Eleanor Abigail Moriate

███████████████████████████████████████████████

It was hard to tell what was going on in the minds of the people. Eleanor could hardly tell what was going on in her own mind and every now and then she would glance over at her father to really make sure this wasn't some odd dream or an illusion. Noctis was off to the side as always as she sat where she normally sat. Everything seemed the same, the only thing different was the amount of people here today and the reason why they were here. She could hardly believe what was going on but the idea of going to a distant land did excite her. Yes, she would be leaving her father and that broke her heart, but it didn't destroy her excitement about going to the lands of the elves. From this point on, things would be different and she would no longer be too pampered since they would be out on the road for a while. Even so, she was an adventurer at heart and she was ready to explore the world beyond her kingdom.

Unfortunately, Eleanor was still unaware as to why she was being sent to safety..well the real reason. She was oblivious to the fact that a big secret was kept from her and not even her dear close friend had told her such a thing. Something had been nagging at her this whole time she was sitting there and the whole time her father spoke. There was something missing, not in what he was saying but in her. Eleanor felt as if there was something missing in both her mind and soul and she had always figured it was due to the fact that she desired to go out in the world. Now that she had that chanced, perhaps that void would be filled. Yet, as she sat there, she couldn't help but feel that the void would remain, it would remain until she learned the truth of herself.

Soon enough, she turned back into what was being said and she paid more attention to the expressions on everyone's face. Some seemed bored and uninterested, some fearful, and others had the look of determination and hope. Those people with such powerful expressions help her attention. Eleanor admired such bravery and courage, two qualities she wished to have in her. Though she did have bravery and courage, she felt that it was no where near that of a Knight or civilians out there, dealing with this fear of war.

Sitting up straight, Eleanor began to wonder why her father was going to such an extent. Though she was the Princess and the only heir, she felt that she didn't have that much significance, at least enough to ask people to volunteer for this. It was clear that she did not see what true worth she had, but how could one blame her when she's only been treated like a fragile china doll. For a moment, Eleanor wanted to stand up and tell her father, the king to stop what he was doing and to allow her to stay. In fact, even though she loved nature and the idea of adventure, she wished to stay here with her father. With her gone, how would she be able to tell that he was okay? What if something bad happened to him? How in the world would she react to such a thing and be so far away? At times she wondered what her mother would have said in all of this. She rarely spoke of her mother, and her father never spoke much about her. Eleanor knew that it pain her father to speak of his late wife but he did tell her that her mother was a great woman. At time Eleanor would feel bad that her mother had died due to giving birth to her. How she would have loved to have met her mother. None the less, Eleanor believed that her mothers soul was mixed with her own so whenever she grew sullen when thinking of her mother, she would fell warmth in the core of her body and become comforted.

Time to time, Eleanor would wish she was another persons daughter so her father could still have his beautiful wife. It pained her to think like that so she forced herself to be more optimistic. At last, she sat still and watched to see who would step forward.

Noctis Lance Cypher

Standing tall and confident, Noctis stood near Elle as the king spoke. She seemed tense, like there was something bothering her that she cannot seem to remember, but stayed quite as his king spoke to everyone. He was a bit excited about what the king wanted; escorting their Princess, Eleanor Abigail Moriate, to the Elvin lands. It was like a hero story that his father had once told him, but this time, Noctis was also a character. But thinking on that, Noctis felt a bit sad inside; his father had not long ago, while he was still a child. Noctis's father was a squire for a knight, but both had died during a bandit attack. Since then, Noctis vowed to be strong, so that no one he loved would ever be hurt. Once the king's speech had ended, Noctis got back to reality, and kept looking confident.

He looked around at the people who had gathered here today; strong, powerful warriors and mages from all over the world, here for protect Elle. Some looked as though they are ready to fight, while others seemed too scare to even stand. But even then, Noctis could just feel the power from each and everyone of them. He saw not only humans, but creatures of various races; lizard-folk, elves, dwarfs, Golems, fairies; it was like all the creatures in the kingdom came here to serve and protect.

Despite their fearsome looks, when no one yet stood to offer their services, Noctis stepped out of his spot next to Elle and knelt before the king. He took a sharp breath, but spoke loud and clearly for everyone to hear. "My lord and majesty, I would like to volunteer to escort your daughter, our princess, to the Elvin kingdom. I have protected her since I was a child, and without her I would not be here today. I owe both you and her my life, and I see it only suitable that I escort her." Noctis looked up at his king, and gave a small reassuring glace at Elle. He looked at the king, who had recently spoken to everyone about the predicament. Noctis hopes that the king would accept Noctis without question; he had proven his loyalty for years, and now he wished to stay close to his Princess, out of friendship and duty.

