Dorian could see that Von was eyeing him carefully. Had she noticed his shiver? More than likely. He'd have to be more careful around this one, he had heard a few disturbing things about her. Not that he was going to hold it against her. It was what was expected of a Slytherin.
"That's what will work best," Dorian replied and then thought for a moment. "What sort of compensation is it that you are looking for?"
He was wondering how much he'd have to pay for something like this. He hoped that she wouldn't use it against him later on and use it to black mail her.

Von smiled a tad evilly at the idea of getting to embarrass Quil. Maye she'd kiss him or something ridiculous like that. She had a particular soft spot to artists thanks to Marc. " Why don't we call it even for the help with my classes. Quil seems an easy target so that should be fair enough, don't ya think?"
She was glad he seemed to be wary of her required payments. It wouldn't do well for people to think her soft, whether that was true or not. She smiled enjoying her work. Life was looking up, perhaps this year wouldn't be so bad.

Dorian was a bit creeped out by the evil smile that erupted on Von's face. Somehow he managed from reacting to it and turned to grab a book out of his bag. They really should get started on studying, especially if Von expected to get better grades.
He was rather relieved when she said his tutoring would suffice in trade for her helping him get Quill back. "Yes that sounds fine to me. He is a really good target." He replied with a smile.
"Now then, what do you want to start studying? What class do you need the most help with?" He asked getting down to business.

Vonali nodded once and reached for her potions book. " Let's start with potions, I guess." She really hated doing her schooling, but perhaps with Dorian's help it wouldn't seem so awful.
Her demeanor had returned to it's earlier melancholy as she settled into the task a head of her. She really should start paying more attention in class.
