The blue-robed figure also noticed the presence of others, and was in fact addressing anyone who was present. While his sense of smell was not as good as that of a certain other, he could hear and "sense" their presence.
"Yes. The Katz have asked that those who can face the forest's dangers do so, and I am among those who can."
He walked in a circle and looked around the forest. His appearance did not matter now, for he would soon be among monsters. If he frightened some weak-hearted person out of the forest, then that would be one life saved. "This truly is a dark place. It is, no doubt, populated by dangerous creatures. My foes."

The figure in white watched as the two others addressed one another, before finally stepping out of the shadows and towards the stranger of the two. Anyone who had to hide their face either had something deeper to hide, or was trying to protect themselves from something. Once he was certain the other robed figure could see him, he made a few quick hand signs, mostly saying he was here to find a witch.

The figure in blue crossed his arms and looked at the figure in white with interest. "I have not witnessed usage of such a language in some time." He seemed to understand the sign language to some degree. He turned his head to the elf.
"I am uncertain of whether I remember the signs correctly, but it appears that he is seeking a malevolent magic user, unless I have misinterpreted his words and he actually intended to accuse us of being witches." He had met his fair share of annoying magic users, but few malevolent ones. He turned back to the one who had made the signs. "I, for one, am not. If a witch is what you seek, then I shall aid you. Such endeavors are my very purpose."

"I see, and I'm well aware of that...are they not everyone's foes...?" The question was meant to be rhetorical. She watched as the robed one paced in a circle, and it was then she was able to get a better look at some of his features. He's something between human and not, all right, she concluded in her thoughts, That's the shape of a man, but his skin is so very pale...

When he stopped close by her, that was when she saw the figure in white come out of hiding. As she watched his attempt to communicate, she expressed a little befuddlement because she did not know much of sign language. The only semblance of some she had learned were the signals used among fellow hunters in the Ymir when they needed to be quiet.

She replied at the blue robed-one, "You guess is better than mine...sir." She did not know his name, let alone know any other way to address him. Looking to the man in white, she added in case the second assumption would be true, "I am not a witch either, but I think one might be just what I'm looking for as well."

The white robed figure made a few other short gestures, mentioning specifically the witch's Black hair, the one thing remembered the clearest. His plans and reasons he kept to himself. As he gestured he moved slightly closer to stand between the two beings, waiting to see what they would do.

"I see. He was not accusing us. He said that this witch has black hair, which neither of us appear to have." The figure in the white robe nodded at at the elf's green hair.
"Perhaps we might all work together to defeat the menace." His face almost certainly did not betray his feelings on the matter. "If we are to work together, introductions would be wise."

((Sorry everyone, PSOBB has become to addicting to me O.O...But ever since I finished that side quest, Im pretty free now))

Maria put both her Rapiers away, standing up she replied relieved. "Ohhh" She then noticed the figure in a white armor approach the two. While reaching for her Katana she ducked down behind the stump, continuing to stare at the group.

She couldn't tell anything the figure was trying to state, she began blinking her eye, and staring at the figure with a confused, annoyed, and frightened expression. She finally got up and yelled to the figure: "I have no clue what you are trying to say, can I have a hint?"

As the newcomer started to draw near, Anya began to feel a slight uneasiness in her skin, though she would not outwardly indicate it just yet and the feeling hadn't reached a level of bothersome anyway. Beginning to wonder why, she made a quick look over all of him and mentally noted the shoulder plates she spotted. Was that pure silver, and was he wearing more? She never understood why exposure to that particular metal was so weakening.

Looking between the two robed men, she crossed her arms. "Ah, very well then. Yes, I'd agree to that; safety in numbers and all." Subconsciously, she raised a hand toward her neck, her fingers fidgeting with the tag hanging off her collar. She was about to ask who would start the round, but was interrupted by the yell of one more in the area. She turned her head in the direction of the voice, spotting the girl in the distance emerging from her hiding place. "Oh, it appears we have more company. Now she turned the rest of her body toward her to call out, "Excuse me, why don't you...join us? It's not ideal to travel these woods alone, and we mean no harm."

Three people here on their own missions, Anya guessed that this girl may very well be on one herself.

As another newcomer arrived, the white robed man turned slightly to listen for what they would do next. Four beings, all within these woods at the same time. Coincidences didn't exist, and this meant something had drawn them together. Perhaps they'd find the secret of these woods before one of them died. But there was no guarantee any of them would make it out, for that matter.

"By all means." The one in blue turned and moved to a new position, not wasting a single step, forming a sort of triangular formation. In theory, a newcomer would step into a position that would form a square.
"I will begin. I am Echidnaeus. My people were hardly common many years ago, and even less so now. I know not if any of you would even recognize the name 'Protozoan'." He crossed his arms once again and gave a brief explanation of his nature. "I am one who fights evil, and that is what I intend to do here." He looked at the others expectantly, awaiting further introductions.

The girl let go of her Katana, she curiously stared at the group, she finally stepped on top of the stump, and jumped off running towards the group. she quickly stopped, still being a bit far from them. "Wait... this could be a trap..!" She looked away from the group, and frowned. "How...can I trust you...?" You could be a monster in disguise!

She reached for, and pulled her Katana out, pointing it at the group. "I don't trust you, and im not dying here!" She looked at the group in a rage, but you could tell she was still slightly afraid of them.

The green-haired elf turned her attention back to the one in blue as he eyes spoke his introduction. Her slightly widened in astonishment as he confessed what he was. "My word, are you truly? I've heard a fair share of lore regarding Protozoans in my younger days. So, you're an example of one that has reached the final human form. Remarkable." She was quick to believe, for that would explain why he was something new to her senses.

Taking her turn, she cleared her throat and began. "My name is Anya, and I am of the Elven race of Heimdall. I am aware my kind is known for being reclusive, but I grew curious of the outside world---"

It was here she was startled by the other girl's outburst. She turned an intense but neutral stare back at her, but slight nervousness could be read in her eyes. After a moment to steel her nerves, she sighed and spoke up once more. "Monsters...ah. Indeed, if we are to band together, then a level of trust must be established. I am willing to be open about myself, but I am certain you're not going to like what you hear." She glanced back at Echidnaeus and the other man for a moment, then back to the girl. "Could I at least...trust that you all will hear me out? If at the end of my story you find yourselves uneasy, I'll leave you be if that is what you wish."

The man in white simply listened. A protozoan and a paranoid little girl. And then this elf with a secret. At least things would be interesting. Maybe they could help him find the witch.

"Yes," Echidnaeus confirmed. "In that regard, you are more knowledgeable than a Balacrufian priest."
He didn't seem to be worried about what Anya might soon reveal. She did seem to be an unusual elf, both to his normal perception and his Protozoan intuition. She didn't seem hostile, anyway. "Go on."

The girl stopped for a moment, putting her katana back, she thought to herself. "...What am I doing? Im getting to worked up... For all I know, these people could help me...!"

She then turned her attention back to the elf, she gave a nod. "Okay..."
