"Gosh darnit!" Kayla exclaimed as Snookie was once again frozen but it wasn't very much. Maybe the annoying rattata has not much left but Snookie was still frozen. Taking a deep breath, Kayla watched anxiously as she waits for Snookie to escape.

Snow whipping this way and that, Gangrel willed the onslaught down onto Snookie. Walpurgis drew his cloak tight about himself as he likened Gangrel's efforts to that of a great hero attempting to seal off a demon in a fantasy novel. He couldn't help but giggle at this.

It seemed that luck was on their side now as the rattata choked on the Blizzard and it turned out to be a dud. "Yes!" Kayla cried as Snookie took that oppurtunity to burst out of the mostly melted and cracked ice, teleporting to a safer distance.
"Now it's time for some payback." Kayla shouted. "Use Focus Blast!"
Snookie created another ball of energy but of a different sort. [You meanie!] He sniffed a little as the cold was getting to him after being in there so long. [No cookie for you!] With that, Snookie released the attack at Gandrel.

Gangrel was struck by the blast, but seemed unfazed as his trance-like controlling of the blizzard continued. With a slight nod, he again willed the flurry to Snookie, intent on capturing the legendary pokemon once again. It was the only chance he had.

Snookie teleported out he blizzard's attack direction and reappearing behind h rattata. With a sudden impish grin, Snookie put one of his from 'finger' in his mouth and wetted it up real good before shoving it in Gangrel's ear.! "Wet willy!"
Snookie giggled as he teleported again out of striking range in case he rattata retaliates. Kayla was half appalled and amused. "Snookie! Stop foolin around and use Focus Blast again!"
Snookie pouted a little but did as he was asked and sent another powerful energy ball at the mouse pokemon.

Gangrel twitched, yet remained expressionless after the rather... unorthodox attack. Walpurgis sighed in relief. Blasted by the blast, Gangrel's concentration faltered momentarily as rage returned to his face.
"Uh-oh."
But the tranquility returned to the rattata's face again as the frigid blast flew towards the rattata again. It seemed to Walpurgis that Gangrel had realized that the only chance he had was trapping the mew again.

Snookie giggled as he dodged the blizzard attack, finding this very funny as if it was some game. [You no get me. Ha! Too slow!] Snookie teased as he used the same 'finger' that did the wet willy and pulled down under his eyelid and stuck his tongue out in mockingness.
Kayls shook her head. He will get himself in trouble one of these days when a pokemon will not take his antics very well and give him a good beating but until that time comes, it will continue to happen. "Focus Blast again!"
Snookie was bouncing around by teleportation as he mocked Gangrel but at the last teleportation, the mew charged up and sent another wave of energy at the rattata.

Although he remained in a trance-like state channeling the snowstorm, Gangrel's breathing was slow and labored - the assaults were definetely taking their toll.
Walpurgis cringed as yet another Focus Blast slammed into Gangrel, watching helplessly as the mew continued to teleport away from the blasts of frigid air.
As if sensing the need to succeed with this attack, Gangrel didn't send the flurry at the mew, but rather at everything. Snow, ice and chilling winds swirled all about as the rattata tried to catch the mew - it all rode on the success of this attack. With a chatter that was more intense than usual, the speed of the winds increased, the heat draining from the arena.

Snookie could barely escape another Blizzard attack as he, too, was starting to weaken with each minute of the battle even if he was still more energetic than the rattata. Unfortunately, the Blizzard brushed against Snookie and the frozen blocks built all around the mew and slowly frozen him solid again. With his physic powers, the frozen mew once again descended slowly and safely.
Kayla could only watch now. Luckily for them though, the frozen state doesn't look like it would last long. Gangrel was almost too weak to do more than that it seemed. All she had to do now is wait for the right moment.

The flurry wrapped around Snookie in a desperate attempt to keep the mew trapped. If it got free even once, it was over.

Once again, Snookie found a weak spot in the frozen block around him and burst free. He didn't even get a change to breath when he had to dodge another Blizzard attack. The mew was no way going to be frozen again. Luckily for them, the dodge was successful.
"Nice work, Snookie. This is the last time and we will get you warm and take you some place for a treat. Use Focus Blast one more time!"
Snookie did not respond for a moment as he was trying to keep his shivering from getting out of control but he did as he was asked and unleashed the requested attack. He was quite eager to get the promised treat.

The snowstorm died out as Gangrel flew from the force of the Focus Blast. Walpurgis jumped down and caught him.
"Thanks for the battle. I'm sure Gangrel would be thanking you as well. If you'll excuse me, I've got to get him to a pokemon center."
With a nod of respect to both Snookie and his trainer, Walpurgis spun around to leave, cloak flapping dramatically.
