Eventually a balance would be found, once the hunger was satisfied or once he realized he had learned all he could and could only gain more knowledge through maturing and gaining in rank. Right now it was the newness of this all which lead and guided him, the need to know he was right and have proof to this. A need, a hunger, to understand this whole situation which he had chosen to get involved in. But surely he would mature and stop poking his nose into dangerous places, or the places would become less dangerous. He was young and had a longer path to travel down, there was no telling what would happen along the path and who he'd become. But surely he would mature. He had simply picked the safer poison, he sought knowledge not power through scheming or any other such things. He sought to better inform himself and find out whatever little things he could to aid others.
While he did, without a doubt, want to become physically stronger he wasn't the sort to wish for the limelight nor was he the type to play games in the dark with others. He'd grow and mature and surely be a good weapon once the process was done. Until then he just needed to know as much as he could, and become physically stronger and more sure of himself; as opposed to being arrogant. Eventually those things, the need to know, would dim and the need to fight and do whatever was necessary for the Negaverse would take hold; it was a matter of time.
"I'm glad I was able to find this out and tell you. Hopefully no more become like her, it would not be good...but as you said, it's something we can handle." He had faith in her words. They, though not precisely him, could handle this situation. "Alright...a nap sounds good. If your going back out be safe."

Gently shook her head.
She would stay in and look out for him, make sure nothing happened to her kitty captain. It was cute and very fun, but if there was magic involved there was always a chance that something could get worse. She just wanted to make sure he got out of things okay.
Not that she would be able to do anything, watching over him or not, but that was beyond the point.
She leaned back and smiled, letting him sleep and dropping the conversation. She turned on the tv, low, and watched a movie before she nodded off on her own, slouced in the sofa and curled with a pillow in her arms.
