╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The dirty blonde smirked. Walking to a tree and back? Huh, this should a be a sitch. It didn't looked hard at all. But why? He held his head up, as if he was some type of royal and began to walk. He felt ridiculously. He listened to him self walk. He wasn't exactly light on his feet, he made subtle crunching noises, but he didn't walk to...heavily either. He didn't make obnoxiously loud unnecessarily noise when he walked. He supposed that his key to staying invisible or unseen by most of the people around 12 was because of his ability to walk without much noise. He headed to the tree and walked back to her, striking a ridiculous pose for her entertainment. " SO what do you think Scar, think I am gonna be Panem's Next Top Male Model?" He joked sarcastically wondering how she thought he walked, hopefully he walked good enough for her liking, He nodded. Amazing, huh? Really. Well it must be if she loved archery so much. It seemed entertaining. He had watched the games for years, watching people with their bows, shooting targets from, far, far away. It was almost ridiculous. But it was very cool. "I don't know if I can do this...Scarlet." He teetered nervously, saying her full name. He didn't think he would be very good with a bow. He just remembered something. Something that was actually quite important none-the-less. "Uhmm..Scar? What do I do? I kind of don't have a bow..I don't want to use yours in cane I like break it or something." He said with a shy smile. His eyes lit up when she mentioned knifes. Being the butcher's son, he was fantastic with knifes. His cut work was impeccable and clean. He could cut or slice his way through trouble if he wanted...he decided not to mention it though. She geniulary looked clueless. "Sound slike a capitol thing, though. Dressing people up." She said, and began to laugh.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Cross nodded curtly in response. He smiled a little. It seemed as though his walking was not so terrible after all. At least he might be able to walk and not scare away everything in his path. That made it a lot better...right? He only hoped that he could. Hunting would be a great way to provide for his family. He seriously needed that meat, he hadn't had GOOD meat in a long time. He shook his head. "Naw, the Capital is too flashy. It would be some kind of pipe dream to get me out of this rat hole. But hey, to be honest what is good about the Capital anyways? I mean...everyone looks happy, but the people look like they are all..I don't know, ur, hiding something, who they really are. Sorry I don't know if that makes sense." He replied with a casual shrug of his shoulders. He smiled as he held the bow. He looked it over like a precious artifact. Careful not to break it or crush anything he shouldn't. He tried not to look foolish even though he had no idea how to shoot anything off of it. "So, how do you put the arrow in and stuff?" ｓｃａｒｌｅｔx ｋｎｉｇｈｔ Scarlet smiled. "Tryt to keep our posture stright, while holding yur head up, and creeping along." She suggested. "Or light shoes." She laughed. "Oh, and watch where you step."She suggested. "Try to not step on and branches, and you'll be good." She nodded. "That's about it."
She nodded. "Have you ever been there?" She asked. There must be some exception to the rule of only some poeple traveling there. "I think that that actually made seese." She said, laughing. "Nice one." She smiled.
She shook her head, carefully taking the bow from him. "Hold it horizontally first. Then place an arrow in, then turn it vertical." She showed him. "Then aim, and shoot." She smiled, pulling it back and letting it go, letting the arrow hit the canter fo the tree in front of them, about tweleve feet away. "Now you do it." She sure did know a lot about hunting. but then again she had probably been hunting her entire life and what not. Whereas, Corey had been hunting for maybe 5 seconds? He smiled taking note of how to walk not to scare away the hunt and what not. If he scared away her game, then he would be pretty pissed. This was Scar's source of food..he didn't want her to be hungry so he made sure to pay attention. "Got'cha. Thanks Scar, I promise not to walk like some kind of crazy monster thing." He smiled in reassurance. He nodded. "Thanks I have been thinking about that one for a while." He said staring at his feet for a bit, trying to bridge the awkward silence. He hated the silence...but he was awkward so he couldn't really prevent it. He was glad she did as the bow was taken out of his possession. He watched her as she shot the far-ish away tree. "Impressive, Mrs. Scarlet." He said actually very impressed by her skills. He was nervous but gave it a shot. He Held the bow and placed the arrow in, doing exactly what she did. He realized the arrow a bead of sweat tricking down his forehead. He shoot the arrow and squinted trying to see where it landed. He was a bit short and the arrow landed about 3/4 of the distance to the tree. "Damnit. Told you I would screw up." ｓｃａｒｌｅｔx ｋｎｉｇｈｔ Scarlet smiled. "Just remember the tips, and walking is a check plus for you." She laughed. "Alright." The monsters that came to her mind were not Drangons or Cyclopes in stories, but the Capitol's peacekeepers. Peace keepers, yeah right. More like death keepers. "A check plus is good in my book, just so you know."
Scarlet couldn't help but give a small smile when she saw he was impressed. She'd only practice archery for a month now, and with this tree. So, it wasn't that hard. "Now you try. Remember everything?" She asked' watching.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Corey smiled at her. "A check plus, huh? Thanks Scar that means a lot." He said genuinely. His eyes scanning over where the arrow had landed. He just needed a bit more precision in his aim and he would be home free. He squinted at the tree. he knew he could do this. It wasn't too far away...he was just un focused. Yeah...that was it.
He could do this...he could do this...he could do this...he thought to himself. He lifted his bow from it's down ward position and straightened himself out. He was in the zone. He was determined to a point where he couldn't even hear or see anything. He shot the arrow. Victory. Hit the tree. He dropped the bow. "I got it." He smirked cockily and winked jokingly.
