"Well, just tell yourself that if you exert yourself, you are not the only one suffering," She tilted her head up to look at him, a frown tugging on the edge of her lips as she eyed him, "Other people will worry over you and suffer with you, so it's best to try to take it easy till you're completely healed... Try to keep that in mind and you should be fine." She gently petted him on his arm.
"Ah... Well..." She looked sheepish, fidgeting with the strap of her bag, "I died when the flames fell... Although I guess death also meant that I didn't have as many injuries to tend to after I reformed!" She was trying her best to sound cheerful, but something in her tone showed that she wished she hadn't died; it was terrible to be locked away from everyone, to only be an observer rather than a participant.

"So I've noticed," Shun said flatly. Prior to his enrollment there weren't really people who got all worried when he was pushing himself too much. Generally speaking, the reaction was more of the opposite. The urge was still there, but he didn't need Mitsu pleading to him to take it easy.
"There is that at least. One of the.. 'perks' of death if you could call it that," he shrugged. Granted that was death with respawn.

"Seems like you're settling in really well," She giggled at his reaction, the image of Mitsu or Xiu nagging at him was rather amusing, since Shun had... The same expression on almost all the time, "Indeed... At least it wasn't permanent." She shuddered at the thought, running a hand through her hair nervously.
"Ah yes! I heard that both you are Mitsu passed the exam?" She smiled, figuring a change of topic would be nice, since talking about the field trip was generally rather depressing, "Grats! Ah... I miss Mitsu..." She wondered if the ghoul would be free to meet up sometime soon.

Yes, it was a rather good thing the death wasn't permanent. Then again, if they were so easy to get rid of, they may have more trouble against the Hunters than they already do now.
"That we have. It was a pretty simple exam... not quite what I was expecting. But nonetheless, we both ended up passing. A few others in our group weren't as fortunate," Shun said quietly before looking over at Lizzy when she said she missed Mitsu.
"I take it you hadn't spoken with her recently?"

"Ohh? Which professor did you get for your exams?" She couldn't resist probing, although she sounded a little distracted. Shun's question caused her shoulder to stump as she shook her head, "I've been a little... Preoccupied with things." Like the little sewing project and her own mopping in general, although the latter had been alleviated recently.
"I should probably try to see if she's free to go out sometime," She mused before giggling, poking Shun on the arm as she teased, "Hope you don't mind me stealing your ghoulfriend for a day."
Shun teased! Achievement unlocked!

"We had Malcom. Vlad and a few invisible pups had some scraps of paper. Our task was to retrieve a few slips within a time limit," Shun replied, recalling the exam. He still wasn't too certain what that was testing exactly. It could have been a few things, he supposed. Perhaps a little bit of wit, agility, and luck.
Something like that.
"Preoccupied?" he repeated with a raised brow before giving her a side glance, "Another term I'm not quite used to yet.. But go ahead. I'm not about to keep her from hanging out with her friends."

"Ohh, sounds straightforward enough," She mused, although the mental image of Shun and Mitsu chasing down invisible dogs prompted her to giggle, "At least that's over and done with..." She wanted to ask if Shun was going to tell his father about it, but then again, she knew that his relationship with his father wasn't really the best... Perhaps it would be best not to ask.
"Preoccupied, yes," She laughed before pouting ever so slightly, "Aww, not the reaction I was looking for, but yay! I'll have to give her a call one of these days to catch up... Maybe ask her about you."
Okay, she really couldn't resist teasing him. That expression of his got to change one of these days!

That last comment from Lizzy was a little odd. Staring at her for a moment or so, Shun was trying to figure out what she meant by that. Then, he just decided to go ahead and ask.
"Why would you need to ask her about me? You're speaking to me right now are you not?" he blinked.
The demon was a strange girl. That was for sure.

Lizzy just stared back at Shun with an unamused, deadpan expression, like she thought that he was joking about whatever he had jsut said. However, the longer she stared at him, the longer she realized that he was not joking, and that he meant every word he said.
"I was... Just..." She paused, bringing a hand up to cover her eyes as she sighed softly, shaking her head before waving that same hand in the air dismissively, "I was just teasing you... But never mind, I see you didn't get it."
Just because Shun acknowledged love did not mean he is good at picking up other things.

As she stared back, Shun continued to look at her, feeling a sort of awkward silence build up here. He didn't quite get it. After all, he was serious with his question. Blinking once more as she told him to dismiss it due to the fact that she was teasing him, the Reaper shrugged.
Actually, the more accurate term was likely that people were strange. There was still a lot he had to learn when it came to dealing with them.
"If you say so."

They walked in silence for a while; comfortable silence, according to Lizzy; she never really felt pressured to say anything where Shun was concerned, and she was pretty sure that the reaper wasn't the talkative sort either.
"We should all go out again one day," She suggested suddenly, like it had just occurred to her, "Like that day where we went to the arcade and ate eye scream. Something normal. It's been a while since we went out as a group..."

The next bought of silence was one that Shun was more comfortable with. No strange stares and whatnot. He just walked alongside Lizzy in a fairly content state of mind. When she suddenly spoke up again, he looked over at her, taking a moment to register what she was talking about.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea. But.. please. Don't try to get me into a ball pit again," he requested. 'Fun' was still something that eluded him a bit, but he wasn't going to stop others from having a good time. He would just be fine with watching the others.

"But... Blazinga!" She seemed to be trying to make a point, but soon relented, huffing and giving a nod, "Oh, alright... No ball pits, but you have to play the other games with everyone else!" Like the linked races, for example... She was actually secretly surprised that he wasn't against the idea, so 'no ball pits' sounded like a fair enough deal.

"Fair enough, I suppose," shrugged Shun. Well at least there would be no ball pits. He wouldn't be partaking in that nonsense. No way. The other stuff he could probably tolerate more readily.
"Oh yes. Things are still not strained between you, Mot, and Hel are they?" he asked while eyeing her. He recalled the little spiel of chaos that had occurred in the house, after all.

"Ah..." Her face immediately fell, as she looked down at the path they were walking on, lapsing into silence for a moment before she slowly nodded, her tone laced with uncertainty, "Mot and I are good now... I mean, I consider him one of my closest friends so we just sat down and talked things out... And he told me that he had fixed things with Hel? I did speak to Hel recently though! I think we're good now...?"
She paused, looking up at Shun, a frown tugging on the edge of her lips, "I asked her to exchange pointers- Uh, I mean, train me... And she agreed! I really, really hope that she's not upset at me anymore..."