I can fight back monsters and save the day, but I'd rather teach others to fight to save them a lifetime.

King Moriate

King Moriate gazed out at the audience before him. He was rather pleased that his speech had gone so well, but that pleased feeling had dissipated fairly quickly. Now he was anxious. No one had stepped forward for the longest time. No one wanted to risk their lives. This angered him slightly. Where was their loyalty to their monarch? Did they not want their princess at least, if not their king, brought to safety? Yet no one had stepped forward.

Finally, the first stepped forward. It was Noctis Cypher, the long-time bodyguard of his daughter. He gave an approving nod, barely visible as the young man made his case. Indeed, he had protected the princess for as long as he had been in the palace, practically, and he would see to it that no harm befell her. It would no doubt make the journey a little easier, for Eleanor to have someone she knew along with her. "You have long proven your steadfast loyalty to the princess, and through her, the crown. If there is anyone here I would entrust her to, it would be you. I charge you with the care of this kingdom's princess and only heir to the throne. May that responsibility weigh heavily in your mind and never leave your thoughts."

Moriate looked over Noctis's knelt form at the audience, surveying each and every face. "Will not anyone else join this mighty venture to the Elven kingdom? Is there no one else willing to risk their lives for the Princess Eleanor?"

(( Since I said so. Gimme a minute Ima post after my shower. ))

Vincent Cryssagrim

"I will answer your call, dear, King, Moriate." Came a voice from the back of the room. The crowd slowly parted as the owner of said voice made its way to the front, until it stood before the king himself. However the owner was quite peculiar, as it wasn't a person at all, but more or less, a wolf. It was a rather big wolf, with pepper grey fur covering it's back and a nice snowy white shine on it's underside. However this appearance vanished swiftly as the wolf slowly changed into a man that seemed to loom over the rest of the crowd. A man with pale skin, hair that matched the underside of the wolf that he had once been, and red eyes that seemed to pierce through ones very soul. This was no man at all, no, this was one of the Githzerai.

At first the people didn't realize but, in a matter of moments it became all too clear what they were staring at. Gasps, and cries emitted around the room. The guards readied themselves to attack in case this trespasser tried anything. But, no, the man only smiled, then he knelt before the king as Noctis had before him. "My liege, I am Vincent Cryssagrim, an outcast of Eskrath for some seven hundred years now, and I wish to serve as one of your daughter's guardians." His voice was respectful, he did not mock the king as some thought he meant to before. Yet, there was still some hint in his voice that he did not mean all that he said, or at least he wasn't telling the whole truth.

He then stood again. For he knew the King would not allow him to join in on this quest on a whim. No, he was about to be questioned like no tomorrow. He couldn't blame the humans, after all they were in a time of war, and, with his people. How were they to know his true intentions, he could be a spy, and assassin, both, Gith were never to be trusted, even during peace time. At this thought he merely smiled. It amused him how paranoid the humans were. So predictable. He thought to himself waiting for the king to begin.

His eyes darted around the room observing those who came. Why was he only the second volunteer? And, why did the first come forth at all? Their were many here that seemed to be likely enough candidates for the job, but when worse comes to worst the bravest of all happens to be a boy. Princess's bodyguard ey? He still thought, as he waited. Security isn't all that it used to be. Insulting people when they couldn't defend themselves was fun, but insulting them to their face was much more entertaining. Seeing them flare up as the remark rolled off the tongue, priceless. Or, maybe it was when they tried to defend themselves feebly that really made the game fun. Whatever the case, he couldn't wait to exchange words with the boy. He was getting ahead of himself. Here he was planning out the mental, and emotional execution of this boy, and he hadn't even been accepted for the job yet. Vincent you really do crack me up sometimes. He thought, moving his eyes from the boy to scan the room once more.

