She stood back up and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Redgrave. Please take a seat on the chair or fountain. I have to go over some rules with you. Things I cannot do and places I cannot be, sadly..."She sat back down on the fountain and crossed her legs. Once Zeke sat down she said, "I cannot go outside. It's forbidden for me to go outside. I don't like this rule... since there is too many thieves trying to get to me. If you need anything, you may ask the maids, butlers or myself. My parents are normally away, busy with royal matters."She paused for a moment and asked,"Why did you take this position? Men your age would have a woman that loves them by now."She looked at him curiously with her ears perked up. Zeke Redgrave  Zeke shot her a small smile. "Just call me Zeke. Mr. Redgrave makes me feel old." He joked. He listened to her story about not being able to go outside, and he felt bad for a bit. He had the freedom that she seemed to crave, even if he got it from his parents' deaths. As soon as she mentioned why he got the job, he scratched his head. "Well, I don't exactly have the most extravagant background, Kumiko. I lived off the streets before I got this job. My parents died when I was young, so I've been sort of struggling. I had a lot of freedom, but the way I got it makes me kinda sad when I remember it." He told her. "As for having a woman, most girls tend to look down on the street rat who runs across rooftops, despite the fact that it's physically impossible." He added, with a sheepish chuckle.

Hearing that he had lived outside all his life, she felt envious but sad at the same time. Having dead parents must hurt and tough, having to fend for yourself day after day. Her ears lowered and she had a sorrowful expression, "I'm sorry... That you grew up with no one around to care for you. And you had to fend for yourself day after day. Well, I'm glad that you have gotten this job. Here, you will be fed, have a comfortable place to sleep and have people that are willing to be around you."Once she heard that women rejected him because he had lived on the streets all his life, she looked down, closed her eyes and shook her head slowly."That's terrible..."She started."Some women expect too much. They judge someones living habits than to look in their heart. Just because you're a street rat doesn't mean you are a bad person. Just like I'm a Princess. But that doesn't mean I act arrogant, selfish and high standards, like other princesses and prince's. With your body build, I wouldn't be surprise that you could jump rooftops. Besides, maybe a maid will fall in love with you. Most maids talk about finding a kind, well built man. Maybe you and another will get lucky."She looked up at Zeke and gave him a warm smile. Kumiko's tail swayed again and her ears became relaxed. Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled at the kind words of the girl before him.She wasn't as judgemental as most of the women he had met. Hell, she was actually as accepting of his history as he was of her being a uni-person. "Thanks for the support. I'm glad to be here and have someone nice to work for." He told her. He was glad to have a job with someone like Kumiko, and not someone who would be a hardass. Maybe she was right. There was more to people than titles or life habits. She was proof of that. As for finding a nice girl, he wasn't really here for that, but who knows? Maybe he'd find a girl who would accept him for who he was, like Kumiko seemed to.

Zeke Redgrave Zeke shook his head. "Nah. I'm not the overprotective type. Besides, I'm not wearing shoes, either." He told her. "As for the offer for lunch, sure. I've worked up a real appetite from freerunning." he added. The young man was eager to get some food in his belly, to the point that his stomach was loud enough for Kumiko to hear. He was a bit embarrassed by that part, but he didn't care. He was just happy to get some food.

That was rude of me to laugh. Come on, this way." She lead the way to the kitchen and showed him the fridge. "Please help yourself to the fridge. Anything you like Zeke. You must be really hungry."Kumiko opened the fridge and grabbed an apple and started eating. She loved apples and other fruits and veggies. She was a vegetarian. She sat down on the stool at the island in the center of the kitchen. She leaned on the table as she ate her apple. Kumiko looked out the window, seeing the outside, watching the light breeze blow the grass and leaves on the trees. Her ears lowered a bit and her tail swished side to side a bit. ☀`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´♕`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´☀

Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled as he went to the fridge. He grabbed himself some apples and joined Kumiko at the table, eagerly taking a bite of his first apple. The man needed this so much, since he'd gone without food for a while. He smiled as he watched the calm scenery. Sure, it wasn't as fun and active as freerunning, but everyone needed to take time and relax every once in a while. Zeke was glad to be here, taking a break for once,since his life was beyond hectic. He was thankful to Kumiko and her family for so readily taking him in. It kinda made him feel bad that he was here to get rich off of Kumiko.

