"ha you sure talk a lot. all i hear is blah blah, eat me, blah blah. but hey i guess everyone is entitled to their lengthy opinions." Frost bite turned her back to Kismet. her tail was practically wagging with the delight of the game that was about to ensue. "ok here is your last chance to save your life. im such a generous person. if you scream like a little girl and run away i will not pursue you, in fact i will never think of you again and go the opposite way that you leave. or, if you are too proud for that i will eat you right here and now, and if you run i will chase you till you drop dead from exhaustion. i will hunt you back to your family, always follow you and always be at the fringe of your thoughts were you will know i am stalking you so you dont dare return home." she peeked over er shoulder to see the mares expression. a wicked smile spread across her face. she could hardly contain her joy at having found a new game. she was prepared to dedicate her life to haunting this mare if thats what it came down to. but if the mare screamed and ran away Frostbite yould stay true to her word and never think about the mare again. being honestly insane means that you are at least honest. Frostbite would never go back on her word.

So, just as she originally predicted, words would get her nowhere with such a being that circled around her. At least she was being herself and using some of the skills she learned as a foal, right? Unlike others, she was still standing here, still upright and still, even trying to be somewhat diplomatic in a situation where she would usually never even have the chance to be. Even in such a intricately negative situation, one, like herself, must always find something to cling to, something to praise herself with. She was proud of herself for lasting this long and being able to drag out their conversation with her words, even if they would inevitably fail her in the end. Yet, when words were exhausted and would no longer assist her, she knew what her last option could possibly be. She was not fearful at all to commit to such a thing, but she knew that should be a final resolution of sorts, although others like her predator may think otherwise...
"I am not over proud of myself, yet nor will I 'scream like a little girl'. For one, I do not even have the throat for such a scream, and for a second, I have already stated that I shall not appeal to such threats. Now, I will take up your offer on fleeing, but I shall not scream in the way you wish. As I've said before, I control my own fate, nobody else." For a strange reason of which she could not explain, she felt a rush of frustration and adrenaline surge through her veins, warming the layer just beneath the surface of her skin. She already knew she was pushing her limits, so why was she even considering pushing them some more? This was not her real self, she knew such a thing. Yet here she was, allowing her eyes to close delicately and turn her back to the Purewalker, even beginning to trot away from the scene in utter silence. what was she doing, and what could possibly come out of this?

Frostbite growled as she watched the mare walk away. before her lay an interesting option. she could continue to toy with the mare or she could just walk away and find something a little more interesting. she mulled it over for a breif moment then pranced after the mare. if the silly thing did not know how to scream then she could teach it. what a wonderful life lesson that would be. after all, if the mare never learned how to scream then how would anyone ever know if she was in danger or needed help. Frostbite smiled at the irony of her last thought. she caught up with the mare and without warning grabbed the mares tail between her teeth, then gave it a hard pull hoping to either startled the mare into screaming, or have the mare scream in pain. either way she did not care, she just wanted results.

sbuggy166 I apologize greatly for the wait! RL has been absolutely crazy and hectic as of recent! D: Only for the briefest of moments, Kismet had believed that she had actually won, that she had actually had managed to talk her way smoothly and calmly enough to either bore the Purewalker or to convince her. Could it really have been that simple? Would she truly be able to walk away from this without a singular scratch? Very few had ever even walked away from a Purewalker incident alive, let alone flawless! Something about this suddenly felt too easy.
She could sense the pawsteps approaching behind her once more, gliding through shadow. They kept approaching, swiftly and smoothly towards her, but neither Kismet's ears nor senses could estimate just how close they were. Without warning, she felt a tug and a spike of pain race up her spine as teeth clutched onto the hairs of her tail, and tugged hard. She let out a mix of a whinny and a horse-like roar in surprise, with just the slightest hint of rage, and instinctually lunged out behind her with her back hooves, hoping to push of her attacker with a sturdy buck of hers. She was not afraid of fighting, but she merely used it as an entirely pure self-defense or as a final approach to an issue, and if this was the only way she would get free, then she was more than happy to do so.

The wild kick had caught Frostbite completely unaware. the mare had been so anti-violent up until this point, so she had no reason to believe that he little tail tug would cause the mare to fight back. well she finally got what she had wanted, results. she got her scream from the mare, and she forced the mare into drastic action. oh, she also got a full blown kick to the head. it wasent anything serious, but the kick was well placed. not only did Frostbite let go of the mare's tail, she also blacked out. in her defense, it was only for a moment. the kick landed solid to the side of her head, lights out, she stumbled and hit the ground, then came to. Frostbite popped back up to her feet and looked around wildly for the mare. her head was swimming, but she could fight through it. oh and she was pissed, big time.

Although she did, in fact, instinctually kick out as if it was a muscle reflex of hers, she was shocked that one hoof had managed to and a hit right on the head of her assaulter. She was always known to have a strong kick when pushed too far, and this particular situation had not only pushed Kismet to her limits, but had now resulted in a last resort sort of solution that Kismet could control by herself, resulting with the action of her instincts. The very instant that Kismet had noticed that, however aimless, her strike had knocked her rival to the ground for the briefest of moments. With that, she took her chance, like any common-minded being, to make a run for it, aimlessly charging off in between the trees. She was lucky enough to have even the chance to escape a Purewalker interaction without a scratch on her, let alone with her life! Like anyone else with common sense, she began to take the opportunity to flee as fast as she could, weaving in and out between the trees of this deeply flourished landscape. All she knew for the time being was that Kismet had to put as much distance between her and her stalker as much as she possibly could if she wished to keep her life or her blood. If anything, Kismet definitely knew that her wild kick had not only thrown Frostbite off, but it more than likely enraged her, probably driving her kill or harming instincts. And where would those instincts be aimed toward? Kismet.

large claws ripped through the dirt as she ran after the mare. she let out a vicious snarl and escalated into a howl. the hunting howl mixed with bloody rage. she did not have to bother with scenting out the female, for her frightened tracks were easy enough to see in the soft forest floor. she ran over all of the things she was going to do with the mare when she caught up. she wanted to ripp out all of her hair and then bite off the leg that had dared hit her head. Frostbite let her mind wander into darker things as she could now smell the mares fear as she was closing in on her prey. the little flashes of the mares rear let her know that she was catching up.