Why did they even show up if they didn't plan to volunteer? Did they come here to just listen to the morale boosting words of a King who would more than likely be thrown into a prison to await his execution before the citizens of Sorl, by its conquerors, the Githzerai? Surely it couldn't have been that. Whatever the case they were all deemed cowards in Vincent's eyes no matter their situation. Only three others after him could be redeemed. By now the smirk he once wore upon his face had faded to a frown of extreme discontent. Perhaps the subject of cowards reminded him too much of his brother, whom not only betrayed him, and killed their father, but he had him exiled to walk among the unclean for eternity. He would kill Dis for his treachery, and then he would deal with everyone else. Quickly, he took his mind off the subject. He looked towards the princess, and looked her over quickly. Nothing special. He thought to himself, but nonetheless he nodded in a friendly fashion trying to get back to his usual lie in which he gave the public. Once more that same smile crept across his face.

[[ You're right guys theirs not much to respond to right now. So just throw out as much as you can ok? Once this really gets going I expect more though. ]]

Dythus Ashizi

"The Silence..."
The Third| Unbreakable| Elven| "Ash"| Expert Swordsman
± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ㊋ : . : ± : . : ± : . :㊋ : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Dythus watched from somewhere in the middle of the room as a second stepped forward to pledge himself to protect a girl. The elven warrior took a second to steel himself for what was coming next, he knew that he would step up before he even came here. "I will answer your call too, my king." Dythus said, pushing his way past the crowd. His features were covered by a black robe, but if one were to focus they'd see strands of snow white hair and crimson eyes. It was these features he tried to hide, along with sharp ears that spoke of his elven nature. All eyes were on him as he knelt before the king. He wore his shield on his back so only the people standing behind him saw the Pylantuh symbol blazed on to the shield's surface, created by magic, unbreakable by all. "My name is Dythus Ashizi, an elf by blood from these very lands." Dythus didn't know his actual birth home so Sorl was the only place he could call home.

He heard people whispering about the symbol on his shield, but that didn't bother him. The shield was made by his lover, Asha, he would carry it to his grave. His swordmaster was standing at the back of the room with Asha, nodding with approval as his young apprentice decided it was time to truly test himself. Dythus' young face was alight with excitement, though his features were still hidden beneath his hood, making him just appear as a shadow to the crowd. His ebony black blade with gold trim made him seem even intimidating to the humans in the crowd, he didn't know why people feared him though. His cold voice and calm manner of speaking made him sound older than he really was, because if he let childish emotions flow like the first volunteer then he was no better than a child.

Even know, he made himself appear to be a threat, but he was quite the contrary. His arrival here was not just some foolish boy wanting to test his worth, his skills would be quite useful to the princess, though he didn't like the idea of going along with others. His lone wolf attitude caused him to glance at the other two who promised to guard the princess, but he didn't allow them to see his eyes or his hair color, not even what anything above his lower jaw looked like. His veins raced with the blood of his people, his heart roared with the soul of a human, his blade would strike foes with the rage carried by the githzerai, he would no allow himself to fail.

"If you would have me, my king, I would be honored to escort her." The cool flow of his voice seemed to be enough to actually stir the crowd, he was amazed at the effect simple words could have on people. They believed in those who stepped forward and bound themselves to an oath, they had hope. And hope...was something needed in these times, without anything to have hope in people lost their morale, people died when they had no hope left. And as far as Dythus was concerned he'd seen enough death of people he started to care for, he was doing this for more personal reasons than just to help the girl herself. The snow haired elf held an impassive and emotionless face underneath his black hood, nobody would know him as he would not allow them to see. It was just his way...

Eleanor Abigail Moriate

███████████████████████████████████████████████

It seemed weird how her content feelings became discontent the more they stepped out and volunteered. Not only that, but the one after Noctis did not set her at ease at all. As he spoke the king she had watched him. In fact, Eleanor was watching him as he gazed about the room and just by looking at him she knew that he was thinking thoughts that were not so nice. Then, when he made eye contact with her and looked away she felt even more discontent. The look was not a warming look at all and it made her feel as if she was insignificant, in which reality she truly wished she was. Though she understood why her father was doing this, she didn't feel like this was all necessary. When the eyes of the people were on the men volunteering so far, Eleanor had a chance to drop down her smile as she sat there frowning. She looked at the floor and felt that sense of emptiness again but a tiny bit of irritation due to the one named Vincent. It wasn't that she distrusted him due to the fact that he was of the Githzerai, it was just the very look he gave her, the very look he truly had behind that mask. If anything, Eleanor could look past someone's facial expression, one because she was one to perfect masking her true thoughts and emotions with face facial expressions, and two...she just had a feeling at the pit of her stomach as if something was whispering into her ear.

