, "I know you wouldn't just leave her hanging and... If it's you, I'm sure Mitsu will enjoy it."
She fidgeted; ugh, stop thinking about it! Stop thinking about how much she had enjoyed Mac's attention! It might had been a trick after all!
"Thanks," She wasn't sure how many times she had thanked him already, but she couldn't help it. Going silent, she decided to just nibble a little more on the rice on her spoon.

Nodding quietly, Shun let out a sigh before eating some more of his dinner. When Lizzy thanked him, he glanced over and shook his head.
"You don't have to thank me. This is really the least I could do," he said before pausing. Thinking, "By the way, feel free to swing by whenever. There isn't much I could really do for you, but I can at least provide some company."

She thought about his offer quietly, slowly going through her spoonful of rice; comforting words were nice and all, but sometimes? Silence was a nice change - she didn't feel pressurized to tell the boil anything, and he was certainly not one to ask or assume too much.
"Tha-" She caught herself thanking him again, and stopped, looking sheepish as she continued with a small smile, "I'll keep that in mind. And... You're doing plenty by doing nothing, trust me."
Suddenly it made sense why Xiu made Shun her big brother.

Looking over at her silently, Shun soon nodded before going back to his dinner. It seemed a little odd to him, that she would say that, but apparently just having a bit of company was enough for her right now. But at least he wasn't pressured to try and do more. If he were to really try, he'd probably come off a little awkwardly.
Quietly, he went on and finished his meal, then set the bowl down onto his lap in the meantime. He was thinking about a few things here and there related to this situation as a whole, but he didn't really vocalize any of his thoughts.
