"Nice to meet you" He said offering his hand Deryk. "And you could... but I think I'm just going to stick with Ryan." Hard enough remembering one name half the time. He didn't need two. "Nice hood by the way."
He turned his attention back to the other two, offering Gale a sympathetic look. It looked uncomfortable, but at least it didn't last long before she removed herself from him.
"Harrison?" He repeated. Probably someone from the last batch of trainees--or at least someone else who had been awake longer than the recent batch. "Guess I'll be meeting him soon enough then..." His voice trailing off as all the people started arriving. The growing crowd was starting to make him feel uncomfortable. Standing in a group of people wasn't a problem, but being surrounded and being talked to, was.
"Huh?" He looked down the hall when Candace pointed towards someone, just in time to hear him call out his name. "Oh, that's Wilson." He offered a wave back to the other man as he came to join them.
"Okay I guess. Found my partner. How about you?"

My my, what was this? So many people! "Definitely looks like some kind of party," Eva chirped up from behind Otto, propping her hands up on her hips, "Why don't you go make some friends?" She reached up to pat his head before slipping past him. A particular conversation had caught her attention.
"Oh ho, there are even more Epsilons here?" She spoke up, raising her hand in greeting to Vanessa before her gaze slid over towards Candace, "I was wondering if any of the Epsilons woke up in the previous batch. I am--was?--E4." Or "Effort", as she remembered one particular Beta calling her. Had that guy woken up as well, she wondered? He had been a pretty funny guy, and his aim was...well, it had been remarkably accurate, considering that he hadn't been attacking intentionally.
She shook her head. Since she had missed Candace's introduction, she stuck her hand out to the other young woman to shake. "I'm Eva. And you are...?" A pause. "Did you say that E13 woke up too?" Ah ha, she remembered him!
But really, wow, there were so many people out here. A few faces she recognized--newbies like her--but there were plenty of people that she hadn't met yet. When she spotted Gale among the group, she shot him a grin and a wave.

"As your senior I demand you always introduce yourself as Bond. Deryk Bond." Candace said as seriously as anyone could say such a thing. "..Except to Caelius, Dr. H and Clarice. I don't think they'd really..get it. Or be amused by it." She frowned. That was a damn shame. But suddenly it seemed everyone just decided to fill the hall with their presence. Okay. That was cool. This was fine.
...Oh <********>. "..Jordan..." Candace's eyes widened a little as she subtly took a step back away from Jordan upon first laying eyes on him. ********. No. She wasn't ready to see him. Not yet. Not right now. Not in front of everyone. Goddamnit.
Tell one of them to summon their weapon so you can window shop again. Candace glared down at her rings. It was so tempting to tell her to shut up, but Atropos had earned this. Candace deserved this but she was trying to make things right again. Ugh. She shook her hand a little and gave Jordan an awkward wave, though she was still frowning. He wasn't running over here and strangling her within an inch of her life as she had done to him. This was..not so bad. They could talk after this or something.
"Ah, so..." What to say no--what the <********>?! Who was slamming doors?! Lavender eyes fell on the brat and she raised a brow, stepping away from the others to step closer to him. She hummed curiously, circling him as much as she could. Well then. "If it's a block party then how kind of you to offer your head, kid." She grinned, leaning her weight into one leg--the one that did not currently have a giant ******** bruise on the thigh thank you Jordan you are too kind--and resting her hands on her hips. Another girl interrupted her teasing though, getting her attention with a few simple syllables. Epsilon. Another one. "The hell...was this just an Epsilon awakening or something?" Candace looked away from the blonde brat to look Eva up and down. Oh, she was adorable. "Yeah. His name's Harrison...I was E-Ten. Name's Candace though."