She took another bite as a butler came into the kitchen and stood next to her. "Princess Kumiko. Your parents will not be joining you and Mr. Redgrave for dinner tonight. Something came up." There was a moment of silence and Kumiko's ears lowered. She nodded and said, "Alright. It must be something more important. I understand."The butler bowed and left the kitchen. She looked down at her apple and sighed again. She might as well be parentless. She never really got to spend time with her parents. There was always a nanny or maid keeping her company while her parents were busy. She looked at Zeke and said, "This may sound crazy..."She paused and looked down again"Sometimes I wish to be kidnapped if it wasn't for the slave market in the two day trip... I'm more like a prisoner here. People outside think I have the life that anyone could possibly want. I actually don't. I never really see my parents, I can't go outside and I'm forced to royal duties that I wish not to attend. Prince's from different lands have came to the kingdom to ask my hand in marriage. But when a lot didn't like the way I looked as others weren't phased by my looks. They didn't like the fact that I don't act like a Princess. Zeke Redgrave Zeke was stunned by the fact that Kumiko had even said this, and even more so that she was telling him, a complete stranger, about this. "Why tell me, of all people? I mean, we didn't even meet too long ago." He asked her. Sure, he could understand the fact that her parents were never around, and she was always stuck in the castle doing royal stuff, but he didn't think she'd go this far just for freedom. After seeing how different and accepting she was, he couldn't really bring himself to sell her to some slave market, but he needed money somehow. He could tell that all she wanted was a life of her own, and she would give anything to get it. The thought of taking her out of here crossed his mind, but that would be very risky, since the entire kingdom would be at his throat. Still, if he could help the poor girl, he would.

Besides, you see trustworthy. I know we just met but I'd like to consider you as a friend. My first believe it or not. If I told anyone else, the maids, butlers or my parents, they would lock me in my room with more guards. I feel as if I'm in a bird cage now. I wish not to be sealed away in a box forever..."She looked back up at Zeke and said sounding very worried, "I'm sorry that if it sounds so sudden. It's just a silly wish."Her ears lowered and her tail stayed still. Zeke Redgrave Zeke couldn't help but feel bad for Kumiko after earing her story. He was also sort of honored that she would trust him with information like this. He wanted to help her, he really did, but the kingdom would be after his head if he even tried to get her out of the castle. "No, I understand that being sheltered for so long can get tiresome. I glad you could trust me with something like this." He told her. "Anyway, the tour sounds good. I'd like to see the kingdom as soon as I can." He added. If he was going to be her bodyguard, he would need to know more about the castle.

Anyway, lets get started on that tour, shall we?"She smiled a bit and got up. She stretched and said, "You can bring your apples if you want."Kumiko headed out the door with Zeke and went into different rooms. She showed him the dinning room, meeting room, art room, ball room, music room, maids and butlers quarters. She goes upstairs and showed him her parents room the bathrooms, her room and next to her room was the bedroom. She opened his bedroom door and said, "I hope it's comfortable to you, Zeke. Zeke Redgrave Zeke nodded, taking his apples with him. He looked around every spot she took him to, and everything was extravagant, although it still felt a bit dull to him. The young man looked around his new bedroom with a smile. "This is real nice. Thanks." He told Kumiko, rollong onto the bed and lazing about for a few seconds. He enjoyed the feel of having a nice warm bed again. He'd missed it for so long. Zeke was already going to have a good life here, so why even try to kidnap the poor girl? Hell, she was incredibly nice to him, and she was a lot more accepting than most people he knew.

The grass, trees, sky, clouds."Her ears perked up as she waited for Zeke to answer her.
