"Sure thing! Ryan---" She started "Remember to throw more punches." Well..he didn't say when to remind him.
At his question, she cocked her head to the side if thought. "Its possible that I might be." Oh, but she was. Kat may be inexperienced in battle, but if she knew anything about combat, it was to immobilize your opponent. Go for there knees and arms. Anything to keep them from moving. Ryan..seemed to be doing the same.
Falling forward, she braced herself, falling onto her arms before she could hit the ground. Springing back up, she aimed her gun for his other knee, and pulled the trigger. HP: 17/40

Ryan gave her a bland look before rolling his eyes.
"Great, just what I need. A smart a**." He sighed and moved to strike at her wrist, only to miss when he realized that she was also going for a shot. Only he, like the stupid idiot he is, froze and just stood there as she pulled the trigger, successfully landing a hit on his other knee.
"Damn it Kat!" He clamped his teeth together, refusing to give her the satisfaction of seeing him cry out in pain, but damn! This was going to make walking a b***h!

Snickering at the medic, Kat dodged his attack with ease this round, watching as he stumbled a little when he took the shot in the knee. "Sorry, Ryan." She murmured walking up to the boy before shooting him again, this time in the foot. "To be fair, you already tore up my ankle pretty good." She grinned, retreating back to give them space again.HP: 17/40

The moment she shot his foot, he dragged it back, in an attempt to save it from any further damage she might have caused it. Unfortunately, this only succeeded in causing himself more pain.
"You are so not sorry!" He retorted through gritted teeth, as he practically hopped on one foot. "And it wasn't my fault that you practically crushed my ankle..." He added in his defense, swiping at her again and barely managing to land a scratch.
He couldn't tell if this was a spar, or if she was just toying with him at this point.

Snickering, she danced around him, dodging most of his attack. "Ryan~" She practically sung, grin wide. "Your swiping again~" She laughed, making a kitty like gesture with her hand. The poor boy would probably leave with a complex after all this.

All motivation to attack was lost when she began making cat like motions at him. What what she doing now? And when exactly was she going to start taking this battle seriously?
"Thank you for the reminder..." He grumbled. "Now can we fight seriously?" He asked.

Grin spreading across her lips, she held back a small snicker of amusement. Acknowledging his request, Kat shrugged and drew her weapons to aim at his shoulders. "As you wish."HP: 16/40

Ryan twisted his body in a desperate attempt to dodge the oncoming attack. Which thankfully worked. Or, it almost did. Though he avoided any serious damage from Kat's bullet, he still wound up with a long gash from across his shoulder from where the it grazed him. Nothing serious, but like the other wounds he acquired from the spar, it was going to hurt for a while.
Once he recovered from the attack, he too moved in to strike the sun trainee. This time, coiling his fingers into a fist and bringing it up and under her chin.
HP: 12/40

It was times like this, Kat was thankful to be agile on her feet. However, not quick enough to dodge the oncoming blow from Ryan. If anything, she was a little more surprised by the attack, enough so that she pulled the trigger without thinking. A wild shot, missing Ryan with ease. "Heh," she breathed, rubbing at her chin with the back of her hand. "Its about time you started throwing punches, rather than scratches."
She could tell this fight would be other soon. If not for him, it would be for her. As much as she wanted to draw out the fun, she could feel her strength begin to weaken.HP: 12/40

Ryan flinched a little when she aimed for him again. Though before he could even think up his next curse word, the shot flew past him... far past him. Either that was a wild shot, or she was toying with him again and with Kat, it was difficult to determine which.
:If you have time to think about that, you should keep on her! Take too long and she'll take advantage of your slow mind and bust a cap in your a**!:
Ryan rolled his eyes, only to follow up with a rude sound at Kat's jest. Why did everyone feel the sudden urge to tease him..? Better yet, why couldn't he have gotten a sword, or spear, or---something other than gauntlets!?
:Be grateful for me! I chose you remember? You lowly b*****d, you're not worthy of me!: Locke's voice was sounding very pompous now. The little s**t probably thought he was the best thing in the world.
Pfft! Yeah right.
"You keep saying crap like that, but these are clawed tipped gauntlets... its only natural I use them in such a manner...!" He complained, feeling the need to defend himself as he threw a second punch. Which thankfully clipped her shoulder.

:Get a move on Kat! Finish this battle already!: Merely grinning in response to Xedis's demands, Kat broke into a laugh when Ryan spoke again. It was true, his weapons were clawed gauntlets, but it was just too easy to taunt the boy. No doubt, she was pissing the hunter off, and she would most likely not become good friends with him--maybe even the opposite.
"I suppose that's true. But still..you have to admit--its kind of funny!" Moving to block his oncoming attack, the sun hunter winced as he clipped her shoulder. That was going to sting like hell for a few days. In response to his actions, Kat whirled around and fired a round at him as he passed her by.

Her taunts were indeed pissing him off. Still he tried to keep a level head, despite the taunts.
"WHAT'S FUNNY ABOUT IT!?
Tried was the keyword.
"I don't get it!" He ground his teeth together out of frustration, this time kicking at the sun trainee before he swiped the clawed tips across her shoulder. Any other day, this might have been amusing--then again maybe not.