The pressure on his head lifted - thank heavens - and Gale straightened, tilting his neck from side to side to get rid of the slight cramp he'd gotten from hunching over.
Except then he realized just exactly what Candace had called him.
"...chipmunk?" Gale repeated, sounding vaguely horrified. He cast a slightly panicked glance at Ryan, hoping no one else adopted the moniker, but then Candace's gaze was diverted towards the newest arrival - a hunter with a torn green coat.
"Er, no idea," he replied. "Never seen him before. I've only met a few of the new hatchlings."
Gale held up a hand, counting off on his fingers. "Ryan, Eva, and Otto are the only three I've talked to so far," he said. "Ryan's here, haven't seen Eva or - "
"What the hell is all this? Block party?"
" - just kidding, there's Otto."
The one with the boomerang had arrived - with a "boom," no less (pun intended). Clearly this particular hatchling held no qualms about arriving loudly and for all to see.
Or hear, in this case.
Another figure had appeared, though this one was much more familiar. Grateful for the chance to slip away (and hopefully abandon that absurd nickname), Gale quietly ducked out of the rapidly growing group and made his way towards the young man standing by himself. On his way he passed Eva, returning the wave with one of his own, along with a wide smile, before turning back to the hammer wielding hunter.
"Hey, Jordan."

Normally the compound was a lot quieter than today. Leon was so used to the quiet chatter in the vast expansion that was the trainee dorm section. If anything the most noise was when there was a hunter/weapon dispute or the clang of an impromptu sparring match.
However for the past few days, the chatter was louder and the phrases of "Fresh meat" and "New recruits" could still be heard as they passed by his room and still heard in his half asleep state. It was the torture of being a light sleeper and a insomniac all in one. It didn't help that Nid began to scream and roar like the annoying blight he was whenever the talk turned to the topic of food.
But today along with the same old talk of newbies came new voices, voices that didn't sound familiar to the boxer and was worth the time to check out. New recruits meant new sparring or exercising partners or even the chance for a lady friend. It wasn't surprising to see the couple Leon was going to call Marcandra, greeting the new, bright eyed recruits, along with Candace and Gale that he decided to greet with a rather rough noogie to the snipers head. "What do ya think your doing here huh?" he offered playfully with the moment of skull inflicted torture with a hearty laugh before turning to the other recruits that suddenly made themselves known to his eyes as he let the brat go and rose to his full height and standing ramrod straight, eyeing them down.
"And what do we have here, some of the new guys eh?" Leon said with a careful glare before softening his features even lightly and gave them a small wave. "Congrats on waking up." it was indeed the best and first achievement that he could see with them, and they seemed to be in shape, or at least A shape, as he eyed them down.
Yep, definitely a shape.

Otto's brows arched angrily as Ea's voice rang behind him. He narrowd his eyes at the girl, ip curling at the affectionate head pat. "Make me." He snapped back at her, letting her flit off to 'make friends'. Feh, that chic needed to brought back down one of these days. Maybe he could fight her somewhere..
His attention snapped forward as Candace approached him. Icy eyes focused on the girl, unblinking as he crossed his arms. Was she sizing him up/down? Was she?
"I ain't offered nuthin, lady." Otto snorted.

Jordan nodded to Candace, not quite ready to talk to her quite yet. He was relieved when she moved away. Whatever they had to say to each other probably shouldn't be aired in front of everyone anyway. That would make things even more painfully awkward.
Gale's appearance was a further relief, giving him someone to actually talk to. "Hey, Gale," he answered with a smile. "These the new guys, huh?" He gave each of the new trainees a curious, interested look.
Wonder who got them? Ferros mused.
We'll probably find out sooner or later, Jordan replied.
Leon's sudden appearance and expertly applied noogie on Gale got an amused, raised eyebrow. "You look like a guy with younger siblings." Then he winced mentally. Tactful, Jordan, really tactful.

Hatchlings. Wilson shot Candance a questioning look. “Is that what we’re called?” The group slowly grew larger as more people joined, some he knew and others he didn’t. “It uh, came that way.” He answered, turning toward Derryk as he smiled and shrugged, clueless. “I’m not sure how or why my coat’s torn, but it is, and I dunno if it’s appropriate to ask for a new coat. Probably.” Wilson grasped part of his coat before he quickly dropped it. New coat and it was already damaged. Lovely.
“Oh! Yeah, I found my partner too.” Grinning, he lightly pulled at the goggles around his neck to show to Ryan. “Meet Gramps.”
[And I’m telling you, stop calling me Gramps! It’s Dabir!] The weapon attempted to yell, but somehow Wilson managed to ignore it and continued to smile amiably.
“Ah, no. I think there’s an Alpha and a Zeta…” His voice trailed off as he attempted to remember the secondary names, it was kind of a lot to memorize in a brief amount of time. “Oh! And I am—was?—Delta Twelve.” Wilson sincerely hoped at least one other Delta had woken up already.
Wilson looked at Leon as he came over. “Thank you! Uh…What’s your name?”

