Clan Name: Kaima (海魔; Literally meaning "Ocean Demon")
Village: Otogakure, KirigakureUser Image
Element Affinity: Water only
Description of Clan: Ninja being able to change their form into that of a sea creature.
Physical Appearance: Those in the Kaima clan usually have teal or aqua colored eyes, and really small, fragile teeth.
History: Originally from the Land of the Sea, the clan originated as a form of one of The First's experiments, in hopes to create a underwater super-soldier, possibly to counter the Hoshigaki. The first people had no choice in the matter, being abducted villagers and seafarers. Eventually, The First abandoned the experiment, focusing on other 'pressing matters.' His scientist, Amachi, remained in charge of the project, and soon got power hungry, hoping to make his own underwater army to capture the trade routes, claiming he would one day be more powerful than Orochimaru. Needless to say he was captured and spent the rest of his days in incarceration, however, the project lived on and soon they escaped from their prison in Sea Country.

Spreading throughout the continent in their schools, they settled in many places surrounded by water. Many moved towards the islands surrounding Kirigakure, while others went to Otogakure in search of a cure or to show their loyalty.
Habits and Social Structure: Being mostly water individuals, they have branched off into other groups. Those in Kiri call themselves 'schools,' and those near Oto call themselves 'clouds.' Though the word is interchangeable and is often a misconception. There is no one ahead of the other, and when a decision is to be made, they take a vote and the majority wins.Those that have settled around Kirigakure, have grown a fond rivalry with their shark cousins, the Hoshigaki, though the Hoshigaki would never consider them such, seeing them as almost a nuisance.

They don't care to each much besides fish, their teeth hardly able to eat much else. They tend to eat fish whole while transformed and swimming in large bodies of water, else wise they will eat it with proper utensils.

Quirks and Special Features: In recent years, some have been 'cursed' with having some of their Kaima form, exposed even when in their human form, such as gills, fins, scales or teeth.

Description: The Kaima clan was originally created to be the superior underwater soldier. Using this jutsu, the clan member transforms into their 'creature of the black lagoon' form, allowing them to breathe underwater and swim with ease.

Physical Description: Tall and very thin, as is normal to their clan. Her skin is very pale and soft to the touch. Everything about her is kept clean, adding to her creepiness porcelain appearance. Her fangs and nails are constantly being sharpened. Though everything about her is abnormal, she has a physical attractiveness.
Clothing: She even dresses like a doll. She wears extravagant dresses that frills out around her. Her legs are covered with white tights and either shin-high black boots, or black flats.
Background: Ask her, she may tell. Odds are she won't...
Personality: Six words: Blunt, Stoic, Sexual, and utterly creepy. You would think with these words, she would get herself into trouble. Well... in most cases it gets her out of the trouble they get herself into. She refers to people as 'toys' and is not afraid to put anything 'out there.' Multiple balls of fire are sent at the target. It is also possible to hide shurikens within the fireballs, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack.

Damage: 12 – 30 + chk mod per ball that lands.
Reflex DC: 12 + chk modifier + 2 per 10 ranks in Ninjutsu. Roll a Reflex check for each fireball.

Training: 3 stages.
Stage I: Chakra Control DC 35 Generate the fireballs with a focus on speed and accuracy. Aim for 2-3 in quick succession.

A powerful jutsu that uses large amounts of wind nature chakra that can cut and slash through any material. The user gathers chakra in one hand, and then swipes a slicing chakra wave. The user is able to use this jutsu in rapid succession.

Stage III: Ninjutsu DC 25 Sharpen the gusts using your chakra to turn them into wind blades.
Special: User can fire one wave per 5 levels in Chakra Control. Succesful hit will cause target to bleed, taking 6 hp damage per turn until it is treated. Critical strikes cause severe bleeding, target taking 12 hp damage per turn.

Fūton: Kaze Dama (Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball)
This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. Given the light weight of the ball and it's nature, the user can easily adjust it's trajectory in mid air to close in on the target. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock.

