The child laughed, then shook her head. “Only sometimes. Once, my dad got me those…blow up boxing things? Sock em’ bobbers or whatever. I was about five then…but it was kinda fun playing with them.”
Finally, her attacks stopped and she wiped her brow, letting out a sigh. “Well. That was a really good lesson, padawan. Let’s go get that ice cream now though. I’m super hungry.”
She put her saber blade back into the plastic holder and grinned up at Jett. “You did really, really good and I’m very proud of you! Next time though, I’m going to teach you a different form, and it’s gonna be awesome-er than this time!”
Millie laughed then spun in a circle, smiling. “Come on, Jett. Let’s go!”

Jett blinked, seeming quite pleased that he could stop swinging around his lightsaber. He pressed the plastic blade back into it's hilt, somewhat eager to hide it from public sigh. Ice cream was the perfect distraction--no little girl could resist it, and even though he wasn't particularly fond of the stuff, today it was his hero.
"Coooool," he drawled, not quite looking forward to the training. He didn't suspect it was ever going to come in handy unless Millie was going to just periodically jump out and attack him with her lightsaber for the rest of his life.
…Which wouldn’t surprise him in the least.