Taking Ryan's hand to shake it amiably, Deryk took into consideration what was said regarding the nickname business. Well, he did have a point there. Everyone was practically a stranger to him to some degree or another so he'd have to take a bit of time to make sure he got everyone's names down. There was no telling how many people were a part of this organization too.
"Oh! I found my partner too!" he exclaimed, "She's awesome."
Looking over at Candace as she gave him the order to always introduce himself ala James Bond style, he grinned and gave a salute.
"Yes Si--er.. Ma'am! And uh. Will keep that in mind for future references, yes. Guessing Caelius is the other big head around here. Saw H and Clarice earlier. Well. Sort of. Clarice was in one of those doll things. Got shot in the head by the doctor," he frowned.
A few more people had come by, including Eva and the grumpy Otto. There came along a few more of the oldbies as well.
Glancing over at Wilson, he nodded.
"I see. I see. Well. At least it isn't completely shredded."

After coming back up from the Cove (and discovering that the huge axe could actually somehow shrink down to something about the size of a large cell-phone charm thingie), Tedan had headed into the Dorm building to figure out which room was his. Thankfully, that hadn't been too hard ... and once there, he'd passed out for a while - taking a nap of his own.
Also thankfully, the snoring from Ardavan seemed more muted while he was in that smaller form, kinda like white noise. Soothing, actually. Though Tedan had the feeling if he told anyone that, they might laugh at him.
Eventually, though, some kind of noise from the hallway started to filter through the door and woke him up. He was ready to be all pissed about it, but apparently it had woken his weapon as well.
came the slightly sleepy 'voice'. Tedan raised brows at that. Oh well, that was ... interesting. "Why don't we join the party then?" he asked and swung his feet off the bed, then reached for the coat he'd seen hanging up earlier. Some kind of uniform - definitely cooler than most uniforms he'd seen though, so he didn't mind wearing it.
Poking his head out of the door, he grinned and headed for the group of people down the hall. A few of them he recognized from the classroom earlier, but definitely not all of them. Better make a good impression.
"Hey guys," he called out as he came walking up the hall, just a bit of a swagger to his steps. Spying Eva and Otto first, he nodded in their direction and then turned to those he hadn't met. The ones who'd gotten here before. "Name's Tedan, though back on the Island, I was Fiver. Still am really. So if anyone still wants to call me that, I'm cool with it."

Cass waved to the more familiar faces as they came out into the hallway, but was not very..jumping-at-it to go and jump on the new blood, just listening to things in a sort of half-exhaustion to her name. God, she really wanted to go back to her room and take a nap. Or maybe just steal Marcus's bed because it was closer and just as good for napping at this point.
But no, she didn't want to miss out on the meet-and-greet going on with their little party.
"Wait, what is this about not going through the trials...?" Cass seemed confused by this. This new group wasn't more of their same original set? That seemed...... she hadn't thought their original group had been that bad, but... well, while a few of these seemed to be the oldies from their original lot, she couldn't help but feel a touch sad. Damn. She'd be putting off meeting up with he Gammas for longer. It was sort of sad that she hadn't really..run into anybody yet. Not that she knew she'd actually spent a bit of time with one of their numbers.
"So I guess there are no Gammas this time around then?" she inquired, brows furrowing together lightly as she scratched the back of her head as well as one could with bandaged fingers. "That's a shame, I guess....." It probably also meant nobody in here had...been in the gym to watch the lovely escapade with her finally flipping her s**t on somebody. Not that it hadn't been fun.
It was interesting to see who had been what number though, as it were.

