Everything seemed to be speeding up further to Kotone and she reprimanded her coping skills internally. One example among many in this sequence of events is that she gave a hug to
Lady Yue Lao as well before being returned to the ground at one moment and then found herself waiting for a reply to the responses they'd given concerning necessity in another moment. And at the dizzying rate her mental process was going, her knowledge of the exact order of things that just passed were already questionable to her. And so she abandoned her endeavor of the urge to review what has happened until now with extreme preciseness and took up maintenance of tracking the gists of what have taken place instead.
But contrary to Kotone's insecure thinking, her alertness was heightening in comparison to her initial condition today as time passed. That Sir Kyung, Lady Yue Lao, and she had spoken up as they had to the sudden need expressed brought her happiness in recognition that no one was alone in thoughts.
And then Kotone began to consider what could possibly have occurred in the city. Another death? Another murdered? More injured and bloodshed in battles? More missing individuals? Was this war and the suffering and tragedies it brought impossible to put an end to? She mentally shook her head to decidedly push aside worry again for determination.
So, when they received a reply, Kotone listened intently and responded.
Mother. Father. Grandmother. Grandfather. I'm always troubling you all, however, Kotone did not hesitate in her reckless but sturdy reply to
the angry-looking individual after these thoughts,
"I'll help." She found the first of her three steps forward was shakily taken before she regained her solidity amidst her second, but the resolution in her gaze did not falter, she wanted to act, move, do and try things that may be of help, with as much effort as she can muster in the middle of the circumstances, not just immerse herself in her thoughts and attempt nothing at all in terms of action. And thus, she grabbed hold of this chance despite the uncertainties and risks of it that glared at her.