He looked at Scarlet's face and he felt something in the pit of his stomach. It was weird he had never really felt it before. It was kind of like a nervous, fluttering but yet it was kind of satisfying. He looked away before things got awkward. "So...uhmm...I uhmm like the shirt your wearing." Thomas Collins had Hid bow out and had an arrow out ready to fire. He had heard voices a while ago and was trying to find the source of them. Pretty soon he spotted someone about thirty feet ahead of him.
She looked to be about hia age and height. She had longer white hair that Thomas thought was beutiful. He whistled to her not out of dis respect but to let her know he was coming. "Don't shoot. I'm not part of the capitol." Thomas said as he got closer.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Corey heard footsteps behind him. He had his bow...which he barely knew how to use in his hands ready to shoot. Perhaps it was a Peacekeeper or something. Maybe it would have been better to hide.He had to protect this girl..Scarlett in which he had just met. He shoved her as gently as he could behind a large tree, the trunk hidden mostly by a bush. He didn't want her to get caught. "Scar..hold on. Stay here. I'll go make sure that if there is a peacekeeper out there that they won't find you...kay?" He said in a very soothing voice, afraid she might be mad at him..considering he kind of pushed her...very lightly...behind a tree without warning.
But he did it to keep his new friend safe. If this was a Peacekeeper..then if anyone was getting caught it would be him. He noticed a stray strand of white blonde hair fell over her eyes. He did the gentlemanly thing and brushed it behind her ear. "I'll be back." He whispered on last time.
He left his spot leaving his crouching position. He was a bit worried. His weapon was pointed the intruder. He didn't think that this place had very many people running around..so it probably wasn't another hunter...or was it? Then he heard the voice about to let the arrow fly when he said I am not from the Capital. He dropped his weapon on the ground in front of him a bit embarrassed. Scarlet probably thought he was a moron for thinking this guy was a peacekeeper. "Uh..god, well that's embarrassing. Sorry about that, Bro. Thought you were a damn Peackeeper Hold on." He said, kneeling down picking up his weapon again and racing back to behind the tree.
He looked apologetic as he went back to get Scar. "Sorry about that Scar. I feel really stupid. Here." He said holding his hand out for her to use to help herself up. ｓｃａｒｌｅｔx ｋｎｉｇｈｔ Scarlet grinned. She was happy to please him. Happiness looked good on him. She watched him hit the tree, and jumped up and down. "Nice one!" She laughed, lifting up her hand for a high-five. "That's was really good." She walked over, retrieving the arrow, swiftly pulling it out of the tree, and walking back over. Whoa, whoa whoa. HE liked her shirt? She looked down at the deep green tee she was wearing. It was burnt old thing, she had been wearing it for awhile. "Thanks?" She smiled. "I likes yours too." She smiled. Cool and collected.
Suddenly, she felt herself being pushed behind one of the heavily - trunked trees, falling on her bum. What was he doing? Was thwere someone coming? Oh gosh. This was bad. This was reall bad. If it was an official, and they heard them talking, they were screwed. She was temped to just grab his arm and run. They could survive, right? She could only hope. She could help but flush a light red in her cheeks when he said he'd be back. That was ; chivalirious. That's what she wanted a pertner in the games in be like. Someone who cared. "Okay." She whispered, and couldn't help feelign bad that she wasn't doing anything.
She poked her head out the other side of the tree, catching only the words. no and Capitol. She sighed, going back to her sitting positio. Hwo could she help? How could she- Suddenly he was back, holding out his had saying tat he felt stupid, and helped her up."For what?" She asked, then duddenly another came into view. Brown hair and eyes, muscular build. ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Cross smiled at Scar for a minute, glancing back at the boy with the arrows for a minute. He was quite glad it wasn't a Peackeeper of sorts. Most certainly Corey would have gotten beat to a bloody pulp considering the roughness of the new Peacekeepers. Surprisingly enough, they had just reinforced 12 with a couple new Peacekeeper recruits. Perhaps the Capital was a bit worried all hell would break lose in 12 without some extra protection. For what? Actually for quite a few reasons. He looked at Scar, with a half earned smile and shook his head. "Well, because I pushed you behind a tree for one. That was kind of uncalled for...but if it was a Peacekeeper I wanted to give you time t to run you know, it was my ridiculously loud walking that would have set them off." He began in answer to her question. "Oh and I also probably should have made sure it was Peacekeeper for almost putting an arrow through that guys head...but I shouldn't really apologize to you for that, that's more for him."He looked back at John. "Nice to meet you...Sorry I almost shot you. That was pretty lame. Like Scar here just said, I'm Cross. You going out for a hunt too?" He asked John with a friendly grin, saying the "hunting" quieter in case real Peackeepers were out there. John looked at Cross. "Hunt? Yeah. I wouldn't call it that though. I"m not to good with a bow. Mainly traps and snares. Nice to meet you by the way. And don't worry about almost shooting me. It was my fault." He then looked at Scarlet. "I think we've talked briefly at school, but other than that we don't really know each other."

Zero, still bored with walking around the forest, heard voices coming from a few feet away from her. "Hmm? More people?" She thought to herself. "...Not good...If I get caught I'm screwed... What to do?... Maybe I should just wait it out until they leave... Shaking her head she crept closer to where the voices had sounded, readying her sword if it was a Peacekeeper. Hearing someone say that they were not from the Capitol made Zero give a sigh of relief. "Well, that was close... At least for now anyways..." Continuing to eavesdrop, Zero learned there were three people, two boys and one girl.