Headband: She normally doesn't wear it, but it is of the Hidden Leaf with a red cloth. She keeps it stored in her pack until whatever is going on in Konoha is restored to normal.
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 104 lbs.
Hair: Long dark brown hair. Reaches to about the knee. She typically wears it in a ponytail, with the rare occasion of wearing it down over her shoulders.
Eyes: She has dark brown eyes that seem to reflect the light almost perfectly.
Physical Description: Her skin is fair and naturally tan, which is perfect for her because she walks out in the sun all day. She is thin, but don't let it fool you. She is still a strong woman who is quick on her feet.
Clothing: When it is warmer outside, her top consists of nothing but a thick clothed, orange bikini and her bottoms an orange bikini covered by fish net leggings and a long sectioned orange skirt. She wears the same fish netting on her arms as well, and her feet are wrapped with cloth covered with orange ninja boots. When it gets colder outside she will wear a long sleeved, orange strapless shirt that goes just below her breasts, with black bikini-jeans with her orange ninja boots, and may on occasion be covered with a cloak. She always wears a fox mask on her head, whether it covers her face or not.
Background: When she was younger, her family had traveled a lot, mostly due to their line of work. With the abundance of wood products in Konohagakure, they found it to their benefit to trade with a different country in need of the wood. Otogakure, as most of the land is rice fields with little amount of trees, besides what grows on the mountain and in Kumo Forest. Since the Kumo Forest is infested with spiders and snakes, most people tend to stay away from it, especially since the term snakes could mean anything after the first Otokage arrival. So for teh sake of their safety they import the wood from Konoha... at least, those willing to. She went along with her father and mother every time, since there was no other family member left to watch over her. She traveled to Oto until she was nine years old. That was the beginning of the changes that brought her today's life.

She was caught kissing her old friend, Miyako, who she had met one day while playing around the mountain, while her parents were doing business in the village, as they always did. What it meant to her, she didn't quite know. They both were shocked when Miyako's father had found them. He took Rose back home to her father and explained what they had caught her doing. Her father, not in as much of a fuss as Miyako's father assured him that they would no longer take the route passed their house and had forbade Rose from seeing her, as it was best for her to find someone else. That was the last she ever saw her.

Year had passed and the trade wasn't getting any better. With the war breaking out in the fire country, the wood was being needed everywhere. The fire daimyo needing it for weapons, forts, bases, outposts, anything and everything. Her family occasionally would get the chance to return to Otogakure, however, with the war spreading, getting caught selling resources to other villages could be seen as a crime, and so they tried to avoid it, but money was getting tight and they were in desperate need of the money. That started her second event that ruined her life. On the way out of the fire country, a battalion of soldiers had stopped them and asked what they were planning to do with the wood they were moving. They tried telling them lies, but they knew better and could read right their very soul. They were all taken into custody, the wood given to the army of the daimyo, and they were to be tried in court.

That began the third event that destroyed her soul. They were tried and deemed traitors of the fire country for aiding another village.

Personality: She is very serious, with a few spouts of humor, but when she does, it is usually dirty or sly. She loves riddles or any kind of mind games. She is an overall nice woman, but step on her too often and you'll have to answer to her more evil side. She loves to think things through before moving forward, and likes to pick the most devious way.
Other: Her sexual orientation is a mystery. She'll flirt with either sex, but whether she is really interested or not is unidentifiable.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)
This technique, using a contract, seal, and the user's blood, binds a being to the user. The type of being is determined by the contract and Seal performed. The blood is used as a signature to make the contract, which can be written on a scroll or tattoo, valid. Once bound, the being can be summoned with a blood sacrifice to perform a task or help the user in battle.
The summon usually is subservient to the summoner. However, the more powerful summons demand respect and loyalty from their summoners. Some may even demand hundreds of live human sacrifices.
Other types of summonings include even powerful objects, such as the Rashōmon gates. For more information, check the "Summoning Contracts" thread.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported.
Cp cost: 15 or 1 per ft

Training: 2 stages
Stage I: Dexterity DC 15 {d20 + dex mod} First of all, a ninja much be able to run fast. Get your speed up to scratch rookie!
Stage II: Chakra Control DC 20 Now practice fielding your chakra towards your leg muscles to enhance their power. If done right, you should move at an accelerated pace with minimal side effects.
Special: When rolling initiation checks or racing, or anything that involves speed, add chk mod to the dice roll. Does not nullify Stealth checks.

Katon: Bakukadan (Fire Release: Exploding Flame Shot)
By creating a spark of fire release chakra from their hands, this jutsu allows the user to throw multiple balls of orange flame from their hands, which are able to cause fiery explosions on impact. The shots can also light the opponent on fire.

Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique)
This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.

The Nodachi is a really big and long katana mostly used to deal with cavalry in open ground combat, however the sword can be also used for normal combat by skilled people.
Damage: 5 - 16 + 1.5x str. mod.
Range: Melee + 5 ft.
Special: +2 to Dodge Bonus and blocking checks. Can be used while mounted on a horse. Causes Bleeding upon a critical hit.

Senbon (x200)
The senbon was first used by doctors in acupuncture, it was then adopted by ninja and Hunter-nins to hit points on the body to cause death, deaden limbs or cause their target to fall unconscious.
Damage: 2 - 4 + dex. mod.
Range: 30 ft.
