Anastasia Cousland
Loud shouting could be heard throughout the keep, an argument between the Senechal and Anastasia, "I will not have this nonsense spoken within the Keep Knight Templar Cousland! You will learn your place! These men have enough to worry about without your fool notion that these Abomination sightings are not apostates!" Anastasia glared at the Senechal, "Men have been clawed and cut to pieces and you want me to deny that the Abomination wasn't a mage?! Thank you Senechal, for nothing, I will track it myself!" Storming out of the throne room, she slammed the doors behind her. Looking at one of the keep soldiers, she nearly yelled at the man, "Where is the kennel?! I'll be talking my Mabari and leaving!" Her voice must have instilled more fear than a fully armored ogre, because the man's hand shook as he pointed. Anastasia storming off towards the kennel, "Maybe I can get Lady Surana to aid me in tracking this Abomination..."

As the dogs trotted into the kennel Diyanna put down food and water enough for them both, then walked over to the window. She perched her small frame in it and looked outside. The weather was bright, though there was a crispness in the air; it was typical autumn weather. She could see Nathaniel and the recruits outside, going through combat training. Well, most of the recruits, anyway. The mages were elsewhere, probably studying in the sunlight. She knew they wouldn't be inside; no mage, once freed of the Circle, spent their free time in doors. She knew that for a fact.
Diyanna allowed herself to become completely lost in her thoughts as she sat in the window. The two mabari finished their meal and started a game of tug-of-war with a nearby rope.

Finally coming up to the kennel room, Anastasia grinned. Quickly pulling off her boots and quickly setting them down, she sneaked up behind Diyanna. To tease the lady mage, Anastasia slipped her arms around her. She leaned in, whispering into the elf's ear in a sultry tone, "Thinking of me, My Lady?" She giggled and pulled back, crossing her arms grinning. Seeing the mage women in actual sunlight made her small figure all the more appealing, sizing her up, keeping grin gaze as 'clean' as she could. Shaking off her fascination, she looked back to Diyanna's face. "I need to ask you a favor. Do you have any way to track non-mage Abominations?"

Diyanna gasped, somewhat shocked by Anastasia's... 'playful' behavior. She put a hand to her chest, where she could feel her pulse race. Shaking her head, as if trying to clear her thoughts.
"I.. I take it the Senechal was less than helpful?" she asked. "He is new to the job; our last Senechal was much better, but unfortunately he was lost to the Darkspawn."
Hopping out of the window she got a thoughtful look on her face. "Well, most Abominations are tracked by the phylactery of the mage they once were. But.. I don't see why an Abomination couldn't be tracked by a mage tapping into the Fade. Abominations cause disturbances in the Fade around them... imagine the ripples that would be caused by a branch being thrust through the surface of a pond. You can use the ripples to find the center."

Anastasia smiled gleefully at the sight of Diyanna flustered. However, the very mention of the Senechal reminded her why she was here. "He was absolutely impossible. Exact proof why I never let my mother match me with some random lord. They're all high and mighty, and if you're a woman who can do their job better, they deem it their job to 'put you in your place'." She shook off her frustration, realization she had just vented to Diyanna, "Apologies. I'm just... As you can tell, I'm sure, the only men I've ever cared about have been my father, brother, and nephew." The thought of her father and nephew brought her sadness, though she hid it as best she could.
Anastasia's eyes brightened, knowing she may have a way of finding the Abominations she'd come for. "You can do that? Could you come with me? To help track them I mean. Since the ones I'm hunting were once warriors. I know it's not anywhere near common, but I've killed three non-mage Abominations in the last year. I've had to rely on less... accepted abilities."
