Now there was a barrier now. A snot barrier. The gryphon stared, quite surprised, before lunging towards the barrier claws out.
She was unable to even make a dent though. The strength and power from before was gone with the strike to the barrier. All the gryphon could do was blink and stand there.

It was enough to keep him safe.. for now. But Bul would find that soon the barrier would deteriorate and he'd have to reach for Tahki ********-" he grunted when the snot crumbled away.
Rubbing his face with a moist sleeve the boil breathed in heavily once more and roared out as he lept for her; legs ready to strike. It simply wasn't enough; the hit he did make was with the side of his leg and probably did more against him than for him.

Tahki was met with the side of Buls leg causing her to trip over to her side. She was quick back on her feet and quick to lunge for Bul with her claws. The sticky from the bombard of red snot earlier was starting to really make her movements slower as it crusted around her skin making it very tight to move.
She hit but wasn't an impact worth that of a gryphon. Crusted snot cracked and crumbed around her.

Even hindered by his fear, Tahki was still making contact with vigor and the half beast was ever impressed but also embarrassed. Hey, if he looked at it positively he could blame it on not fully recovering from the last field trip despite making said recovery over time.
This onslaught was only going to continue and Bul would go down in defeat but to him it was honorable that the gryphon that needed the motivation was really wailing on him and not just out of luck. She was talented in combat!
Weakly the half beast brought his heel down once more to strike the ghoul but it was followed by a sigh of exhaustion. His breath was very audible the closer he was reaching his limits.

The heel met Tahkis side causing her to give a loud Aaaaaaghhh sound. Still the gryphon remanded on her feet thanks to her wings and tail keeping her balanced. The kick did one thing though. It caused Tahki to swing the wrong direction.

Bul wasn't ready to count his blessings yet. When Tahki missed he took the opportunity to scurry out of the way, swinging his tail as he ran and accidentally swatted the ghoul's side.
"Ack, s**t s**t didn't mean to!" he laughed as he glanced behind him. "PLEASE DON'T STEP ON MY TAIL ;^;"

The tail hit but it wasn't enough to knock Tahki over.
"Its fine~" The gryphon was smiling and for a moment she returned to her shy usual self. Tahki made the error of taking a bit of a breather though, bending over her knees letting her shortage of breath catch up with her.

No doubt Bul was feeling the same. He was still struggling to stay up and at em but he wouldn't go down until he couldn't lift a finger.
He thought about how low of a move it would've been to attack her while she was hesitating but- too late. He did it anyway. "RAAWWRGH!" he cried out as he came rushing towards her, performing a bruteball tackle with his tail flailing up behind him.

Tahki didn't have time to move her head and even look at Bul. She felt his forceful impact and felt her body hit the ground. The weight of Buls body on top of her cased the gryphon to gasp for air. The wind had been knocked out of her lungs.
Something in side her really snapped. It wasn't an angry snap, but a survival snap. The gryphons eyes glowed as she felt strength burst like an explosion from her body. She may have screamed, Tahki did not remember. But when she opened her eyes, Bul was gone.
"..Bul..?" Slowly the gryphon got up and dusted her self off. "Bul?" And now a very confused. Where did Bul go? It hadn't yet accorded to her that he burst in to fear.

All that remained of the half beast was a pin laying on the floor.
Tahki had literally eradicated him!
