Pausing thier conversation for a few moments Zurine took the time to order one of the meals on the menu, it wasn't a large one - she didn't want to look greedy in front of her new friend - but it would suffice. Once she had been handed the paper bag containing her meal and they moved long the line towards the cashier she turned her attention back to Herryk.
"Battle?" she repeated in a slightly unsure tone - it wasn't that she was afraid of such things, I mean part of the reason she had come here was to grow stronger and she supposed that was all a part of it. "I don't know, I suppose I should it's just that..I'm a little bit clumsy sometimes" She admitted to him, it was a bit shameful really, padfeet weren't supposed to be so accident prone...but there it was."I don't know if I'd do very well"

"Practice is very important, Zurine. Herryk has never fought against a ghoul, but he has ghoul friends -- and a ghoulfriend -- that would be good to come up against in a spar." He smiled and escorted her to a small booth so that she could enjoy her meal.
"Has Zurine met any other students? Herryk knows a few good boils and ghouls that he could introduce her to -- it is not too hard to make friends in this school." Herryk sounded pleased by this fact. "Herryk met his first friend in this very maul. Lattice is a wonderful ghoul, and Herryk's best friend. Mort is a very nice boil." Herryk could go on and on about his friends, but he paused and kind of ... let her get settled in to eat before continuing.

" I suppose it is" Zurine agreed as she slid into the booth, it felt a bit odd to be eating when someone else wasn't but she shrugged it off - if he didn't need to eat then she doubted that Herryk minded when those around him who still did partook of the act. Taking a bite of her taco she swallowed before going on "Maybe I'll tke you up on that offer" Surely Herryks friends were as nice as he was and she doubted they would laugh at her tooo much when she stumbled about attempting to fight. And who knows..maybe she'd even get semi-good at it after a little while.
"I've met a few people - but mostly just in passing, I think I met more actually, he's a zombie right? We talked a little bit in the class I got thrown out of of. He seemed nice..a bit shy but very nice" She told him with a smile "I don't think I've met Lattice yet though, Met a chimera named Taryn..she's also somewhat Shy and an owlish boil called Muka who doesn't really seem to say much, though really it's mostly been small conversations here and there"

"Herryk knows of Taryn and Muka." He smiled and nodded, setting his purchases up on the table. Really there was only one boil that Herryk could think to warn Zurine about. One punk-assed little annoying boil.
"Zurine should stay away from Roch. He is a little hot-headed. He is also trouble just waiting to happen." Herryk shook his head and looked thoughtful. "There are many clubs to join, as well. Has Zurine thought about clubs that she would like to join? There is movie club and track and fitness club, too. Many different options. Herryk hopes to join bruteball the next time tryouts happen."

"Roch huh? I'll keep that in mind" Zurine stated, repeating the name to fix it into her memory just in case she did happen to run cross this Roch character - of course it could very well be that Herryk had just had a bad run in with this boil so she would try to keep an open mind about him but Herryk didn't seem the type to pass judgements on people for no reason, at the very least she had taken her teasing in good stead and that was always a good way to judge others character.
The conversation then turned to other more pleasant matters and Zurine was instantly interested in these clubs. "I bet you'll be great at bruteball" She told him with a laugh "Maybe I should become a Fearleader so that I can cheer you on or something at the games" Of course she had no real idea how to go about joining either the Fearleaders or any other club - and really she was most interested in the ones that were active and fun. "Are there any clubs that are really popular or active? I'd like to join some where I'd get the chance to meet a lot of other students"

Herryk laughed brightly at her compliment. "That is nice of Zurine to say," he beamed at the padfoot ghoul, a huge smile stretching across his face. "Herryk has an interest in movie club just because he hears that much fun is had there. Fun is always nice, yes?" His broad shoulders lifted in a shrug as he pondered over her question.
"If Zurine enjoys running and sports, there is the Track club. Herryk's friend Chuppi seems to be in charge of it." That thought had him asking his next question.
"Does Zurine have groanspring? It is a very good way to keep in touch with friends and clubs if Zurine has a phone or a laptop." He gave a sharp nod. "Herryk has a groanspring on his interwebs that is inside of his laptop. Mort is very good with technology if Zurine needs help?"

"Fun should never be turned down willingly" Zurine agreed with a sage nod of her head, and like most boils and ghouls her age she had always enjoyed movies - I mean really who didn't? Perhaps she would look this movie club up as well. Considering the track club she tipped her head slightly, she wasn't sure if she could be considered overly fast - but it would be a good way to get some exercise and stay in shape. "Maybe you can introduce us?" She asked brightly of this Chuppi fellow..though she wondered just how well she would do being well..somewhat clumsy. Ah well, might as well try right?
"I do have a Groanspring!" Zurine told Herryk happily and pulling over a napkin she borrowed a pen from one of the ghouls sitting behind them and wrote the address down for him. I check it now and again but I"m not really all that good with computery stuff" She admitted "Maybe I'll ask Mort to give me a few pointers"