At some points she would actually hear a whisper and it would make her look around as if she were going mad. At one point the whispers and muttered, No sense in fretting over those untrustworthy. Those with false truth will perish in the end... before the whispering could say much worse things, Eleanor pushed it away and smiled again as she looked upon her people again. There were so many of them yet they all seemed hesitant but she could understand why. Eleanor knew if she stood in that crowd, she too would be hesitant but with such an adventurous spirit, Eleanor would have been the first or second to volunteer. If it were up to her, Eleanor would journey alone to the land of the Elven. Though she would probably perish.

Another stepped out after the not so nice character after Noctis. It was an elf which caught her interest but her gaze went of to two others that were looking at him with smiles. She came to the conclusion that they were probably very close to him, whether friend wise for the male and lover for the female..but it was just her guess, she could be wrong.

Slowly this was becoming dull and tedious and Eleanor was tempted to get up and leave to let her father finish up while she could go visit the last parts of the castle before she was forced to go. Though she wanted to do it, she knew it would be rude of her not to meet the other two that might volunteer. A soft sigh slipped out from her lips but it was far too quiet for anyone to hear. The more she sat there the more she became bored and depressed. All she could do now was wait.

Ziza Recette

Ziza was just finishing up a job. She leading her mobile store away from a mansion, which had been occupied by the Gith. She was there to loot what remained of the place, but those savages beat her to it. They gave chance, trying to break down her shop. But she knew well enough to arm her vehicle with armor and weapons; the rest of her crew manned the mobile ports, where they had the best advantage to take down their pursuers. But as she tried to get away, Gith patrols came out from the darkness, trying to ambush her. However, she was so stranger to such dangers; she easily navigated her shop out of the clutches of the Gith, as her crew members shot down those who could come close. At the speed they where going, they would be able to reach the Kingdom before the King's great speech. But before she could worry about that, the Gith did something crazy; a group was carrying a cannon, and firing cannon balls at them. Ziza's rig was meant to protect them from magic and arrows and maybe a few glancing cannon balls, but at the range the Geith weere at, one clean shot would decimate them. "Guyus! Man the beast, I'm taking down those cannons!" Guyus, a burly man with a large crossbow, took the wheel of the Recettear.

Ziza ran though her shop, opening a hatch that lead to a flat area where she could stand. Where a arrow almost shot her though the shoulder, but she had the mind to dodge it. Ziza grabbed the bracelet on her wrist, and it transformed into his bow; a Yumi. She pulled back onto the strings, and fired at the pursuers. She had no problem shotting them one by one as Guyus and his crazing driving rocked the Recettear back and forth. Eventually, some distance was put between them and the Gith, but they still showed no signs of stopping. "Hold steady Guyus! I'm going to cut off their path!" Ziza transformed her bow back into a bracelet, and took a deep breath. She hands glowed a light red, and when she opened her eyes, they glowed a deep red. She slide her hand though the air, and when she did, the ground shook. exploding from the ground, giant roots emerged, effectively stopping the Gith as they crashed into the roots. Ziza's eyes stopped glowing and her hands no longer radiated the lights, but she was still smiling all the same. the rest of her crew still stayed, to watch out for any attackers, but Ziza knew they where close enough to the city that they were safe.

Ziza stayed on the roof, taking in deep breaths. Using magic was strenuous on her body, but she had trained herself to be able to withstand the strain, even if just a bit more then others. Once she saw the remaining Gith fall back, she turend and looked ahead; the city of Sorl was within her sights. Once the Recettear got close enough, Ziza went down to Guyus adn took over the wheel. Guyus was good for tricky maneuvering during chases, but he was a meneace if he had to drive the Recettear in public areas. Ziza slowed down her rig to a manageable pace. She drove up to the gate, where she had to go though the tedious process of filling out her reason for being her, and she had to let the guards check her wares. "You know, while you're here, would you like to purchase something? I'm only going to be here for a short while, and my artifacts are one and only. As a fairy, I know how powerful each and every one of these are. With the Gith on there way, you'll need to buy what ever you can get." One of the guards made a snappy remark about how he should "Test out" the artifacts. "Well, it's only fair to warn you that these are no simple Artifacts. You can't imagine how many poor souls have died when they though they could just swing this magical blade, or just point the opening of a soul jar at something. Now, there is a way to prevent this, but information does not come cheap either." The guards stayed quite and let Ziza and her people though. She didn't get to go far; the Recettear was much too big to fit though the close streets of Sorl, and the refugees filled up most of the field space.

