Rafferty, being a pygmy fox and being generally what he was, tossed the kushi kushi he had in his mouth up into the air before catching it with his jaws. The shrieking creature disappeared down his gullet with a single snap, and Chuppi felt her blood run cold. Rafferty was a smart fox, he'd originally been bringing that kushi kushi for her to eat, and Chuppi figured he did it out of concern and because of the present company.
That being said it gave the monster the push she needed and she took both of Mort's hands into her own, easily pulling the undead boil up. "Um, maybe you should go before Rafferty eats your friend? We can meet again, talk later." She was all but pushing him out the door at the end of her sentence, and Chuppi peered out at him from inside the room while he was now in the hallway. "Do come back soon, okay?"

"Y-Yeah. Okay." Once eased up, Mort pulled out a small slip of paper with a number written on it and handed it to Chuppi as she pushed him out with surprisingly little effort. "Text yes? We go out n' eats after your test? Or when you wants."
Another thing to keep him from unpacking, and something for her to look forward to. A win-win situation, right?
Daisy, of her own volition, gulped and scurried up Mort's leg and into the safety of the hoodie, more than ready to get out of the room. Sure, the pygmy fox wasn't as scary as Brian, but . . . she didn't want to be anyone's meal today!
Once forced into the hall, the zombie turned and waved a little. "Will see around, mkay?"
For now, back to more procrastination!
