"Calypso, dodge it!!" Cara shouted, but as Calypso went to dodge, she was caught in the Zubat's tiny jaws. Cara winced a bit as Calypso cried out and waved her tentacles about, attempting to get her opponent off. 'Grrrr...damn confuse ray.' Cara thought to herself. "Calypso, use scald!" 'And lets hope this one hits...'

Zak didn't even need to tell Zue to dodge it for the bat was already on top of things. "Alright Zue lets hit them with a Wing attack!" The bat obeyed swooping down from his position above Calypso. "Calypso, try to dodge by grabbing some of the branches and hoisting yourself up!" Cara shouted. Calypso finally shook off the confusion just in time to manage to grab onto some low hanging branches and pulled herself up, dodging the attack. "Awesome, job! Now hit em with an Ice Beam!" Calypso nodded and shot the frozen beam straight at the bat. "Let's hope it hits this time..." Cara muttered to herself.

Zak winced as Zue was hit squarely with the tentacool's ice beam. It was obvious that the water pokemon was no longer confused. He couldn't have that happen so he ordered Zue once more. "DODGE IT CALYPSO!!" Cara yelled to the Tentacool. Calypso tried to swing out of the way of the confuse ray but she wasn't quick enough. "Dog damnit, not again!!" Cara yelled, losing her temper and getting frustrated. She wasn't mad at her pokemon, she was more frustrated at herself for not seeing this coming. "Gotta keep trying....hey wait a second! Use Haze to get out of that funk!" Cara shouted, happy she remembered that move. Calypso released a haze of chilled air out into the atmosphere surrounding herself and Zue.

Zak watched as the opposing pokemon hit itself once more, confusion seemed to be their greatest weapon in this battle thus far. Cara face-palmed herself as Calypso smacked herself. "Oi vay...It's going to be one of those battles isn't it?" Cara saw the oncoming attack and Calypso apparently didn't. "Calypso MOVE IT!!" Calypso tried to dodge but got bit anyway, she flailed her tentacles around in an effort to get Zue off of her. Cara sighed, "Try using Ice Beam!!" The tentacool 'seemed' to understand as she readied her shot.

(You added 100 hp to you pokemon instead of taking it away Calypso should have 600 hp leff) Zue let go and then dodged and before Zak could give an order the bat used Shadow Ball, countering the flailing tentacool's missed attack. ((whoopsies, fixed it. Thanks for telling me. Im running out of things to write.))
Calypso managed to move away from Zue after the shadow ball attack. Cara sighed, this battle was going nowhere and fast. Hopefully Confusion would wear off soon. "Calypso, use Scald!!"

Oh how he loved using Confuse ray for this very reason. "Alright Zue give her another Shadow Ball." It was time to get serious this battle had been lasting quite longer then he expected it to last. First he'd lower her defense and then go in for the finishing blow. "Calypso come on! I know you can do this!" Cara urged. Calypso then shook her head and looked around, as if wondering what as going on. "Thank goodness, it looks like you snapped out of your confusion. Lets get this moving again. Use Scald!" Calypso nodded and aimed the burning hot liquid straight for Zue, after getting hit by the shadow ball.
