"More than you know," She replied, taking the hit with a brief wince from the pain before she stumbled backwards and closed her eyes, trying to ignore the throbbing of her head. When she opened them again, she shook her head, wiping away the trickle of blood from the side of her face using the back of her hand, "Don't call me that. My name is Ariane."

The smile was still there as Before pulled his weapon back to his side. "But I like calling you Boss. I think it really suits you," he insisted, giving Ariane a poke against her forehead.

"Take that nickname back. I don't want anything of yours," She visibly twitched at the poke before pushing the trainee back, as if she didn't want him to touch her, "You chose to ignore my advice like it was nothing."

Before's smile seemed to falter at that, "I haven't ignored anything. Haven't had the chance to ignore it." Teal eyes were suddenly unable to look at Ariane, his gaze fixed on the spot right in front of her feet. He didn't understand why she was so unhappy with him. So he had a couple more cookies than he should have. So what? He was happy! What was so wrong with that? His frustration was only visible in the mild tremor that quaked his shoulders as he took a blind swipe at the air, expecting Ariane to step back.

She felt Before's swipe... And was surprisingly calm as she desummoned her weapon, Kintama appearing around her neck as the necklace she was usually seen with as she grabbed the male's hands in her own, tackling him to the ground before sitting on him. Her grip on his hands tightened as she narrowed her eyes, pushing her elbow against his throat. She leaned towards him, staring into his eyes, "I don't usually care for people outside the unlucky two - heh, one - I had known for a long time."
Mostly because she didn't think she needed anyone else.
"You were one of the new unlucky ones," She continued, "Don;t worry though, you're lucky again. Go take all the cookies you need. Just remember that there is a reason why nobody else will eat them willingly despite how tempting they look." With that, she released him and climbed off him, dusting her coat down before walking away, heading towards the dorms.
'Don't you dare start.'
