I can understand what you are saying about the headband thing. The elastic band is nice because it's harder to see than a normal headband but it's annoying. imo. It's harder to style your hair around and it slips much easier. Whenever I wear mine I always put like bobby pins to hold it in place.
The black ones of mine (The first picture with the pink inner part) IS on a headband like the one you mentioned. I got them at Target around Halloween a few years ago. They are (more or less) like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Cat-Animal-Headband-Hair-Band-Ear-Party-Costume-Fancy-Dress-New-/290628462719?pt=AU_Costumes&hash=item43aace687f
Here are a few links, I don't know if they will help you at all. 1) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sexy-Cat-Ears-Faux-Leather-Headband-Headpiece-w-Marabou-Trim-Adult-3577-/320784253203?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab03b4113

Out of those, I think that 2nd link (numbered, "2" ) is the best... However it appears to be made by the same person that did the ones I posted... AKA: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAND-MADE-Cosplay-Accessory-Kitty-Cat-Ear-HeadBand-Clip-/270526029589?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3efc9b9f15 AND: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAND-MADE-Anime-Cosplay-Furry-Black-Cat-Ears-Headband-/330558375126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf6d084d6 I agree with you about one thing though. That second one (of the ones I posted) is better ^.^

Well, it's not shocking to find someone who makes different styles of the same thing. *nods* So, that could be a good thing if they are good quality.

IDK They have 99.1% Positive feedback. Out of almost 37000. But the negative ones are mostly either "never recieved item" or "cheaply made" Some even said, "came broken" and/or "missing pieces" I guess I could try the ones you had in your second picture. (with the elastic band) And attach them to a headband myself. But for 16 bucks, that seems like a lot of extra work. (like having to patch your own operating system after buying the disk and installing it) >.< IDK, You cosplay regularly, so what do you think ??

Well, I will say that the elastic ones are heavy. So, trying to attach them yourself to a headband is going to be tough unless you drill into them. The are not hollow, they are made of molded hard plastic.With the weight, I would imagine they would just cause a normal headband to tumble off your head. At least with the elastic band ...you can tighten it up.
As for the store on Ebay ... I don't know. I looked at their store and it seems a little fishy to me. They claim it's "Homemade" but the store doesn't look like it sells much else actually homemade. I mean, heck they are selling "Smurf" figures? O_o; I don't know. ...I personally don't shop ebay that much. I purchased my Wigs from ebay though and I made sure to bug the shop constantly with my e-mails to keep up with what they were doing with my product.

Yeah, the 2-toned one seems like a tad much. Hmm... Do you think they would clip to a headband easily enough?

I really do not know, I would have to see what the clips look like. Do you not have enough hair that the clip could stick to? ....If you are near bald (or bald) you could always use double sided tape. surprised

LOL ^.^ No, I'm not bald... It's just that I've never worn neko ears, so I keep imagining them leaning over and falling flat against your head, if... 1: you don't have enough hair, to be heavy enough to hold them in place, or... 2: the ears are top heavy and fall over if not secured properly. That's part of the reason I was wanting a headband ^^;

OK, 1... woah... O_O kawaii ^.^ AND 2... If THAT's enough hair for the clips on cat ears... I think I'm good ^.^ Now to decide what color would be best. http://www.nekochii.com/products/nekomimi.htmlI kinda like the Fox-ears... The 2-tone thing looks off, but on the fox ears, it's not bad. My only question is... What the H311 is an "etsy" http://www.etsy.com/listing/78206976/cosplay-fox-ears-kitsune-mimi-red-fox Though I could order the "fox fur" color for a custom ear set. (without the black tips) That would avoid the 2-tone thing.

Awww. Well, thank you guys! ( ^_^ ) My hair has grown quite a lot since then. (It's -almost- touching my shoulders) But, yeah...my cat ears fit and looked just fine when my hair was that short. ( ^_^ )
You are right. With the "fox" style ...the black actually looks cute. I like the black with that.
I personally would really like to have a pair that are more the Avocado colour to cosplay as Kyoko, my catgirl rpc. Or even the Ocean. (Her fur is supposed to be yellow/blonde like but her hair changes from blonde to teal. She likes to dye it. xD)
"Etsy" is a website. Like Ebay. www.etsy.com
