Aleksandr had to fight back a chuckle of his own, Asuna's contagious it seemed. He stopped alongside the black female as she pointed towards their destination. "Yes...very high. Perhaps we should avoid that height hm? Very low levels of oxygen and all that would not be good, for yourself or the kits."
But it did look magnificent. Perhaps even after the kits were grown, Aleks would stay there. He would just have to wait and see of course. The future was no guarantee.

"Oh we should!? I thought it would be a perfect storage for our parents if they just so happened to visit!" Her sarcasm filled that sentence to the brim. "There is a cave that's a little off the ground. It should be perfect for us." She watched the sun sink a little more. "Should we rest for the night?"

This time Aleksandr couldn't hold back the laughter. "Perhaps we should also find a giant rock to roll in front of the storage area for when our parents visit. Maybe a few hours trapped with each other might help things."
"Aye. We can start again when it is light." Aleksandr looked around to find a decent place they could rest for the night. Somewhere not in the open, but having another way to leave if need be. Not that Aleksandr expected there to be a need to, but they did just run away from home. Even if their parents were upset, so much that his own threatened to harm him, they might want them back once it was realized they were gone.
He spotted a group of trees and nodded towards them. "We could find shelter over there, just in case the weather changes." And with the trees being further together, it would take a normal fox to get to them, for it looked like there was just enough room for Aleksandr to squeeze through them, which meant no daeva's could attack either.

"Brilliant idea!" She laughed too. The tension she felt was starting to drop. She looked at the spot he had mentioned and nodded. "Looks good." She waited for Alex to go in so he had room, since she was smaller she could squeeze herself in.

Aleksandr swept his arm towards the trees. "You first." Before she could argue, if she was wanting to, he added, "I would rather be out in the elements or in the open instead of you, for we have to think of the kits as well." If he got wet, oh well. He could use his flames to dry himself. If the small chance that someone as following them happened and he got attacked, his large body could prevent anyone getting to Asuna.

"Fine, but if there is room tour coming in here too." She shot a serious glance at the male. The slipped into the trees. There was actually more space then appeared. Asuna curled into a ball, tail curled around herself and tucked under her head. "Come on. There is room."

With a shrug, Aleksandr wormed his way into their shelter for the night. And worming really was the only way to describe it. He had to twist this way and that through the trees so he wouldn't run into any. Further in he was able to shift a little better so he could be sideways, just so he could keep one eye on the way they came in and one eye on Asuna.
Speaking of...Aleksandr looked at the black ball. "Are you comfortable? Hungry? Cold?" While he couldn't blaze the entire place, he certainly could make a small fire for her if she needed it.

Since the incedent Asuna didn't have much of an appitite. "I'm fine." She stayed in her ball, shifting her tail to hide her face and rester her head on her paws. "What about you." Her statements fer flat, she figured she was more tired than she thought.

"I am...the same." Aleksandr kept his wings close to his body, partly to keep them from smacking into anything, partly to keep the heat in since he was not going to be making flames. He had his back paws resting underneath him, his front paws crossed, his head resting on them.
He regarded Asuna for a moment. "Let me know if you need anything." With that, he turned his attention to the way they had came in.

"Mkay..." She could barely mumble the word. She was already asleep.

Asuna slep well into thr morning. Though... Her surroundings seemed... softer, warmer, and a bit fuzzy. Though her sleep fuzzed eyes she noticed a large blank lump. In her state of mind she thought the lump was nothing more than a pillow. So she curled into it and fell back asleep.

Aleksandr twitched slightly in his sleep, dreaming that something was pressing against his side. Or maybe it wasn't a dream. Perhaps he had fallen asleep against a rock. Though...he had been pretty sure the area they had made camp in was clear of such things. It could be a tree stump. He might have made one fall while he slept. What ever it was, Aleks shifted to relieve the pressure on his side.
Problem was...the object moved with him. Aleks cracked an eye open and saw a ball laying next to him. His sleep muddled brain thought nothing of it, so his eye fell back close. Until his brain put a halt to things. Aleksandr's eye lids cracked open and he pushed the female fox away. Growling softly, knowing that sleep would be good for her, the daeva stood up and walked closer to the entrance they came in.

Once the warmth left her an eye cracked open, she glared in the males direction. She felt weak, but didn't say anything. She got up and stretched a bit. "Morning..." She usually said 'good' morning but there was nothing good about it yet. "Ready?"

Aleksandr looked back at Asuna. "Morning." It came out a little gruffer than normal; but it wasn't every day that one woke up with a female burrowed in your side. He tilted his head. "Ready? Do you not want something to eat first?"

Asuna stared blankly out into the fields. She didn't feel like hunting, nor did she feel like she had the energy. "Well.. I guess I should eat something." She sat back on her haunches. She new there was a lake up ahead and deer to the north. "Meat or fish."

"Fish. Easier to catch and faster to eat. You do want to get to those mountains quickly do you not?" With that Aleksandr stood up. "Where may I find a water area full of fish?" He supposed he would do the fishing. After all, he had promised Asuna that he would get her food if she so required it.
