This time when Gale swung the rifle, it was at Marcus' stomach, rather than one of his arms or legs.

There was an OOMF of air ad the blow winded him, and for a second he looked like he was going to his knees. Sadly for Gale, his legs were firmly planted on the ground and Marcus didn't go down.