After much searching, Ziza managed to find a nice spot to rest the Recettear."Aight, ladies and gents. I have a meeting with the king. Mind the shop while I'm gone, kay? I'll be back to let you guys know what happens." Ziza made her way though the city, flying her way to the castle. She flew over large crowds, guards patrolling the streets, and soldiers marching to war. It didn't take her long to find the castle; she could hear the king's speech from outside. She descended to the castle steps, and walked in. She walked in the middle of his speech, but she knew enough of what he wanted; he wanted five people to come and escort his daughter to the Elvin kingdom. And more importantly, what kind of reward would be in store for anyone willing. After some men volunteered, Ziza flew into the air, and landed in front of everyone. She did not bow like the others, but walked casually towards the king. "Greetings, you majesty. If you would allow me to, I am more then willing to help bring your lovely daughter to the Elvin Kingdom. I have traveled there before from these lands, and I know many paths to take that will keep her safe. I am Ziza Recette; owner of the Recettear and master adventurer." She bowed towards the king, giving the others who volunteered a smile and a wink.

Noctis Lance Cypher

Noctis stood and raised his spear when the Githzerai stood up. "If this is some sort of attempt to prove the Githzerai are not as monsterious as they seem, then you are doing a horrible job at it. I would rather storm the heart of the Githzerai lands then allow one of them to think they could even come close to the Princess with the notion that they are here to be her "Guardian"." Noctis stood between Vincent and the royal family; Noctis has dealt with Githzerai assassins before, and they had tried similar acts of friendship. Noctis focused on Vincent only; the other two where the least of his worries, but the other elf bearing the mark of the Githzerai did peep his interest.

I can fight back monsters and save the day, but I'd rather teach others to fight to save them a lifetime.

Asura Hecatoncheires
Asura had been standing in the middle of everyone, not so strange given everyone's appearance. The room was filled with all sorts of freaks and monsters; too many for Asura to describe. The King and Princess sat at the front of the crowd on grandiose thrones; Asura could guess that the entire chair was worth more then the lives of a handful of people in this room. He pondered on this thought. "What purpose is there to hold a meeting of protecting the princess in such a lavish but tight room? Anyone with the mind to harm the royalty could very well do so here, no matter how skill these people are. One amateur explosion, and the entire place would come falling down faster then anyone here could possibly react."

Asura watched in silence as others volunteered; the first was a young human, who was standing next to the Princess. He was obviously a royal guard, probably trying to get favors from the king. "Another young human who wishes to adventure with his beloved Princess. How cliche." The next one was a Githzerai; a tall, white hair creature that the humans have been at war with. Vincent Cryssagrim, he was called. Asura had fought many Githzerai, and this one seemed no different other then being an Outcast. "A wild card. Most likely has ulterior motives for volunteering, which may involve the Princess's life." The next one to volunteer was an elf; He was named Dythus Ashizi, and he bared the emblem of the Githzerai on his shield. "A Githzerai sympathizer. How strange." Asura has met few, and they where fanatical. Asura hoped that he would not have to put down the both of them. The next one was a female Fairy; she seemed lax to the entire situation, though that may just be a facade. She was called Ziza Recette. "Ziza... I believe I once made a purchase at her store once before."

Almost immediately after Ziza introduced herself, the human guard sprung to his feet, and readied his weapon towards the Githzerai Vincent. Asura moved his way though the crowd, standing in front. "Lower your weapon, human. He may be a Githzerai, but if you are going to protect the princess as you truly say you are, then there should be no issue for you to put him down if he proves to be a traitor." Asura turned towards the king and bowed his head. "I am Asura Hecatoncheires; Golem, and was once known as the source of the Blood River Massacre. I hope to redeem myself from my past sins, and I would be more then glad to escort the Princess to Elvin lands." Asura crossed the lower and middle arms, leaving the top two arms up and clenching into fist. He could just feel the tension coming from the human; he was young and fool hardy, and most likely completely unprepared for whatever the Githzerai Army would actually put him though.