Clearly this was the day where everyone treated Gale however they bloody well pleased.
Leon's appearance had earned him a noogie.
"Ow."
With a sigh, Gale reached up and pushed the muscular hunter's arm away from his head, scowling up at him with an expression that clearly said This is not Pick on Gale Day. Candace had already come up with that ridiculous nickname for him, and now Leon was ruffling his hair like a kid.
Oy vey.
At least Jordan wouldn't try anything. Gale leaned back against the wall beside the other and folded his arms across his chest, his gaze moving from one new hunter to the next.
"Yep, these are the new ones," he said. "I've met two or three of them. They seem pretty cool."
"I ain't offered nuthin, lady."
"Er, except for that one."

An Alpha and a Zeta? That was promising. Then Jordan heard a familiar designation. "Fiver? Alpha Five?" he asked. Not his, but still a familiar name. "Hey, nice to see you made it. I'm Jordan, and this is Ferros," and he held up the heavy ring on his right index finger with its deep red stone. "I was Alpha One."
Then his memory caught up with him, and he winced internally again. He hadn't exactly made the best showing of himself on that damn beach. He'd be lucky if Tedan didn't promptly decide to stay away from him.
Usually you're better at thinking before you talk rather than after.
Shut up, Ferros.

Marcus's face went from neutral to grinning as Cas made her way over to him. What could he say, having his girlfriend near was enough to brighten his day anytime. Gale's appearance and wave got one in return, as did Candace. And... ah ha! Final, new blood spotted. And- judging from his coat and with the verbal confirmation, a moon hunter at that. About time they got more moonies up and out.
Moonies? Problem? Sounds gay. ... I like it.
Of course you would Dis. Soon, more new bloods began to trickle in. Marcus's smile went up a notch. He did frown at a familiar term. Epsilon. Did it really matter? Maybe it was because he spent most of the trial on his own and just not giving a ********, but riding off the 'name' given was kind of dumb to him. "Does it matter who you were? You were given a number and told to survive. Then you died anyway. Now you're awake and really, the trials stuff doesn't effect you unless you want it to. I was Beta one, but I prefer to identify myself as Marcus Hassan, a hunter. Not a hunter candidate... you know?"
He shrugged arbitrarily, noticing for a second the one in the shadows. Giving Jordan a bit of a salute, he hoped the guy would join the party brewing. And... damn they were like daisies, popping up all over the place. One guy seemed like trouble, and got a disapproving look before Marcus figured he'd actually introduce himself. "Anyway, like I said, I'm Marcus Hassan, moon division. And this lovely lady," he smirked at Cass, "if my girlfriend, Cass"
He smirked at Leon. "Official now and all that."

Ahhh and now Otto was here. He could already feel the headache resurfacing.
"You're still in a bad mood?" He asked. "No offense, but do you have a pole up your a** or something?" Seriously, was this guy making it his mission to turn everyone against him? Why and what for? He wouldn't be doing himself any favors by doing that.
Ryan stood his ground when Leon seemingly glared at him and all the 'hatchlings.' Why? He had no idea, but it felt like people were picking fights left right and center.
"You could say that, and thanks." He answered both Leon and Jordan, a little awkwardly at the same time before observing Wilson's coat.
"It looks like someone pranked you... At least it's only the edges." He hid a grin, not wanting to offend one of the few friends he might have made since waking up.
"Oh yeah? Nice to meet you, ah--Gramps?" Yeah, still awkward. "This is Locke." He moved his coat back enough to reveal the small keychain hanging off his belt loop.
:Nice of you to finally introduce me.: He complained.
Ryan ignored him.
"Oh? Congrats to you then, what is she?" He asked, looking at Deryk, a little curious to find out what was awesome about his weapon. Though really, all the weapons so far were pretty awesome. Well maybe not Locke.
"Ah, don't know about anyone else, but I went through a trial same as the rest of you. Just not the same one." He answered the other girl who approached. "I guess it was a little different. Didn't have any giant ponies anyways." He shrugged.
"I'm Ryan." He greeted in return to both Cass and Marcus.
