Siianna returned his smile and fell in next to him. She was really excited to see the pictures, no one had told her there were wizard duelists. She HAD to do some research now, maybe she could save enough to go see them. " They curse each other how amusing!" It didn't take much to impress her.
" We could eat first and get the pictures later if you want." She was hungry too but had been willing to skip for practice but since she wasn't practicing now her hunger had kicked in.

Elton was glad that his pictures would be of some help to her, and couldn't help but feel glad about sneaking in that ancient camera to get the pictures. Technically there were supposed to be no pictures taken..but no one had stopped him and the duelists had even offered to sign them later on.
Which had been pretty awesome, especially when they let him hold one of their swords and get a picture taken with them.
"Yes, it was blimey amusing! Of course..after the duels they'd smile and be nice again. Kind of funny how grown people can get so out of it when they fight..they don't even realize what they're saying most of the time." Elton said with a bemused laugh.
He was very happy when she suggested they get the food first, his stomach was now rolling and protesting it's empty state very loudly. "Probably a good idea, if I let it go on it'll get as loud as a tiger." he said rubbing his belly with one hand.
"Want to race back?" He asked with a sudden gleam of eagerness in his eyes. "Last one there has to wait on the other?"

" Stomach tigers are the worst aren't they, nothing like the stomach kittens." She giggled but nodded at his race request. "A nice run would be fun." She stopped and drew a line in the dirt. Stepping over to it she smiled over to Elton. " Ready, set...GO!" She took off as fast as she could and hoped he was able to keep up with her.

Elton suddenly got the image of a huge Bengal tiger curled up inside his stomach batting at his insides with a huge paw and let loose a laugh at such an idea.
"yes..so they are." He said with more laughter.
He was ecstatic and nearly bursting with energy when she accepted his challenge to a race. "Great!" He exclaimed and stretched out his legs and took up a stance behind the line she made. he wiggled slightly waiting for her to say go, and then when she did he burst off at full speed, very easily passing her.
He hadn't gotten a chance to run or race in a few weeks..and all his pent up energy was ready to emerge. He was probably about a half a yard in front of her when he slowed slightly to see where she was. He relented a bit and let up reducing his speed so she'd have more of a chance.
"So then..how much do you race?"

Siianna laughed as he shot passed her. And here she thought she was fast but man that kid could run. She finally caught up to him but figured he'd slowed down. " I'm not much of a racer. Small bursts are my best, kind of goes with the sport."
She smiled and saw they were almost there so she used a small burst of speed hoping she'd get a head of him and maybe enough to win. If she hadn't been hungry before she was definitely hungry now and she could smell the food from here." Oh! I can smell the Hall from here!"

Elton grinned, "then you'd do better as a sprinter than a runner. Or I'll just have to get you in better shape! If you build up your stamina more you'd do better as a duelist."
Elton was a bit surprised when she sped up and passed him. He should have seen that coming! He just laughed and sped up to catch up with her.
They were head to head when she exclaimed about smelling the Hall. Elton raised his nose in the air and sniffed and was almost overwhelmed by all the delicious smells that wafted together.
"Oh gods..they have pumpkin bread, and sausage!" he exclaimed and extended his legs as far as they would go so he could pass her by.
"See you there slowpoke!" He chortled as he sped by her and into the Great Hall.
His entrance was greeted by teachers yelling at him to stop running.

She couldn't argue his logic and she nodded in agreement " I can't wait!" She was a bit sad he'd caught up with her but his reaction to the food made her giggle.
She kept smiling when he took off ahead of her. With a shake of her head she slowed down and wasn't even winded when she reached the Hall and caught the tail end of the teacher's gripes. Smiling and giggling softly she sat down next to Elton. " You know you should have slowed down before entering." Her voice was filled with amusement and well meaning.
Looking at the spread before her she sighed and started snagging bits and pieces and putting them on her plate. "Looks good!"

Elton cringed when the teachers all yelled at him, but didn't let it get him down. He was too excited about food and having a new friend to spend time with. Plus, he never stayed down in the dumps for long. He tended to bounce back from disappointments and punishments pretty easily.
"Yeah, I know. I just forget." Elton said with a shrug of his shoulders. "So far the teachers haven't held it against me." he whispered back with a smirk. "Though I suppose I should watch it, It wouldn't be good to have all the other Griffyndor's mad at me for losing House points." he added.
"So then," He said between mouthfuls of pumpkin bread and some pumpkin juice. "Wanna be friends?"

Siianna had her mouth full of juice when he just randomly spurted out his question, she managed to not loose it but she did choke on it a bit. With a giggle she ruffled his hair. " Sure! After all you gotta help me learn how to race and I have to have a sparring partner." She offered him a large smile before putting another bite of food into her mouth.

Elton wasn't quite sure what he had said to make her nearly choke on her food. "Are you okay?" He asked reaching over to hit her lightly on the back.
He froze in place when Sii reached out and ruffled his hair. He blinked for a moment and then smoothed his hair out carefully. "Wonderful, I'm glad I can be of service to you." he grinned slightly and then got serious.
"Now then..if we're going to be friends there is one rule that you must always abide by. Never touch my hair." he told her with a slightly annoyed look on his face. "It takes forever to get it looking this good..and the slightest bit of ruffling it poofs up into a crazy rat's nest."
That being said, Elton finished off his food, even taking the time to eat the crumbs off of his plate with a finger. Then he stood up and grabbed Siianna by the arm and pulled her up. "Come on, let's go get those pictures, we don't have much time left before the next class."

Siianna pulled her hand back noting he didn't seem happy about it. She smiled and giggled softly as he stated his rule. Quickly wiping the smile she nodded seriously. And being slightly used to being grabbed she maneuvered in a way as not to be dragging her feet. Pushing though the memories she smiled at him. " Ok, I hadn't noticed how close it was."