Eleanor Abigail Moriate

███████████████████████████████████████████████

One after the other seem to step out and volunteer their services. Some seemed to have ulterior motives and some must be in it for the adventure or money. None the less, Eleanor was sure that the only one who actually wanted her safe was Noctis though his actions now were not necessary. Another sigh escaped from her lips as she slipped off her chair and gracefully made her way over to Noctis as she tapped his shoulder. She whispered something along the lines of, "Leave him be" and then made her way back to her chair. She sat down and watched the last man who volunteered. He stood tall and big and was rather intimidating to those around him, though Eleanor simply found him interesting like she had found the others. Though of course, she wanted to go off and get something before her leave but she was unsure if her father would let her wonder off now.

Times like these, she wished she wasn't the princess and she wished she could roam around freely as a traveler. She did accept who she was though and soon got over her other desires. The room was quiet again, now that the five were chosen at last. These people standing before her and her father would accompany her on this journey though she knew that it would be a long one, with many obstacles and many near death experiences whether for her or the others.

Some of those who came began to leave the room, the room seeming much larger now that there were less occupants. Soon enough, only the five would be standing before them but for now, the audience was still there, watching. They all watched like she watched them though at times her glance would look so distant that it seemed she was watching something else, something that no one else could see.

King Moriate

More volunteers stepped forward, each more and more unusual. An elf, a fairy, a golem, and... 'A Gith?' Moriate thought to himself, caught off guard by the unusual occurrence. He was Gith, yes, but according to the golem, he was an Outcast. But that didn't mean anything. He would have to look into this more. The same went for the rest of the volunteers. Of all of them, the only one whom was truly trustworthy was Noctis. Not only had he proven his ability, he was also human, which was more than any of the others. However, he was young, as his outburst proved. Eleanor did her best to calm him down, but Moriate could see the young man was struggling to contain his emotions. But the more pressing matter had to be addressed.

"This is something that I must ask of all of you, and you most especially, Gith called Vincent, and Golem called Asura. What do you hope to gain by escorting the Princess? As you all see, excluding Noctis, you are all of varying races, not human. I have no reason to trust any of you." His gazed narrowed on Vincent. "Least of all one of the race of our enemy." None of them had any real attachments to the kingdom, no real reason to help. Of course, for Asura the golem, he wanted redemption for his sins. The elf would be returning to his homeland. The fairy... She could have any motives. But the Gith? For all Moriate new, he could simply be a spy that would assassinate Eleanor the next chance he was given. Though Moriate was initially glad that five had volunteered, he was wary of those very people.

[[OOC: Man, it' hard to reply to everyone at once. DX I'll get more creative in my next post.]]

"I do not wish anything." The snow haired elf answered, he didn't even want to return to the home of the elves, he was an outcast due to the people that raised him being Githzerai, and Asha was one too, his shield even had the symbol of one of the clans on it. His black cloak was really an addition to the mystery he was adding to himself. "I do not believe I will gain anything." Dythus continued, his voice still as chilling as ice. "I will ask nothing, but a chance. A chance to prove my worth." Since Dythus was behind all of them he removed his shield and showed the king his Githzerai symbol and quickly put it back before anybody else could see it. "A chance to prove I am not a threat to any human under your rule." Dythus then actually responded to the question truthfully. "But also...I hope to gain your favor, so humans under your rule will leave Asha, and any others of her kind alone while they follow you."

Dythus pointed back at Asha, a Githzerai and the love of his life, he couldn't help but be distracted by the long black hair framing her young face, even as a Githzerai she didn't appear too different from a human, but people knew, and they always acted the way humans would. "You see, your majesty, I want nothing other than just one chance to gain your favor." Dythus also wanted to stop the current battles raging across the land, he spoke the language of the Gith, prehaps he could reason with someone if he got the chance, anyone. His crimson eyes were alight with a fire that hadn't surfaced since the first time he picked up a sword.

"Then again...do I really need a motive to assist you? Do I need a reason?" Dythus asked, his cloak not allowing his expressions to be seen. "Let me ask you, my king, why do you think I want to come along other than what I've stated?" Dythus asked, his black blade shining in the light and what was left of the crowd was in awe. Dythus made sure to get his points across and made sure every word he'd spoken to the king meant something, he was...as far as elves go...impressive. Dythus made sure to keep his shield hidden now, he didn't want any of the others to see it as it may raise some questions. "I was born in to the service of your kingdom, your majesty, I know where my loyalty lies, and even if you don't believe that I am still an elf, and you say the elves will accept her, yes? Then I have no reason not to assist."
